This is a one of a kind property, and I’ve stayed in many different places! I can’t describe how beautiful it is, the serenity and the plus of the sauna! This cabin is well equipped and completely weather proof. I felt very comfortable even with the fluctuating temperatures! There were lots of special touches throughout the cabin and the property was pristine. An ideal place to stay when visiting the area. You will not be disappointed!

Such a cute place, right on the water. Had a nice overnight stay despite the weather not cooperating. The provision of water toys (kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, peddle boat) is really great.

Rustic!!! Which is exactly what I wanted. The 91 Yr old I was travelling with had enjoyed camping all his life (I wanted to relive his memories) was a little cool of the evening BUT sitting by the camp fire and overlooking the lake was PERFECT!!!! Thanks for the hospitality would definitely stay again!!!!

My fiance and I come here every year — it’s our favourite place to “camp” at by far! The cabins are adorable, Peter and Kristine have everything you need for cooking in them, there’s tons to do by the lake, and every cabin is private, cozy, and peaceful! Highly recommend.

We spent three nights at The Beach House and it was clean and stocked with everything we needed to have a great time. Posie is the sweetest host and made sure we knew we were welcome to contact her throughout our stay. We will most likely be back. Thank you!

Gisele & her husband were amazing hosts & are definitely worth booking with. Place was absolutely spotless and perfect to stay short term or long term. I was there for a month while working in the area & found it great! Would highly recommend checking Rosie’s place out!

I came to Lac du Bonnet to attend an immersive 16-day Wilderness Survival Training experience with ICSOS (International Canadian School of Survival) and Linda's place was the perfect accommodations for me! The Sunrise Cabin is super easy to find, private, and close to town. It's very peaceful and quiet in the area too. I slept so well. The cabin itself has plenty of space for two people to enjoy their stay. The bed is very cozy too! I was so comfortable staying here and it was great to have a kitchen to prepare my dinners.

Bob and Marilyn were the most wonderful hosts! We were so touched by their hospitality and genuine friendliness whenever we met or communicated via text message. The cabin was just as described, so very clean and cozy - we felt right at home. We were so impressed how well equipped the cabin was - especially the kitchen. Everything we needed was there. We just have to say that our expectations were exceeded! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

The Citadel is a beautiful place and the cabin was really cozy. Grahame was super friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We really enjoyed canoeing on the lake and having bonfires in the evening. The sauna is a really nice amenity. The website for booking watercraft, the sauna, and firewood was really easy to use and a nice touch.

Dora's place is wonderful. It's a little piece of heaven on her farm. I felt so welcomed. It's rustic and far from glamping. You have to have a certain mobility to climb the ladder and get to the loft, but it's well worth it. The place had everything we needed and was spotless. The veranda is so practical. We ended our evening by the fire pit. I will definitely go back next year.

This little cabin is magical! Wood stove provides ample heat. Hosts were literally the sweetest, even left a little gift:) super communicative and checked in often. Highly recommend ! (Also the oats are fantastic, check out their grain CSA!)

An amazing place to stay and get away from the busy life. The trails must be experienced! Words and photos do not do this place a justice. Meaghan, her husband and their lovely dogs and animals made us feel super welcomed and at home. We will be back for sure.

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful location and view of the lake. Close to several beaches, marinas, stores, and restaurants. Very cozy cabin for a couple or small family. Has all the conveniences of home. Diego was a great host and easily accessible for any questions.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The outdoor shower was a major highlight. We spent many hours out in the canoe and the rowboat, and we didn’t see a single soul the entire time. Robert was lovely and responsive. The cabin was well stocked and clean, and the views were amazing. We brought fishing gear and caught many bass. We saw many turtles, a beaver and lots of different birds. The hike in was moderately difficult and much of it was up hill. We brought our own wagon and used the pull cart Robert supplied. Wear good shoes! It was so worth it though. We’d highly recommend this beautiful piece of paradise!

Stayed here over my anniversary weekend with my husband, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed here with our dog and Julie provided a dog water bowl outside and some extra towels to put on the furniture. The cabin was very close to the beach, which was great for walks and it was nice and cozy inside. They have a ton of DVDs there for you to watch and we also brought our switch and played some games on the TV. There wasn’t any photos of the kitchen space, but they did provide drinking water and there is a skillet and a hot plate there to cook whatever you might need. We did end up buying some firewood because we didn’t realize they stored the firewood between their two properties. We would definitely stay here again, such a cozy little place!

Was my first trip to Canada from the US. Was such a peaceful way to relax after spending the day exploring.

Beyond the veil of trees upon the edge of lake Winnipeg is moored the Viking Ship within which you are destined to experience something more unique than one's usual encounters on airbnb. Mark's cabin is set upon the sandy shores of the lake which create a perfectly astounding mix of the sounds of water crashing onto land and visuals of the grand lake right through your window. The indoor decor and wood burning stove add a sense of comfort in peaceful isolation, and the outdoor kitchen kept you in tune with the elements. A little vinyl record player in a box provides yet more ambience with selections of music that amplify the connections to Scandanavia prominent in the nearby region. This will be one if the most unique experiences you will have - just be prepared to be one with the nature around you. A beautiful place I'd truly reccommend.

It's a great place to spend the night by the fire! Alvina was very helpful with all the amenities. And the breakfast that she made for us was amazing! I loved the cinnamon buns that she made. It might not be the best spot during winter but that didn't stop us from having fun and enjoying food from the BBQ grill that's available there. The Lil Bunkie is very cute and comfortable.

First things first we have to say WOW! Me and my husband decided to get away for a weekend and we both really enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. We were blown away by the cleanliness, beautiful views and how freindly and accommodating Ian was. Loved the note in the information book about how the cabin was crafted and made. The pride and craftsmanship that was put into this place really shows. You can tell Ian and his wife Lorna both care about their cabin and the people that rent it from them. The cabin itself was so comfortable and we felt right at home. It is definitely an outdoor enthusiasts dream! We checked ice conditions for ice fishing, went snowshoeing, went to riding mountain to see the bison and visited clear lake. Lots of beautiful scenery, very private. Loved the fact that you hear nothing, no highways, no busy streets. Felt like the perfect getaway! We have already been thinking of which date we would like to book again in the near future.
