We stayed over Valentine's / President's weekend, and Dory's place was perfect for us. The kitchen was well-appointed enough to make a nice Valentine's dinner. There was more than enough room for our family of 4 plus dog. The instructions for having a dog were concise, clear, and easy to follow. The location was perfect to head to Wenatchee State Park to enjoy the sledding hill and snowshoe trails. It was also fairly close to Leavenworth and Plain, allowing us to enjoy the Plain General Store as well as a day in Leavenworth (including the Leavenworth Adventure Park). Thank you for a wonderful place for a winter getaway!

Loved this place! Such a beautiful location and view. Would be a great place any time of year. Only about 5 minutes outside of town. Definitely visit The Alps candy store next door. Would definitely book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit while staying at Stacy’s cabin! The location was great and the cabin was beautiful and the amenities were perfect for what we needed. The cabin is very well maintained and very clean and cozy! Stacy was very quick and responsive whenever we reached out to her. We even left an item after checking out and Stacy is sending it to us. We loved our time staying here and would 100% recommend the cabin!

Beautiful and private location right on the river. The house was well equipped for our group of 6 adults. Close to restaurants and wineries in Chelan. Unfortunately, the hot tub stopped working due to the extreme cold temperatures (20s). The host was immediately helpful with instructions for trying to fix this. Even sending the neighbor to help. Unfortunately the issue could not be resolved but the host offered us a partial refund to make up for it. Just keep in mind if booking during the cold winter months.

This place is so cozy! The decor is awesome, the backyard is beautiful, as well as the view of the river. We had everything we needed and more! We loved the hot tub & fire pit and the couch & beds were super comfortable. We didn’t realize how far it was from Leavenworth, but the historical logging town it’s in is cute & quaint. The host was also very accommodating and communicative. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We brought four kids and it dumped snow while we were here. The provided sleds and sledding hill directly behind was a highlight. The kitchen was clean and stocked well. We made many meals, and found everything we needed. Very much appreciated the washer and dryer and provided amenities. Everything worked as it should throughout the house. After a long day full of winter activities we were always excited to get in the hot tub. Hot tub was a great temp and nice and clean. Towels provided. We visited Leavenworth daily and the roads were well plowed everyday. We liked staying outside of town and enjoying a peaceful retreat. Lynn was quick to reply to messages, provided thorough information, and check in/out were easy. We will definitely keep this place in mind when we return to the area to book again! Thank you!

This cabin was a perfect getaway for me and my friends. The house was super clean upon arrival and the stay was very relaxing.

This is an amazing experience, the place is absolutely worth the price. Great location, privacy, accessibility to grocery stores, parks. The house is in a private sector, in silence, among deer and otters) The house is clean, cozy with everything you need. This is a great place, one of the best we've been to. And the view is just gorgeous. Thank you! It is clear that the owner of the house cares very much about making guests feel special and welcome in this house.

Heated floors! Would highly recommend, even during the off-season. We booked in March and it was a perfect, short walk to the Wenatchee river. A sister took a long walk and she was perfectly safe. The hot tub was perfect for under the shooting stars, and the kitchen was highly stocked for all of our cooking! The biggest highlight for the inside of the house was definitely the heated floors. We didn’t realize when we booked that the cabin had them. For the outdoor highlights, the porches and backyards allow for perfect scenery while drinking coffee or sipping on a cocktail. Will book again!

I really appreciated the simplicity of the place, and the minimalist treatment of this wild spot. Felt lucky to be there when it snowed. Advisable to make a simple map or take screenshots to refer to, to help find it if arriving after dark. This is a very special area in increasingly rare native sageland habitat. Tread lightly and enjoy.

Was a beautiful place to stay, easy to find, clean, organized, perfect for a little trip away for 4. Hosts were helpful & attentive during a snowstorm that hit xmas day. We look forward to a stay there again in the future for sure!

Jake’s place was a very peaceful place to get away. Enjoyed the river right out back and the hot tub was a huge bonus. The kitchen was well stocked and very usable as we brought our own food to cook and enjoy. Very clean environment and ready for us to throw our bags down and relax. We had a wonderful stay at this historic home. Lovely setting. The kitchen was fully stocked. It was spacious and very comfortable for our family of 8. Loved the horses and chickens! We hope to come back someday! Thank you!

Great place to stay... We were there in early January and used it as our base for going to Loup Loup, Twist, and Winthrop. Cabin setting is awesome. Driveway could be challenging without 4wd. First time I have ever had to chain up our Sequoia was getting up the driveway on our last day after it had snowed all night. However, there is an upper parking area that I could have used to avoid the situation. It would have meant hauling all of our stuff a few hundred feet up a steep snowy driveway, which sounded like more work than just putting on chains. As mentioned the cabin itself is awesome and there's good snow play for kids right on site, which we did plenty of. Brewster itself was underwhelming this time of year, so we made the hour plus trek into the Methow Valley most days, which was doable, but further than ideal. Cabin was well stocked with everything you'd expect and everything worked well. Jessica was super responsive and very welcoming. Would recommend.

Alyson’s place was a great peaceful getaway from home. We absolutely loved that everything you could possibly need in the kitchen was at your disposal. The view was outstanding as everyone has mentioned already.

Very homey! Owner quickly responded to questions. The "game room" space exceeded expectations. Cabin is quality construction not drafty. We enjoyed just hanging out. Plain, Washington is picturesque in the winter.

Beautiful space outside and in, clean and extremely well stocked kitchen. The screened in porch was a great place to hang out and the hot tub, skee ball, arcade table game and darts downstairs provided us with plenty to do. Rebecca and Luke were easily reachable and very friendly. Great place to stay :)

I had a pleasure of staying here for a whole month by myself and it’s been a dream come true. Victor is an amazing, kind and easy to communicate with host. The cabin is gorgeous, spacious, cozy. I absolutely loved the fireplace, the cozy lights, the huge hot tub. The view and location are amazing. Lots of privacy with the cabin being surrounded by trees but also convenient because it’s right off the hwy 2. Lots of beautiful hikes nearby, scenic drive towards Leavenworth. I highly recommend this place and honestly can’t wait to be back :)

We came to swim! Perfectly situated between Chelan and Wenatchee for easy access to both. Lake Chelan, the Columbia River, Lake Entiat and Entiat River are all a short drive away. We swam in them all over our two night stay. Hiking trails are close by as well. The views from Joanne's place are incredible in every direction. It's quiet, peaceful, and very very clean. You can tell the space is well loved and well cared for. I would 100% stay there again.

The perfect cabin getaway for a group of friends! The cabin owners were friendly, communicative, and left clear instructions. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning. Will certainly be back to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this clean and cozy home. The location was great, its close to town yet not right downtown. The home is exactly as described in the listing and had everything needed for a peaceful stay. We were able to play outside, cook our meals, and play games as a family during our stay.
