Manuel Antonio Beach : locations de vacances en bord de mer

We were greeted by David and Penelope upon arrival with a warm welcome. We stayed on the ground level in the 2 bedroom suite with our own kitchenette however we received two wonderful meals per day with request. Our hosts were wonderful, informative, and accommodating arranging for a monkey tour through the Mangroves by boat and informed us of the tortuga release just down the beach from where we were staying so we could take the easy 5 minute walk to watch the release. Oh, speaking of the beach, it was amazing to have such an amazing expanse to walk wash day. We couldn't be more happy with our decision to stay with David and Penelope. Looking forward to our next stay with them.

Muy cómodo y completo departamento, además tiene un entorno maravilloso y estaba muy limpio. La pasamos excelente con mi familia, lo recomiendo muchísimo!!!

Beautiful home, excellent amenities. Everything you could need was available in the kitchen even though we didn’t cook! We loved the privacy and having the pool for ourselves. The hotel next door was very accommodating. Would stay here again and again!

Peaceful spot right next to the beach. Difficult to find with listed instructions- GPS location takes you to another place. Otherwise it was a nice spot with very helpful staff and amenities as described. Beach is clean and calm. Very outside of touristy areas. Would stay again.

Had an incredible week here with my mom. The space was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The pool was lovely and the grounds are beautifully maintained. It is a tranquil area away tucked a little out of the way but it’s a great location a close driving distance to grocery stores, the beach, rainforests and the national park. It’s a good value for everything you get and the beds were very comfortable as a bonus.

Nice & clean, 5 minute walk to a secluded beach that has more wildlife than the National Park... we are talking 3-4 sloths just chilling on the trees at the beach, not to mention the endless monkeys. The hotel itself is very relaxing and has all you need, portions in the restaurant are huge

AMAZING! If I could rate this a 10/10 I would. The place is even more magical in person. Super clean, everything exactly like in the pictures. The kitchen is fully equipped with every single item that you need. The bed is super comfortable. The washer works great and he even had a bike for me to get around. The beach is literally a few steps away, and the pool is also more beautiful in person. The view to the backyard is magical, in the evenings it’s peaceful and during the day you’ll see monkeys, black squirrels, all kinds of birds and parrots!!! Honestly, the gardeners are so kind and respectful, they felt like family. I didn’t want to leave because it’s truly a magical place. Super simple to get around, and if you’re looking for privacy, quiet, peaceful and beautiful sights. This is your place! Thanks Alex the place was beyond my expectation.

This welcoming, ocean view hotel suite was a great choice! Most notably was the service. Our host went out of his way to create comfort and care. He was responsive, helpful and even showed us local wildlife! The view and terrace is spectacular. We saw makaws, toucans, parrots, white faced capuchins, agouti, lizards, heard howler monkeys and many birds and humminbirds. The rooms stayed cool with the small unit and fan. The kitchen we decently stocked, however we would suggest making sure to have food staples with you if you are cooking. It is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to the main beach, parking was usually plentiful and free. The beach was very pretty and not super crowded. We loved Emilo’s Cafe and Holis Spa.

This is a great find. The location is unbeatable -- a few blocks from the park and the beach. The room itself was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the private patio was a nice touch. The beach towels and breakfast were also nice perks. I guess the only downside was that there were no microwaves, but it wasn't a big deal. Out of all the places I stayed in Costa Rica, this was the best. I would highly recommend this place!!

The staff of this location are incredibly helpful and go the extra mile to make your stay the best. We appreciated the breakfast that was included and even had laundry service during the fist day of our stay. The location is right next to the national park and a pack of monkeys will give you a 6 am wake up call every morning. It was the highlight of our trip watching them from our balcony each day. The beach is a short walk away and absolutely gorgeous. Lots of restaurants in the area too. There were 5 people in our group and the location we stayed in was very spacious. It could use a little maintenance...a few lightbulbs were out or broken, mold is starting to grow in 1 bedroom above the bathroom door (poor ventilation). There is also no on-site parking and we were a little uneasy parking our rental in an alleyway but it all worked out. Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives and we would stay here again for sure.

Loved my stay! Jörg and Inke were very welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful in every possible way. I would absolutely recommend them as a waypoint to any friends traveling through western Costa Rica. Jörg and Inke arranged for an amazing mangroves tour. Later in the week, they kindly coordinated a driver for me to get back to San Jose, meeting at their place on my way out from Costa Rica, even though they hadn’t been hosting my accommodations. They simply care about their guests as individuals in a way that is unheard of in most places anymore. It was like meeting up with new long-lost friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Casita Alessandro, the property is beautiful with lots of wildlife and birds! Giovanni was extremely helpful and welcoming. The place was nice and clean, with extra towels if needed! We really enjoyed spending our time outside on the balcony. It is a walkable area, with a few restaurants nearby and a quick walk to the beach (although it is a bit of a hike down). There was some construction in the area, and there is a second Casita being built on the property, but the noise didn't bother us as it wasn't excessive. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was a hidden gem. The listing photos don’t do it justice. I wish we could’ve stayed for longer! We went with a big group of 4 adults, 1 elder, 1 baby & 1 dog + the space was spacious enough for all of us to have our own private rooms & to share comfortably in the common areas and kitchen. The location is beautiful & the beach is basically private… for the time of year that we went (between Christmas & New Year) the beach was pretty empty — only a few others around. The surroundings are beautiful for morning or evening strolls with the baby & dog & the pool was the perfect spot to cool down. The cleaning staff were all super friendly & welcoming. The only downside is that the listing said there was wifi and one of the people in our group needed wifi for work, I messaged Sami & she clarified the listing hadn’t been updated. There is wifi by the pool & it barely reached the villa, a couple days in someone came in to put a repeater for us which worked only for a day

This luxury villa exceeded all expectations! The house made our entire vacation, a 10 out of 10. Having Andrey as our concierge was so helpful and he was so attentive. The location is also perfect! We loved walking to Ronnie‘s place for dinner and sitting on the pool deck, gazing out on the Pacific Ocean. We will be back!

Steve’s place is a little slice of paradise. Palo Seco beach is pristine & almost deserted, you can walk for miles & it is a 4 minute walk from Steve’s door. The pool at the Los Flores Condominium was a great place to cool off, it was beautifully landscaped & very peaceful. Steve’s place in Los Flores felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was very well supplied with everything I needed to prepare meals, and the washer allowed me to do laundry. The big yards really make the condos feel private. I plan on returning, excellent value for money.

muy buena la vista y el apartamento, para el camino si hay q subir con carro alto y xq la cuesta es muy inclinada pero por ende la vista... el señor javier muy atento

Gostamos muito da hospedagem. Fomos recebidos pessoalmente pelos anfitriões que nos passaram os detalhes da casa. Alguns detalhes foram resolvidos rapidamente e sempre nos responderam com gentileza e prontidão. Na segunda noite trancamos a porta com a chave dentro e Don José foi lá abrir a porta prontamente (ele mora há 25km de distância). O local fica a 1 minuto a pé da entrada do parque Manoel Antônio e a essa mesma distância da praia Espadilla. Tem restaurante, mercadinho, agências de passeio, bares, tudo ao alcance a pé. O ônibus para bem próximo de lá também. A casa é muito confortável, silênciosa , bem equipada e há muitos animais ao redor (veados, iguanas, macacos). Tem uma sacada bem legal pra tomar café e ouvir as ondas do mar bem cedinho. Recomendamos o lugar, sobretudo pela atenção dos anfitriões.

Great studio 2 min walk to the beach! Convenient market, restaurant, close to Manuel Antonio! My only challenge (my own fault!) was not being more clear with location before I lost cell coverage. We found it quickly after another pass through but pay attention before you get to the end of the road. Thanks!

Beautiful single family house in a gated community with a pool. Very close to beach. Have everything you need. Just a little bit far from national park. Definitely worth the price.
