Amazing location and such a serene place!! The hosts were super communicative and we’d definitely come back. The outside shower was a huge highlight!

We had such an amazing time at Sarah’s place! Very serene and less than 3 minute walk to the beach. There is so much to do in this area and rides to town are easy to coordinate with Banana Azul hotel just down the street (or you can rent bikes or drive). The Banana Azul hotel also has a great restaurant right on the beach. The bedroom villa has a wall air conditioner and fan above the bed, so it was very cool at night. It was so amazing to wake up to the monkeys and toucans every morning. Sarah also helped to arrange massages and an incredible meal by Chef David. I can’t say enough good things about our stay we’ll definitely be back.

Villa Julio was great. The property managers with Rise were very helpful and friendly. Especially Fabian, who greeted us on arrival. We had a wonderful time spotting wildlife from the deck every day. We saw and heard howler monkeys every day, spotted an iguana in the tree, as well as a sloth. We rented bikes for our time there and were able to get wherever we needed to go.

Our stay was very good. Stefan was always ready to help and he answered immediately every time. This made our stay a lot easier! Thanks a lot Stefan. We hope you keep doing well and wish you the best! Thanks again! Take care of yourself man.

GREAT house!!! Huge, open spaces. Beautiful exterior with lush landscaping and a great pool. Perfect house with a lot of character. Big kitchen, perfect to host dinner for a large group and with all the things you need to cook. Overall fantastic experience! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. And Mariana is the best host! Easy to communicate with, very flexible with requests, and she put this together for our group on short notice!

Great location, convenient to Cahuita & Puerto Viejo. Great value for a whole house with a private pool and beautiful outdoor living space. We watched capuchins playing above the backyard and a toucan perched above the house one morning and we heard howler monkeys, as well. Check in was a little tricky because you have to meet the manager, Yordi, at the home for check-in, but he was very responsive to texts and was good to work with. The home had everything we needed. Water pressure was very poor in the master shower, but was great in the 2nd bath, so we just used that one. We loved the European style bedding. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Best vacation I ever had and Janet and this AirBnB played a big role in that. The house was SO spacious and airy and connected with the nature surroundings. I could have laid in the second floor hammock all day listening to the rainforest sounds and reading a book. If you’re new to this area, literally any restaurant you walk to will have the best food you’ve ever eaten in your life. Janet was so welcoming and accommodating and fun to talk to. If you want a big, open mansion of a house in the middle of the rainforest, this is heaven.

Super tolles Haus Mut Pool, ruhig und mitten in der Natur, wir haben im Gelände Affen auf den Bäumen rum springen sehen, einfach fantastisch. Morgens hörst du von weitem der Brüllaffw zum Frühstück. Hier erhält du gleich ein Teil der traumhaften Natur von Costa Rica. Das Haus ist wirklich zum empfehlen. Ausstattung mit Toaster und allem was man zum Frühstück braucht. Gerne wieder.

Highly recommend staying here. Megan Jo was extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly. They did everything the could to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. The studio was perfect for my needs - solo traveler working remote - good WiFi, AC, comfortable bed. They were super kind and accommodating allowing me to stow my luggage and park my rental car inside their gate. Would stay here again.

Annie is a great host. Very accommodating. Loved the place. Easy to feel right at home. So nice to sit out on the patio and watch for birds, lizards and sloths! Comfortable bed and quiet at night. Walking distance to lots of restaurants/bars and the beach. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Annie! Pura Vida!

Maria is a great and sweet host. The garden is beautiful and well looked after. The place is safe and has a gate. The kitchen was very well provided with daily necessities like tea, coffee, honey, olive oil, herbs etc. The location was perfect for us, away from the noice from the town, and when you cross the road you’re on the nature path along the sea going to beautiful and fun Cocles beach within 5 minutes.

We had a great stay at the River Dream House. We loved staying in the rainforest, very close to a beautiful beach (10 min walk on a private path). The hosts were very helpful and responsive. The free laundry service was also appreciated! The house is a short distance from the Jaguar Rescue center and ARA Manzanillo, we loved visiting both.

Demasiado bien para alejarse de las presas de Puerto Viejo, Casa muy equipada, ubicación estratégica para realizar compras en la frontera con Panamá y su vez disfrutar de Puerto Viejo.

Un lugar demasiado tranquilo y cómodo, vale la pena hospedarse acá, a la playa se puede llegar caminando, otros lugares quedan cerca pero siempre es más fácil en algún medio de transporte, recomendado 100%. El lugar estaba muy limpio y muy fresco para el clima de Limón, el aire es un plus, en nuestro caso casi no lo usamos de lo fresco que es el lugar.

Tolle Unterkunft im grünen mit ruhiger Lage! Strand ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar (ca. km), sowie diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurands. (ca. 500m)

Diese Unterkunft war atemberaubend! Einfach ein richtiger Dschungel-Traum! Morgens von den Brüllaffen geweckt zu werden und abends von den Dschungelgeräuschen einzuschlafen …das muss man mal erlebt haben! Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und wollten eigentlich gar nicht mehr weiter reisen ;-) Richtig schön und gemütlich war es!

Maison exeptionelle . Réponse rapide à tous nos questionnements. Très propre et très beau. Exactement comme sur les photos. Belle piscine, très belle cuisine pour faire nos repas, eau potable et à l’écart des autres maisons. Petit paradis caché. Elle était parfaite pour nous. Nous étions 7. Nous nous sommes fait réveiller le premier matin par les singes hurleurs . Ils sont restés toute la journée dans les arbres autour de la maison :-) Très beau spectacle. Nous avons vu aussi des colibris qui butinais dans les fleurs autours de la maison. La végétation autour de la maison était exceptionnelle. Bananiers, papayers, oiseaux du paradis , vraiment très beau. Situé entre les deux parcs de Cahuita et Manzanillo. Emplacement idéal. Ne pas manquer le sentier vers Cahuita avec les 2 km passerelles nommé Puerto Vargas. Bref nous étions 7 dans la maison soit mon mari et mes 2 enfants, mes 2 parents et mon frère. La maison était parfaite pour nous. Je vous recommande fortement.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Bohemian Bungalow. When we arrived, it looked just like it was pictured. Sara & Nic were very communicative, friendly, and responsive during our four day stay. The beds were super comfy and the waking up to the sounds of birds and monkeys was absolutely magical. We had many animal visitors (even racoons visiting one night) so it was adventurous, but the rooms are screened so you felt in nature, yet protected. Bugs were not an issue at all! The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and the bathrooms and showers were beautiful. It was close to a great beach (playa Chiquita) where you could walk from the house and also biking distance from Playa Uva and Playa Cocles, both fantastic beaches - great location. There were fantastic restaurants all around...we never made dinner - Nic & Sara gave great recommendations! We couldn't be happier with our stay & highly recommend the Bohemian Bungalow! It was the trip of a lifetime.

Demasiado lindo el lugar , todo estaba impecable. Súper cómodo , los súper quedan cómo a 10min de puerto viejo cómo 40min. Cómo recomendación poner cortinas con black out ya que en la mañana si entra mucha luz. Súper recomendado , iría otra vez. Muchas gracias ❤️

Absolutely beautiful home. It really allows you to enjoy Costa Rica’s wildlife! Would stay again just for the outdoor living experience. There are a lot of bugs in the home, kitchen was not clean, and coffee pot takes about 30 minutes to make a whole lot. It also says that the beach is steps away but it is really about a 5 minute drive.

Was für eine großartige Unterkunft. Inmitten von einem tollen grünen Garten mit einer Menge Tiere (Affen, Iguana und Tucane!) steht dieses tolle Haus aus Holz. Es ist noch viel schöner als in der Beschreibung. Und um den Aufenthalt perfekt zu machen, sind Diane und ihr Mann auch noch super nett und hilfsbereit. Ich hoffe, wir können irgendwann wieder zurückkommen :)

We had a great time in the beautiful house of Susana. Our kids enjoyed the large pool with the water fall, the large amount of toys and watching the Cherengas and howler monkeys. The house is equipped with everything needed, there is a key for a private path to the beach and we would definitley come again. Thanks Susana for hosting us!
