We had a great stay at Tesja's cottage. It had lots of charm and was very comfortable and well equipped. It is in the forest close to beautiful hikes and convenient for St Mary's lake. Tesja provided some lovely breakfast items for our arrival which was lovely. Thank you....we would stay again and recommend her cottage if you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful stay in the woods.

This has been our favorite Airbnb stay ever! The views are insanely beautiful..it was honestly mind blowing! Sunny and Aparna went above and beyond to ensure our family was comfortable and well taken care of. They were the most friendly and helpful hosts we have encountered. The hot tub was wonderful and the kitchen was well stocked. We very strongly recommend staying at this beautiful cottage!

Great location, so many beaches. Robins and bunnies in the yard. Stargazing and quiet. Bright and lots of room. Had a restorative and creative time. Good books too.

Wonderful Airbnb! It was so thoughtfully designed and the setting is gorgeous. The hosts have thought of so many little touches that made it feel really special. We would (and hopefully will) absolutely come back.

A perfectly positioned cabin on the lake with all the amenities one might desire. The hot tub was perfect for our cold wet weekend. The host were always quick to help and make our stay the best.

Our stay at the cottage was truly the highlight of our trip to Salt Spring Island. The property is stunning, surrounded by lush forest and vibrant greenery that create a peaceful, secluded atmosphere. We loved starting our mornings with the outdoor shower- such a unique and refreshing experience- and ending our days relaxing in the hot tub, especially after hiking Mount Erskine and Mount Maxwell. Inside, the cottage is cozy yet modern, with a wood-burning stove, clean design, beautiful kitchen and stunning views from the loft bedroom. We appreciated the nearby walking trails and the proximity to the ocean, a few km away- a real bonus since Salt Spring Island is best explored by car. Shannon and Ryan were fantastic hosts- thoughtful, helpful, proactive, and full of great local recommendations. This cottage is a perfect retreat for anyone seeking comfort and nature. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful place to stay for a long weekend in Galiano. The location and view is downright idyllic and if you enjoy stargazing from a hot tub, you won’t find a better place to do it. The cottage is an older one, so if you’re the type of traveler who prefers a pristine, modern interior, this place may not be the best fit. For me though, its age and imperfections just added to its overall charm. I’ll absolutely be rebooking the next time I’m on Galiano.

We loved our stay at Jordan and Jordie's. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and warm. The hot tub was a nice way to relax. The location was perfect if you enjoy peace and quiet, exploring beaches, and there was surf nearby!

It is a perfect place to have peaceful moments and relax. Wanda is a nice hostess with a very good energy. We had an amazing time there.

Absolutely beautiful place. Exactly what me and my partner needed for our anniversary, the perfect little cabin. We spent most of the days out exploring the island and coming home to this place what a dream. The kitchen was AMAZING. had every tool imaginable (measuring spoons, measuring cups, multiple spatulas of different kinds, great cooking oil), I work in the culinary industry and this kitchen didn’t disappoint one bit. We had everything we needed and more. All of the of the cleaning supplies and hygiene items were very good quality. Also, love the chicken coop theme, it was the perfect addition to this great cabin. And for the price, this place is 10/10 if you’re looking for somewhere private and beautiful, look no further!

Trevor’s place is such a lovely spot. We felt right at home! It’s spacious but cozy. The view is great and made sitting by the fire so scenic. We absolutely loved it.

We absolutely loved staying at the farm! Lisa is very welcoming and the animals are irresistible. The yurt was charming and peaceful and the amenities were perfect for our stay. We loved visiting with the donkeys (Stanley & Ollie), goats, and cows (Evangeline & Lulu) while strolling through the farm, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It was as perfect a getaway as we could have hope for. Thank you!

This place is a true gem on the west coast. This was the perfect peaceful getaway we were hoping for. Wonderful hosts, gorgeous private cabin, and incredible ocean views. We’re already planning our next visit.

Our family of six had an absolutely wonderful vacation at James's place! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The location is truly spectacular – so peaceful and serene, with breathtaking views. We were so impressed with how well-equipped everything was. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, and the outdoor BBQ area was a real treat. We especially loved the balcony overlooking that amazing lake; it was the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. There was more than enough room for our big family to spread out comfortably. A special mention must go to Bev and Don, the neighbours next door. They were so incredibly kind and welcoming – it truly felt like we were visiting family! The only minor downsides were the master bedroom's spring mattress and wishing for curtains on the living room's picture window. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended!

An absolutely beautiful cabin and property. Roman was a fantastic host, great communication and made us feel right at home. The craftsmanship in the cabin is very impressive and makes for a very warm and personal experience. Sauna is awesome, view is great and the beds were soooo comfy! We absolutely will be returning.

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s cabin. Extremely beautiful scenery complete with seals, ducks and geese swimming by the dock. The surrounding forest is gorgeous and we loved observing the tide. The beds are incredibly comfortable with luxurious linens. Comfy couches and I loved reading in the swinging chair. We enjoyed the dock, the outdoor dining area and the covered deck. As it states in the listing, it is a steep gravel road going down to the cabin that requires 4-wheel drive. Was no problem for us. I will miss this place and hope to visit again.

Absolutely incredible place! Unique layout, tons of stuff to explore inside and outside, AMAZING porches, and gorgeous views. Spent each morning sipping coffee and watching seals swim around and occasionally flop up onto the docks right off the back deck. Butchart Gardens is right down the road and well worth a visit! Can’t say enough good things about this place. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Don’t hesitate.. just book it!!!

Such a relaxing place to stay! Incredible views, comfy bed and sofa, and we loved the record and VHS collection. Would recommend the nearby Oaks Bluff viewpoint (we easily walked from the house) and the couples massage at Woods. The only thing we found tricky to use was the oven / cooker. It’s as the photos show - very charming and you just have to be patient!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The weather was perfect and we spent hours lounging on the beautiful deck, basking in the sunshine while listening to the soothing sound of the roaring surf. The views were breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot eagles soaring above us—a truly magical experience. The cabin itself was the perfect retreat, offering everything we needed and more. John was welcoming and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable. One of the highlights was the master bedroom, which had an incredible view. Waking up to the sight of the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing beneath the window was an experience we’ll never forget. We also took long walks along the beach and explored the nearby waterfall, which was so peaceful and rejuvenating. This stay has by far been my favourite place to unwind, and we will absolutely be back.

This is a truly magical place, surrounded by trees and nature! The cozy cabin and the indoor-outdoor shower were one of a kind. How does one go back to a regular shower after showering surrounded by trees? Staying here was a true Salt Spring experience on a very quiet part of the island, about a 20 minute drive from Ganges - the downtown area. Alanda was a great host and very speedy to get back to us when we had questions. Our stay was fantastic and we'd recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Mary was a lovely host — friendly and easy to communicate with. The Miner’s Cabin is in a quiet spot with a great setup and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient, and the place has a nice, laid-back vibe. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay!

We had a great week at the cottage. It is really cozy and comfortable and we had everything we needed! Perfect for a family vacation. We enjoyed walking to the Kinsol Trestle and saying hello to the ponies up the road. We took day trips to the Raptor centre, Malahat Skywalk, Victoria and Ladysmith. We highly recommend the dumpling restaurant in Shawnigan Lake village and the Lakehouse Restaurant (which has lovely lake views).

Thanks for an amazing experience. The place is fantastic and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I would love to come back for a longer stay next tine.

Had a wonderful stay on Galiano in a beautiful place. It was easy to get to from the ferry and even had a little community trail to and from the Airbnb which was lovely. The hosts were super responsive and flexible and I appreciated that so much. I think I found my go to place to stay when I go to Galiano :)
