Dodge House is a historic property that has been in the family for generations. Weather and age takes its toll, but it has been carefully modernized (central A/C!) for the comfort of guests without it losing its Victorian charm. Wonderful people with lifetimes of stories about the island. Great location just around the corner from downtown, yet far enough away from the fray for a peaceful stay.

The downtown location was perfect for our plans. The owners were very accommodating and were great communicators I would recommend this place to others who are looking for a place to stay downtown Port Clinton where you can walk to restaurants, bars and the jet express - thanks for a great stay!

Great place. Very convenient location. The boat launch at the State park is in walking distance and food was close by too.

We enjoyed staying at this condo! It was decorated cute and made us feel right at home. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals too! We didn’t bring our boat this trip but it has a great place to have your boat in the water steps away from the condo. Would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here!

This is the second time we've stayed here, which says more than anything else. The place was great, just like last time. Noticed some nice updates this time to make the place even better. Literally the only reason not to stay here would be if someone in your party cannot climb stairs or would have difficulty with a bathtub type shower. Aside from that, book with complete confidence.

BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND!!! We came down on a weekend where Lake Erie was struggling with the residual hurricane helene weather. Despite the fall back Morgan and Rachel were so accommodating, very responsive and helpful with our late check in and always got us what we needed in a timely manner. The Airbnb was close to everything and the had the best golf cart deals out of every place we went to. I can’t imagine staying somewhere else. Very impressed and we will be back soon!

Beautiful place that was decorated impeccably. They thought of everything. Perfect place for a getaway. Nice downtown area by the water with multiple restaurants and some shops. Quiet city and quiet location to relax. If you're looking for a place where you are mostly going to "stay in", this is a great choice!

A nice quite location and close to a Wild-Life, Preserve. Pretty surroundings and walkable. Close enough to get to popular things in the area. Was perfect for my team and I with the pool table and games we could play. A nice quite Sports Bar close by with great food. Has everything you need for your stay and clean.

Dave’s place was great! Parking in the alley was a little hard to find, so we parked out front when we first got there and then figured it out. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for our large group for our weekend to Cedar Point (which was only 10-15 minutes away). If we had been there an extra day it would have been nice to walk around cute downtown nearby. Hot tub was a nice amenity. Host was very good at responding and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Thanks, Paul and Pam, for the care you've taken with your Bird's Nest apartment. We had everything we needed for our stay and we appreciated all your special touches to make your guests feel at home. We especially appreciated how clean the whole apartment was, how soft the sheets were, how well stocked the kitchen was, the good shower, all the special touches, and the good selection of coffees, tea and cider! In spite of being on Route 163, we had no issues with the traffic sounds. The only caution I'd mention to future guests, and you mention it, is that the steps for anyone with mobility issues might have some trouble navigating the steps. They are well lit and have good banisters but it's a fair number of steps. I was able to sit on the upstairs porch to enjoy my morning coffee and loved the sounds of the spring peepers singing across the street! We love the area and will definitely keep Bird's Nest on our list for future visits to the Lakeside Marblehead area. Thank you!

Conveniently located, close to several populated areas with nice restaurants, bars, and sights. A pretty property you can walk and a cute wooded area across the street from the Airbnb you have access to as well.

Jessica was the best host i’ve ever had. She was extremely helpful with our trip to Cedar Point, she gave us good recommendations on things to do and she responded very quickly. She let us have a later checkout date when we were leaving which was very convenient! The house was very clean and spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The next time I come back to Cedar Point I will be staying here again!

We stayed at Kory’s place for a month and a half while we were house hunting in the area with the whole family, dogs included. It’s a great location with a short, peaceful walk to the beach. There is a doggy door that leads into a large, private yard that was perfect for our pups, one large and very active. The house is cozy, the neighbors are friendly, and the host Kory is responsive and thoughtful. Would definitely stay again for a weekend getaway!

House was beautiful and came with 6 person golf cart. Great area of the island close to everything but yet house was in a quiet street only 1 neighbor down the road. We had the best weekend there!! House newly built all updated its the perfect place to stay. Definitely recommend and planning to go again!!

Beautiful condo with lake theme. My grandson asked if we could come back next week. Great furnishing and we felt right at home with everything we needed. Neighbors were all very friendly too! Thank you.

My Best friend, of 30 years, and I live 1/2 way across the country from each other. So once a year we have a girls weekend 1/2 way towards each other, which happens to be somewhere in Ohio. This time we visited Oak Harbor and stayed in Muddy Water Properties. What an idyllic setting. the birds and wildlife that came up to the 4 seasons room in the quiet of the morning was so stress relieving. We had a wonderful time catching up, laughing, crying and observing the view. Thank you for a wonderful reunion from Iowa and Virginia

Bridget was a great host, who offered us an earlier check in and later checkout due to the availability. Her place had pretty much everything we needed, including some DVD movies and puzzles, which my granddaughter LOVED. Great views of the water from both sides of the condo, too!

I really enjoyed this condo. Stayed during some crazy winter weather, definitely not tourist season and that was perfect. It was so quiet and peaceful. Loved watching the birds on the river. Some days there were up to 20 trumpeter swans and our last morning we watched an eagle grab a fish from the river. It was amazing. I was sad to leave. Would most definitely stay again.

Corinne's place was a wonderful stay for us. Instructions on where to park, how to access the building, etc. were very clear and easy to follow. The loft was very, very clean... spotless! We appreciated all the little extra details, especially the Keurig pods provided. I always pack my own coffee and had forgotten to, so we were so happy to see that they were provided. I would highly recommend this loft to others looking to book a stay in Sandusky! I'd like to note that we both found the bed to be on the firm side, but obviously this is something that is a personal preference so may not be an issue for others but probably good to know when booking. Thank you Corinne!!
