This was the best lakeside cabin with a deck right in the water. It was such an amazing and relaxing weekend. We fully enjoyed the hot tub as we star gazed at night. I can’t wait to book again I. The summer time. Wayne and Nenette are very sweet people. They are very thoughtful and left us a welcome gift. Book this love shack you will not be disappointed!

Great find! We stayed here for a ski trip up to Baker, the location is prime, the Airbnb is exactly as described and a great deal for what you get. I’d definitely stay here again, can’t recommend it enough

My boyfriend and I loved staying here with our dog. The place was very welcoming and stocked with all the essentials. The fenced yard and hot tub were a nice touch. We felt right at home! We would definitely stay again if we were back in the area.

This cabin was the perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort. This cabin is super cozy, and has everything you need to feel comfortable while also letting you feel like you’re out on the frontier. Great location for activities in the Mt. Baker area!

Lovely cabin. Very complete. There was a neighboring house being constructed very close but Beth and Eli did let us know in advance. It was raining for several days which made the big windows helpful for natural light. Nice area at the base of Mt Baker. Great hiking.

A perfectly cozy and quiet retreat. Extremely comfortable bed, hot tub was pristine, and before arrival the hosts had shoveled snow and put down de-icer on the steps and deck. Thoughtful touches included: basic kitchen staples like olive oil/salt/pepper, dog food & water bowls, all shower essentials, and a detailed and helpful cabin guide. Beautifully and tastefully decorated too! Kimberley gave me great recommendations for local snowshoeing and winter walks and was delightful to communicate with. 10/10, will absolutely stay again!

Loved this cozy cottage! It was perfect for our weekend away and had everything you would need. We loved being able to walk down to the water. It matched the description and photos perfectly, and there were very clear instructions for accessing. Definitely would stay here again!

Such a warm and charming place! Feels totally isolated and private yet short drives to restaurants and small grocery stores. A bit of a drive to Mt Baker ski area (but < 1 hour) and the value for money is really excellent. We were a party of 4 + pooch and the space, while cozy, worked perfectly and we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

it was a fantastic place to stay. the surroundings were beautiful and it was very peaceful. the kitchen is top level restaurant quality. the layout was fantastic to relax and play games and cook. everything was very clean and hotel quality linens. the other great part was dogs are allowed. it was too cold to swim in the lake, but I bet on the summer the lake would be amazing

We had a great time in this little cabin for the weekend. They did a great job on the remodel, and it felt modern and rustic at the same time. The view was incredible, and we enjoyed it from the bedroom, the couch, and out on the deck. The host was considerate and made sure we were aware that the beach access was down a steep set of stairs (I believe we counted 62 steps) and that once you get down there, you will need to navigate some driftwood and rocks. At high tide the water comes to just below the bottom of the stairs, and at low tide you can walk the beach. The stairs were in good shape, and so are we, so it wasn't an issue at all. We were also pleasantly surprised to see that there was a good stock of dry firewood to use inside the house and out near the cliff. Oh and the host was kind enough to hang a happy birthday sign for my wife's 40th, along with a couple of bottles of wine. 10 out of 10 great experience!

Perfect location, perfect host(s), perfect cabin makes for a perfect getaway for R&R. We had a wonderful experience and will be returning again soon. A huge shoutout to the onsite host. She was super responsive, friendly and fun!

Super séjour dans cette cabine, où Lynn a été très aidante. Idéalement situé, permet à la fois de profiter des activités aux alentours tout en étant "en retrait", dans la nature. Endroit parfait si vous souhaitez un peu de repos au calme ! Accès à Cultus Lake, Vedder rail, Chilliwack... tellement de choses à découvrir ! Lynn a été réactive, aux petits soins et le chalet est très accueillant. L'emplacement pour le feu extérieur est un rai plus appréciable. Je reviendrais sans hésiter au printemps !

Spent 10 nights as a solo writing retreat (with my wife joining me on the weekend). Perfect for this even in mid-November. Super livable small home, south-facing right on the lake, two lakeside wall almost all windows, so daylight was beautiful. Thought it might be cold inside in November but the house is snug; heats up nicely and there are no drafts. Brad and Lisa are excellent hosts: quick to respond, helpful and friendly. It’s abundantly clear how much they love the place. Lots of small but nice touches. And then there’s the lake. We stayed here in warm weather before and enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding and rowing. But even in cold weather the lake is a treat. Ducks, loons, sunrise sparkles, evening sunsets. I have only good things to say.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfy and the hot tub was great. The sound of the river was exactly what we needed. Our intent was to enjoy a peaceful weekend in nature away from city and we were able to do exactly that.

We had a great stay. The charming cabin was just as described, and in a perfect location for our ski get away. The hot tub wasn’t working, the host was extremely responsive, and went above and beyond to get it fixed. In the end we did not get to use the hot tub, which was disappointing especially after skiing, but they offered to compensate without me asking which I appreciate. We will definitely stay here again.

Our stay was brief but the hosts were very accommodating and responsive. We needed to get in early to get ready for a wedding and they honored our request, we were so grateful. The beds were so comfortable and loved by all, even the spare pull out beds. I would recommend this stay.

This little cabin was perfect for weekend retreat in the woods. had all the amenities to feel at home with thoughtful decorations and supplies. a lot of good walking around the area and easy access. would definitely stay here again!

I make it a habit to not write online reviews, and this is my first experience with Airbnb so I can't compare it to any other Airbnb experiences, but while we were spending a few days together at the cabin, I realized that of all the places I have stayed away from home, none of them felt more like a home away from home than the cabin did. It was a lovely place to spend time together as a family, slowing down to enjoy the river and the fires and the rain, finish a book and a jigsaw puzzle, little things that matter. I hope we will be lucky enough one day to return.

We had the most wonderful time at Christine‘s place. Her cabin was pristine and spotless. Probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. She was super friendly and we would definitely come back!
