Second year that our group of friends has celebrated New Year’s Eve at Sparrow House. It is such a delightful place - very thoughtfully appointed, sparkling clean, with beautiful views of the Hudson. Sarah was very responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed for three nights at Irene’s and loved the space! The house is easy to find and check-in is a breeze. The house is very clean and the kitchen well stocked. If you’re in the area for skiing and hiking, the location is great. Also very close drive to great restaurants, breweries, and shops. Would stay again!

Kristin is truly the best host I’ve ever encountered! It is clear that she is doing this not as just a business but because she genuinely wants to create a sacred place rooted in care. We were welcomed with a delicious loaf of bread and she was readily available whenever we needed anything. She always ensured we were comfortable and would even come to shovel periodically when there was a winter storm. Anytime she stopped by she would ask if we needed her to pick up anything and would bring us a treat. The energy of the house is very special, it feels like you are in an extension of nature. There are relics from India, sound bowls, and stones from around the world under the floor that all contribute to the house’s magic. It completely surpassed my expectations.

My group loved our stay at Alan and Cara’s place for the Sheep & Wool festival. Great space for a large group; we especially loved how comfortable the living room couches were and how there was space for everyone there to gather. The place was immaculately clean. We’d love to come back again!

We had a great stay. Home was clean and as photographed, and kitchen was well stocked for our large group.

I can only add to the rave reviews, especially those that point out that this is what Airbnb is meant to be - not a hotel like experience in a condo, but a somewhat quirky space full of personality and life. Location is great. Parking space a plus. Great for those traveling w pooches. And host Kira is the best. Detailed instructions and local recommendations, excellent value for this much space and generous offer to treat her home as your own.

My friends and I loved Jenny’s home. Every corner there was something else to look at. It was spotless and we felt right at home. What a beautiful weekend in Kinderhook, felt like an escape. Cute town too!

Comfortable family get away.

Although I did not find this an issue, I felt safe--Keep reading-- Diane's apartment is on the second floor(as described). Self check-in through the front door; upon entering the front door there are multiple other doors on the first floor surrounding the stairs(not a private entrance). Access to the apartment is the stairs, sectioned/separated by a curtain, no locking door between the apartment and the first floor residence. Note there is a lock on the bedroom door. Don't let the above discourage you! EASY FIVE STARS. Diane's apartment has a high rating for multiple reasons!! To sum it up = clean, quiet and comfortable. I stayed for the night to get some rest after a long day of driving between ski resorts, but perfect set-up for an extended stay. Diane has really thought of it all: essentials, snacks, brochures... everything. Peaceful area: star gazing at night and sunrise over the river in the morning. I would stay in Diane's apartment to do some exploring around Athens next time.

Orna was so welcoming and easy to communicate with. The apartment is cozy and well appointed. We were visiting our daughter and family for Thanksgiving. They recently moved to Kingston . Great location! This would not affect most people, but my 90 year “young” dad was with us, so the old fashioned tub/shower was a bit of a hazard for him. Really a gem of a place if you are traveling through or visiting loved ones in Kingston.

Doris was an amazing host who went above and beyond in making the stay both comfortable and convenient! I would highly recommend her to anyone staying in the area!

Great place - extremely close to Belleayre mountain. Daniel was super helpful and even managed to lend me a charger for my phone (that I forgot to bring). Great to soak in the tub after skiing.

Beautiful b&b. Delicious breakfast. Historic, charming home. It was peaceful yet walking distance from Main Street and trail heads.

We loved our stay! The apartment is within perfect walking distance of Warren street, and is really cozy and cute inside. Comfy bed, and we really appreciated the provided coffee, milk, and light breakfast options. Bryan was super responsive and flexible with an early check in which made our arrival into town seamless. Would definitely stay again and recommend to all!

lovely stay with Susan . Her spot affords beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. Friendly group of people at the house and she made me a delicious breakfast on my way out. The room was all very comfortable.

Heidi goes above and beyond for her guests. Her home is warm and welcoming making you feel right at home. The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch. we had the pleasure of meeting Heidi and it was such a pleasure getting to know her. She also gives great recommendations on where to go around town. We will definitely be coming back for another stay. Thank you Heidi, Randy, and of course their pup Satchmo for a wonderful stay. We are grateful you open your home to us all.

“Tusen takk!” 1000 thanks immediately brings to mind about our recent stay with Troy. He purely defines the essence of hospitality, elegant, & functional design, and is quite a chef! From our preliminary planning communication, Troy took a vested interest in the outcome of our visit. He is exceptionally aware of the finer details of Hyde Park and its environs. We learned about Scandinavian culture, tasted delectable & authentic food preparations and increased our vocabulary in a beautifully unique way. Troy‘s giant heart and personal world experiences come into play as he cherishes lively conversation. There is hardly a topic where he is not conversant, yet let us have personal downtime in front of a luxurious fireplace setting. The furnishings and design are immaculate – – all part of Troy’s authenticity. The heart-shaped Norwegian waffles are something we will long cherish. (Took photos!) We both wish we could have stayed for a month and are already talking about returning!

I absolutely love this little cottage. This is our second time staying. It is very cozy, perfect for a couple for the weekend. The property is very quiet and peaceful with the brook running right past the back of the cottage. It is an easy walk into the center of town and the strip with various stores, restaurants, and bars. The cottage was clean, neat, and had all basic necessities. Panxi and Diana are great hosts, available for questions. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this booking.

We felt completely at home and welcomed. We loved being surrounded by Tina’s art and her vast collection of art books was a joy- even though our visit was short and I only got to dive into a couple of them. The space was pristine (not an easy feat in an old house). It was warm and toasty and the bed was perfection, even to this person’s occasionally demanding back. Architecturally the row of houses on her street was interesting to me from a historical perspective. These are small, attached pre civil war Italianate buildings, simple with intact details. They were originally built as apartments for clay mining workers. I look forward to coming back and spending a bit more time at Tina’s!

Doris and John are such wonderful hosts, really enjoyed my stay. Bed is very comfortable and breakfast was amazing!

Kelly’s inn couldn’t have been better. It’s absolutely perfect. I’ve never felt so happy with an Airbnb booking as I felt with this Inn. Cozy and clean bedroom and bathroom, gorgeous inn, and the best part honestly: the breakfast. Everyday was a surprise and I was always excited for what delicious dish she had prepared for breakfast - she has magic hands for cooking. In every single detail I could see Kelly and her husband’s effort and love for this place. They are so nice, very helpful and they will give you great recommendations of what to do around! Kelly established a standard way too high for b&b for me - I’ll never find one as good as hers haha (and that’s why I’m looking forward to go back soon).

We stayed in the Tavern Room and had a fantastic time! The room was lovely, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we had so much fun exploring the area. Our dogs enjoyed it just as much as we did. Highly recommend!
