We had an amazing stay in Shaun's cottage this weekend. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and had a wonderful time. The cottage was everything we hoped for and more. Lots of space inside, and so cosy. All the practical things that you need for a stay are provided . We visited Delamere forest and also Chester. Shaun was very helpful and so friendly. I highly recommend this property.

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

What a lovely cabin!! My partner & I took our dog and we loved it. 40 minute drive to Delamere forest which was great. The cabin was so homely, cosy & warm. Heats up quickly and the outdoor space was great. We’ve had the best time, the surroundings were so peaceful & the park itself is well maintained. We will 100% be recommending to friends & family. Thank you🥰

Heather's cabin was absolutely perfect. It was spacious yet cosy and we felt very comfortable there during our stay. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the whole place was spotless. As in the listing description for the cabin, there is no WiFi and minimal service on your mobile. Making it the perfect way to switch off from the outside world. Despite what another review said, there is a TV but as there is no WiFi, there is no way to sign into NetfNetflix etc. Luckily, we didn't need that anyway, but just an FYI. Everything we needed was a short drive away. We ventured into Llangollen to canoe over the Aquaduct, which we would highly recommend. Heather's cabin is the perfect place to stay for this activity, if you mind a short drive there (15 minutes). Being able to use the sauna was an added bonus, something my husband and I enjoyed very much. Thank you Heather 😊

Really good host good communication and really good place to stay. Very handy to stay in if going to the airport. Safe and east to get in and out on check out. Worth the money

Gabby was a wonderful host. She communicated well and help with great local recommendations. The space was well laid out. there was plenty of common space for gathering and the bedrooms were secluded enough for a guest to get away when needed for some rest. There was no dryer in the space, just washer. Gabby did show us where the laundrette was (very short distance down the street), but plan accordingly if you need to do washing. We did live to wake up to watch the horses grazing through the window in the back of the main room. All in it is a lovely, peaceful property.

Was really well maintained and clean home, would stop again

We had an amazing weekend stay at Dunwood View! With a group of seven friends, it was wonderful to have both the space and privacy we needed. The house is beautifully renovated to a high standard and exceptionally well-equipped. Having eight single beds and a large dining table where we could all gather made our stay even more special. The cozy lounge provided the perfect spot to relax, while the spectacular views and fun games annex added to the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would definitely book again.
