Marco de Canaveses : locations de vacances adaptées aux enfants

We truly enjoyed our time relaxing at this scenic and historic place. Right along the river, attached to walking trails in a little park. Plenty of space and all the comforts of home. We spent a cool December evening here cozying up next to the fire and reading about the history of the region. The bridge/entrance dates back to roughly 1660-1740, incredible!

This was a dream vacation - we had just moved to Portugal and spent 2 weeks getting setup. We wanted a quiet week as a family to rest before school started. This place was perfect: perched on a mountainside in the middle of vines, the space was quiet, peaceful and beautifully designed and appointed. Paulo, the husband, is an architect who refurbishes vintage designer furniture. Teyna, the wife, is an amazing chef. Her breakfasts (included) we delicious and the dinners they offer in their adjoining restaurant and well crafted and tasty. Their place is pet friendly - we brought our dog, and they have a dog, two cats and two birds. We did outings to Porto, nearby Roman ruins, historic villages and swam in the rivers running through them. It was delightful.

The cottage is way nicer in real life than it looks in the pictures. It is spacious, well equipped and the location is absolutely stunning. Marilia was highly communicative throughout, gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival, and even left fresh veg and a lovely welcome pack. I recommend asking them to send the location to you directly before you travel as the one on Airbnb doesn't work.

Casa Escola at Dajas was wonderful. We stayed two nights with my parents and our dog and had a great time. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Breakfast buffet was great! Views and private pool were amazing and the house was very clean! I think it’s important to note that there are some steep steps inside the house and the pool doesn’t have steps down with now shallow end, so might not be suitable for some people or children. Also, they are building two new villas next to the house so during the week it might be noisy with construction. All in all would recommend we had a great time!

We loved our stay here. The house has three levels the entry level has two bedrooms and baths, the next level two more bedrooms and a bath, and the lower level the kitchen and living area, as well as access to the patio. We were traveling with friends and the various levels of the house allowed us space, while the lower level provided a cozy gathering spot for enjoying our time together. We loved the character of the place and incredible views of the Duoro River. The location also worked well for our explorations of the Duoro Valley. When we were there were some heavy storms, since the lower level is built into the stone there was some weeping of the walls, but it didn’t impact our ability to just enjoy the space. Despite the rain, we loved waking up and going out to the patio to enjoy the views. Fresh oranges from the garden offered us wonderful homemade juice. Definitely a place we would recommend to friends or family.

A Quinta da Lameira, foi uma das melhores quintas que encontramos nestes últimos 10 anos. Éramos um grupo de 6 adultos e 4 crianças e a quinta mostrou que tinha todas as potencialidades para uns dias bem passados. A casa é muito funcional, bem equipada e iluminada. A sala e cozinha, em open space, permitiu que todo o grupo estivesse em constante convívio e as crianças tinham espaço para brincar. A cozinha estava equipada com tudo o que precisamos. As 3 suites eram confortáveis e o quarto com beliches foi perfeito para as 4 crianças. Foi a primeira casa em que estivemos que tudo funcionou sem percalços, desde a água quente, aquecimento, o quadro elétrico. A parte exterior é muito agradável, mesmo sendo em dezembro, só não conseguirmos aproveitar a piscina. Mas mesmo assim o S. Pedro ajudou e, principalmente as crianças, conseguiram brincar no escorrega e na casinha de brinquedos. E conseguimos fazer churrasco. Acredito que uma estadia no verão nesta quinta seja incrível.

Super accueil, José a été très réactif et a été flexible sur les horaires. La maison était très propres avec tout le nécessaire. Je recommande.

Alles war perfekt. Die Quinta von Peter ist toll und eine Oase der Ruhe. Tolle Aussicht, schöne Vegetation, weitläufig… Peter ist sehr nett und war sehr flexibel mit dem Checkin und Checkout, obwohl wir viel später kamen, als angekündigt. In der Umgebung kann man toll wandern, essen und auch viel Kultur (z.B. Via Románica) erleben . Danke, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Appartement propre, idéal pour une famille avec deux enfants, avec une grande terrasse proposant une belle vue sur les montagnes. L'occasion de visiter la vallée du Douro, mais aussi Porto, Braga ou encore Guimaraes. Notre hôte Filomena a été amicale et très réactive, répondant à toutes nos questions.

Wij hebben echt een hele fijne tijd in het appartement van Paul gehad! Wij raden het 💯 % aan! Ons verblijf was eigenlijk véél te kort & wij willen zeker een keer terug komt. Voor wie een unieke ervaring zoekt buiten het massa toerisme om: hier ben je aan het juiste adres! In Paul’s huis wordt je van harte welkom geheten en voor even is het ook ‘jouw huis’ Een unieke ervaring van het Portugese leven in de Douro vallei. Ook de omgeving is prachtig, de mensen zijn aardig en alles is heel betaalbaar. We hopen ooit eens terug te keren in dit mooie Portugese paradijsje. 🫶

Un séjour super avec toutes les commodités à proximité tout en étant au calme dans l’appartement. Nous sommes restés une semaine avec notre fils de 1 an et tout était parfait. Merci également pour l’accueil et la disponibilité

Absolutely loved our stay at this magnificent Airbnb! The place is incredibly welcoming and serene, offering a stunning and restful view that made our vacation truly unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a beautiful setting. We'll definitely be back!

Mooi appartement met moderne voorzieningen, heel attente gastvrouw

Um apartamento muito agradável e bem localizado.

Nous avions ce désire, Fatima et Abel, et sa famille ont contribué à le réaliser en nous proposant leur logement d'une très belle qualité, typique, propre, d'une belle vue. La proximité centrale des principaux lieux de cette région du nord et centre du Portugal, sans oublier les belles plages très rafraîchissante, en fond un atout indéniable. L'ouverture et la communication de Fatima et Abel , nous a permis de sortir des lieux touristiques et d'aborder la vie Portugaise, sa gastronomie de l'intérieur. Un vrais délice pour notre fille et nous même ! Une belle invitation à revenir découvrir d'autres lieux au Portugal !

Espaço muito acolhedor e tudo muito limpo. Cama fantástica e duche também. Irei recomendar de certeza.

Эта квартира одна из лучших, где мы жили. Очень удобная и уютная. С огромным балконом вокруг всей квартиры. Много игрушек для ребёнка, симпатичный детский стульчик, стул-подставка в ванной, детские кровати. Отопление + ванна (не душевая кабина) - очень редкое и ценное сочетание для Португалии. И дополнительный бонус - это шторка в ванной, а не стеклянная дверь. Мы очень довольны. Спасибо Элизабете и её мужу Альберико. Они приятные, дружелюбные и заботливые хозяева

Superbe appartement, propre, spacieux et très bien agencé. Dispose de tout les équipements de confort pour passer d’excellentes vacances en famille. La cuisine est magnifique et semble avoir été remplacée récemment. Très bonne situation géographique, près des commerces et de l’accès à l’autoroutes. Merci à Cristina, Filipe et Catarina grâce à vous nous avons passé 2 très bonnes semaines de vacances dans la région de Porto. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Cdt
