What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Such a brilliant place- very clean, lovely hamper of breakfast bits left for us and obviously the hot tub! Quiet area, easy to get to Whitstable and Herne bay. Had a great time.

We had a wonderful family gathering at Tims’ place over xmas. Excellent location, close to Cranbrook and Tenterden. Comfortable sleeping for 12 adults. Loved the two downstairs double rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Great for elderly guests. Large well equipped kitchen for preparing meals. Great grounds with plenty of room for kids and dogs to run. Our 3 year old loved the trampoline. Log fired hot tub was fun but needed some attention to keep it up. Tim was responsive and his nearby staff were readily available to help. An excellent stay for large groups with young children and pets.

We loved our stay at the house. Our highlight of the stay was watching a movie on the massive projector screen and making use of the hot tub. Would thoroughly recommend.

Pauline was not only an exceptional host, responsive, friendly and warm, but her place was stunning. The location is beautiful and so peaceful. Watching the sunset over the fields from the hot tub was perfect! The cottage itself is a perfect size and just beautifully decorated and laid out. And Pauline has thought of everything. The little touches really made our stay. I can’t wait to come and stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria’s beautiful beach property! We were 4 adults with 4 children and it was perfect. Plenty to do in the area, we went to rye and camber sands. House has everything you need for cooking. Plenty of fridge and freezer space and double oven. Hot tub was very much appreciated once the children were in bed!! Highly recommended

we stayed in hut #2 on Aidan and Wendy's property. The introduction was great, we dealt with Aiden. A straight shooting gentleman, he explained the rules and general procedure to me and my partner before leaving us to ourselves. The property is well kept and tidy, there are security cameras all over the place (they are not aimed at the hut), for that peace of mind. we had a suprise visit from Aiden and Wendy's pup which was a pleasant suprise as our dog made a new friend. The huts are small so with two of us and a large dog it was pretty full but if you've read the description and pictures you'll know what your getting into. we really liked that cosy feel. Especially with the wood burning fire on. The back roads can be daunting to navigate if you are not familiar with country lanes but take it slow and you will be fine. It's worth the trip to Aiden and Wendy's sanctuary.

The place was beautiful; it matched the description, was very spacious and in a very peaceful location which served as a great base to explore the area. Nina was friendly with great communication and responded quickly to messages. There were very good supplies left for us on arrival including croissants, eggs and wine which were very well received!

We had an amazing time at Kish and Fiona’s place in Margate. Plenty of space for 6 people, the house felt homely and couldn’t have been in a better location for us! Would love to stay again!

Nice little house. Pleasant decor. Excellent modern kitchen. 4 minutes walk to Whitstable high street and the seafront, with lots of Cafes, Bars and restaurants. It is probably more suited to adults than kids.

I stayed at this property with 4 friends and it was perfect for what we needed- gorgeous property which looked exactly like the pictures and it was fully equipped for anything we needed and more. The property is a 5 min walk from the main town and also has a multi-storey car park a few mins walk away. There is plenty to see and do in Margate so we were torn between being out and staying in playing games at the big table with a fire on. I have already recommended this to others and hope I get to stay there again in the future.

Such a classy place right on the most beautiful street in Deal. We were there as a couple with our dog and loved it. We’d go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Moira!

A really lovely bolthole in stones throw of the beach, cosy and peaceful.

We rang in the New Year at Vivien’s beautiful home. The pictures don’t do it justice - it’s truly stunning and was a wonderful home base for our group of 11. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and we loved the main living area. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach, grocery store, restaurants and cafes. We’d love to come back some day.

Lovely place very clean and cozy. Hot tub was great also very clean. Love the little touches with the eggs and orange juice. Will book again in the summer when the pool is open thanks for our stay.

Nice stay! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, thoughtfully laid out, well equipped, and so close to great walks and heritage sites. The kids loved the indoor pool. The chalet is probably meant to be enjoyed best in warmer weather but Neil provided enough space heaters to keep warm. The electricity is run on coin meter- took about 6-7£ for 2 days in February, could probably get away with half of that in warmer months.

We loved staying at this property. We booked it as it was very close to the Kent Cookery School which we had booked for a belated Christmas present. The property was a quiet and peaceful escape for us for the weekend. The bed was really comfy, the lounge was warm and cosy ( even without the fire on) and the shower was great. Larissa has really thought about what clients need for a relaxing and carefree experience. The property has lots of added extras, there’s a lot of thought gone into this place. There’s also loads of helpful guides and tips for travelling around the area and where to visit. There is a lovely business park next door, walkable in less than 5 minutes with lovely shops and eateries. We could have easily stayed longer in this area. There is a hot tub in the grounds which was amazing. Watching the stars in the dark (no light pollution) whilst in a lovely warm hot tub, with a glass of fizz was fabulous. One of those life experiences that will always stay with you.

I must admit I was somewhat worried after booking and reading previous reviews but my worries were unfounded. the chalet was lovely and I didn't think it was dated. the kitchen had everything we needed, the chalet was homey and comfortable. There were extras like a clothes horse to hang wet towels and costumes, games, hand soaps and cream etc. My only slight niggle is that wifi isn't included. Regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lyn's chalet and would stay again!

We had a few nights at Rea’s chalet during February half term, 2 adults and 3 little children. The chalet was such a cosy place, facing the sea, treating us with the sound of the waves to drift off to sleep. The sunshine in the morning was such an uplifting view. We had a peaceful time, the location is amazing- short distance walk to the beach, and the holiday park has everything you need for young travellers like a heated swimming pool, a shop with emergency wipes etc. Also, the kids absolutely loved finding the kids books in the book case, and some bath toys. The playground was right there next to the chalet. We are very grateful to have had the chance to stay there. Please note if you travel with little ones in winter months, the chalet may be cold to start with as it is not a lived in property, and the check in is after 4 pm, so suggest to pack thick socks and a warm jumper. If it happens to you, don’t worry it, will warm up in a few hours!

Excellent stay - very large & spacious! The game room was a hit for adults & kids! The two kitchens were very useful too. Can't wait to come back in the summer and make the most of the large lawn & pool!

I booked to stay at the cottage for my husband's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The communication between myself and Tim & Maite was great. They were always responsive and super helpful. The photos of the house don't do it justice. It’s such a lovely area and although you may see the occasional walker in the distance, you feel like your'e in the middle of nowehere. The hot tub was a great addition to the property, especially since the pool at the house was not available due to it being out of season and super cold, as explained prior to our arrival. We ( and the kids) loved the house, loved the fire, loved the hot tub, loved the games, We played the family edition of Cards Against Humanity and it was just a lovely relaxing family weekend away without computer games - it was bliss. The perfect setting and in my husbands words - it was the perfect find! Thank you so much to Tim and Maite for such a wonderful stay.

Great house to spend time with friends for a 50th. Very close to Canterbury which has lots of great shops, bars and restaurants. Also close to Chapel down and a couple of stellar pub do lunch out dinner. The house was everything we needed it to be and the pool was perfect!
