The house was great. It is situated right on the West River. We say so many different birds including osprey, eagles, geese, ducks and many others. We could hear fish jumping in the evening and several stripped bass were caught and released.. We were fortunate to have clear skies for viewing a comet and shooting stars. The communication with Valerie was good.

I’ve stayed at Donalda’s many times. It’s my go to place while staying in Port Hawkesbury. The place is always pristine and a home away from home!

What a great view of the lake! The view is enjoyable in any season. Pellet stove is a lovely addition, and the hot tub with snow falling was wonderful.

We stayed with as a family of 4 for two nights - our 2 little girls loved the comfiness and coziness of Kelly's place - full of fluffy pillows, blankets, and lots of little places to snuggle in. There was a nice big kitchen to cook in, and the hot tub and pool were awesome. We would stay here again :)

Wow! Marina’s place was beyond amazing! It exceeded our expectations and was even more beautiful in person! It was the perfect location for us to unplug and truly enjoy our surroundings! Marina’s little touches and sweet items she left for our girls (ages 4 &6) were above and beyond anything we could have imagined! The house allowed us to be able to take day trips and come back to a relaxing and beautiful location! We definitely hope to come back to Nova Scotia and definitely will stay at her home again!

This was a great spot, close enough to New Glasgow for anything you might need and far enough away it felt like a getaway. Very clean and bright with a beautiful view. Kate was great with communication and we felt totally at home. Would love to come back and enjoy the spot again! Thanks Kate!

Good spot to stay for a work trip.

We were in town for our mothers funeral. This location was perfect as it was walking distance to the church, Pharmacy, and the grocery store. All of the siblings and their spouses had room, we loved the two great rooms and the doorway that allowed them to connect so we could all be together. Furniture was comfortable, beds, so comfortable and great night sleep was had by all.

We had a great stay! We visited with 4 adults, a baby and a dog and we had lots of space to hang out in the main area. Sherbrooke village is just minutes away. Very peaceful and quiet area. Definitely recommend :)

What a wonderful place to stay any time of year! This place is spectacular in the winter but must be even better in the summer. Easy to get to and the house binder has all the information you may need. We will be back.

Had a great stay over Valentine's weekend at this spot! We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen & den, the hot tub, and the beautiful frozen surroundings. If you're coming in winter, make sure your car is up to the task of scaling the hill on the way out. Winter tires are a must! I took a few attempts to get out, but Lisa was a huge help in getting us safely on our way.

Wonderful host and awesome place! Had one of the best NYE experience! Highly recommend. Gonna come back in summer for sure!
