You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s steps away from some of the best beach bars in Orient Bay. The house has a lovely deck on the 2nd floor with great views of the water and hills. Very peaceful. And there were some very thoughtful welcome amenities provided at checkin. Overall a great stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! La villa est superbe, très spacieuse, un cadre de vie vraiment idyllique et paisible, repos, farniente. Mais aussi à proximité sorties en soirée festives au top !! Très bons restaurants à prix raisonnable, essayez les "Lolos" (restaurants typiques cuisine créole) copieux et pas chers ! Les virées en bateau sur les îles (Pinel, Anguilla etc...) sont magiques, sable blanc et eau turquoise. Nos hôtesses, Valérie et Sarah sont formidables. Sarah est très réactive, d'une gentillesse rare, de bons conseils et aux petits soins si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit ! Nous recommandons la Villa Little Key à 100%. Merci infiniment Sarah ! Our stay at Isabelle’s place was absolutely amazing. The home is beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and offers breathtaking views. Everything in the house worked perfectly, and we didn’t experience a single inconvenience during our stay. We have staying in many different places on the island but this was by far our favorite and can’t wait to return.

Nina was a great host! She greeted us when we arrived to show us around and responded immediately to any questions we had during our stay. The villa itself was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. I also appreciated that it was cleaned every third day during our stay. The location of the house was great with a beautiful view from the backyard. We used the kayaks every day, and had so much fun kayaking to Pinel Island or just splashing around at the sandbar. I would definitely go back!

Villa 48 in Orient Bay is at a great location, a minute from the beach (you can hear the ocean), and close to restaurants (walking to a cluster of them in 10 minutes), and a short drive from a center for groceries, pharmacy and even shopping (less than 10 minutes of driving). The villa's manager Frederic is incredible, and provided us with what-to-do advice, translation help, where to find good bread (L'Express bakery), and cooking tips, and was instantly available whenever we had a question. We could not have asked for better service. The island is small, and returning on a Sunday from the house to the airport was a 25 minute drive (at an average speed of say 50 kmh). In general, the traffic around Orient bay was fine, whereas on busy weekdays the area around Simpson bay can be congested. If you can, get a small car, as parking and roads are narrow. We absolutely will come back and returning to NYC and the snow and chill was, how shall we put it, challenging.

We had a wonderful stay in St. Martin. The space was big enough for 8 adults, and the view from the pool deck was spectacular. Communication with Moune was so easy and she made sure we had everything we needed. The location was ideal and very close to many beaches and hikes. Others have mentioned that the dump is down the road, and there was some truck traffic, but it didn't bother us as we relaxed by the pool. The beds are firm, and be sure to bring some bug spray. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming little house. It is exactly as described and very well-maintained. It has the best-equipped kitchen of any rental property I've ever stayed in! Everything was very clean and all the machines (dishwasher, clothes washer, A/C) functioned very well. We found both beds very comfortable, although the springs were a bit squeaky on mine. We did not have any of the problems mentioned in other reviews, and both Alexandra and Moustapha were very quick to respond to what small issues we had. The house is in a great location: very near the beach and also near a number of shops, a grocery store, and some terrific restaurants. Given all the, we were amazed by how quiet it was. The small garden in back is a nice retreat at the end of the day.

Patricia’s villa is perfectly clean, with super comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Walk to the beach is about 5 mins, and about 20 mins along the beach to Orient Village and places to rent loungers. Super communicative, would absolutely return!

Joshua’s place was amazing! Our family of four had a wonderful time. Joshua was very responsive from checking in/out, answering questions and bringing us supplies. Our two young kids (5&8) spent everyday in the huge pool. By far the selling point of this place combined with the views! The house was beyond comfortable for our family for a week. Very easy to find once we got our bearings. The island is pretty small so we traveled around to various beaches which all offered something a little different. For the most part everyone speaks English on both sides of the island. Groceries were a little tough to come by at Super U on our first few days but everything was restocked a few days later. More American-ized groceries can be found on the Dutch side. Overall a great experience and would recommend!

You cannot beat Manu's place! Beautiful two-bedroom space that was so comfortable and had everything we could want -- including a private pool, which was perfect for evening swims. The location is incredible. It's just steps from Orient Bay Beach and has multiple options for groceries, restaurants, drinks, and desserts. We had the most wonderful time and would absolutely book with Manu again in the future!

We stayed for a week at SXM Lodge. The location in Cul-de-sac was great for exploring the French side of the island. We loved having coffee on the terrace and watching the birds and lizards going through their morning routine. The space was well appointed and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend! The local contact Chhaya is the best!

Located in a quiet neighborhood but walking distance to so many things. The place was perfect for us. Everything was very clean. The pool was so nice to have too! Highly recommend if you don’t want to do a resort stay but are still close to things.

We loved our stay at Dorothee’s home. Beautiful house in a stunning location. A few things would have made our stay even better. The light in the main toilet, the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms and the ice cube maker in the fridge did not work throughout our stay (and were not repaired despite our request). But these were all minor things and they did not take away from our fabulous stay.

Nice location with great views with option to kayak to Pinel Island. Shopping and beaches are not far and easy to get to with a car. The house is also very nice, comfortable, well appointed, with a beautiful outdoor seating area and pool. The person we primarily dealt with, Elisabeth was friendly and helpful as was Charles. The parking space is tight and Elisabeth was receptive to this feedback for future guests. The three of us that vacationed together agreed we would stay in the house again should we return.

La maison de Katia est superbe, et Katia est l hote ideal: tout est fait pour que l on se sente comme chez nous. La maison offre bien plus que ce qu il y est indique dans l annonce, l equipement cuisine, le barbecue, les prises anti moustique, des jeux de bains piscine, de la lessive etc..et l attention particuliere de Katia a notre arrivée avec des fruits frais de son jardin, de l eau du the et cafe .. on ne pouvait attendre mieux! La maison est aussi superbement située sur la baie orientale a 10mn a pied de la plage et des commerces. Un super choix de vacances! Merci Katia

We stayed at The Friendly Beach House in early May. It is a wonderful place with very modern amenities, clean and right on the beach. The location on the northeast part of the island makes it very quiet and private feeling, but it is easy to get to restaurants and more active parts of the island. The beach that the house is on is no swimming because of sea urchins, but a 5 min walk will get you to a nice beach where you can swim or you can use the pool right next to the house.

L'appartement de Véronique est impeccable, l'ameublement, la literie, les meubles et les électro-ménagers sont de très bonnes qualité. Il est très bien situé à Cul de Sac, toutes les plages du coin sont à proximité. J'ai passé un superbe séjour dans cet appartement, je le recommande très fortement sans hésitation.

For context, 5 stars for what I would expect at this price point $1200 USD for 5 nights in Feb (includes tax/fees). The villa has a well equipped kitchen, with nonstick pans in great condition, sharp knives, and ample cooking utensils. The Bosch appliances all seemed brand new and clean. It’s worth knowing that one bedroom and bath are entered separately from the exterior/patio and not from the main area of the home. There are no weird musky smells and plenty of clean towels. The main points where this place fell flat is with bedding (no top sheets or blankets throughout the home, only an empty duvet cover), the sagging mattresses, and couch (end of its life expectancy, uncomfortable and armrest are sunken in). The host is extremely kind, warm and welcoming. There is a darling, small but well equipped grocery/pastry shop a half block away. There are also two cute restaurants within walking distance. At the price point this property cannot be beat, esp w the privacy and pool.

Patricia and Bruno are the best hosts in our BnB experience. The communication was excellent!! The Villa was spotless and clearly well cared for. Updated, freshly painted, well-equipped kitchen, spacious exterior space and lovely, clean pool! Location is superior! Walk to beaches, restaurants and shops. A perfect vacation!!!
