The home is very lovely. It felt safe in the neighborhood. I failed to read information about a resident cat however, and I'm allergic to cats. The cat was not there at the time and thanks to the cleaning that preceded our stay, I did not have an allergic reaction. Thank you, Lisa

Had a lovely stay at Annette and Fred’s place - the location was great, the house was fully stocked and the hosts were extremely responsive when we had questions. Having a hot tub and gas fireplaces were an added bonus for spending the evenings admiring the views.

My Son an I did a 5 day stay. The place was very centrally located on the pacific coast. The place was very cozy, clean and comfortable with outstanding ocean views from everywhere in the cabin. Good parking for two vehicles. Weather was so so, but did not hindered us a bit. We hiked at Muir Woods, the overlook and the beach all within 5 minutes away. We were able to go to San Francisco multiple times 35 minutes to do half day lunches or dinners and Sausalito 20 minutes. Yeshi was very responsive when we communicated, but really needed little assistance. The home is older and very charming. It reminded me of my own house growing up. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this home. The area was great and near everything and the street was nice and quiet for the area. The home was immaculate, the care to maintain this home is obvious! Next time we are in San Francisco, this will be our first choice for lodging.

Nancy's place was beautiful and perfect for a family vacation! She was very communicative, providing recommendations for local eats, and very responsive whenever we needed help with anything. Her home is very comfortable with lots of amenities (tea, coffee, snacks, water bottles) and a fully stocked kitchen. The home is in a peaceful neighborhood and nearby to lots of restaurants. A wonderful stay overall!

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful garden, responsive host, ample street parking. Definitely worth the price. Plus there's a hot tub you can use after the end of a long day or before the start of one like how we used. MINUTES away from bars, restaurants, and shopping in Oakland. Great location. I'm tempted to only say horrible lies about this place, because I want to keep this gem all to myself. But I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this place. The location was gorgeous, the interior design was beautiful, and the hot tub in the middle of the redwoods was just the cherry on top.

This Berkeley hideaway is tucked into a wooded neighborhood, providing a restful and quiet space to relax. It is still close to Berkeley for entertainment and hiking, and Tilden Park and the wonderful botanical gardens are just 6 minutes from this location. It certainly is a place we'd enjoy visiting again.

overall we really liked ramils place. it is very spacious and we loved sitting out on the front porch while the kids enjoyed drawing with chalk on the sidewalk. it was in walking distance to lots of great things including a great little coffee shop (lazy bird) and a playground. they had lots of amenities for people with kids including a stroller for us to use for longer walks. parking was really easy. the kitchen is huge and was a nice place to drink our coffee while the kids ate breakfast. kitchen was decently stocked but we ate out most nights. the only downside was the noise from upstairs. towards the end we were used to it but the first few days it woke us up/surprised us and felt very bothersome. however, I think we would stay here again despite that (and I'm sure we were plenty loud downstairs too). ideally there would be no upstairs noise but for the size, comfort and cost of this Airbnb I'd say it's worth it.

I enjoyed my time at Audrey’s place. They are centrally located and the backyard is a beautiful place to work or unwind. Audrey, Jordie, and the pups were very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend their place for any guest visiting Oakland.

This house is an absolute gem! It’s so cool, fantastic environment, beautifully decorated with everything you’ll need. It’s smack in the middle of amazing redwood trees, walkable to town and close to so many activities. The hosts are equally great, so friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Our kids are already asking when we can go back!

We had a great stay! Cynthia was very responsive and helpful before and throughout the stay. We had plenty of information about the house, what was needed from us, and the house was stocked with everything we could need. The location is amazing! Very easy to walk to the beach, and we loved the feature of the warm water shower at the home to clean up before entering.

This Airbnb is special. It felt like staying with family friends. Lots of character and the garden is a gem. Sara really opens up her home to you - feels like the way Airbnb used to be. And Sara is an amazing host. You're also steps from the Haight and Buena Vista park.

Staying in Kathleen’s bungalow is always a special treat. It is well-maintained, exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished and decorated. Kathleen herself lives close by and she is a very kind and responsive host. I highly recommend both her and her cozy bungalow when visiting Fairfax and the surrounding area. – Leslie

It was the perfect place for our family to gather over the holidays. Cozy but spacious with that back cottage providing a separate space for separate couple.

This home lives up to its listing of “Sweeping views and heated pool.” It’s a great place for a large family to spend quality time together. We were in town for the wedding of one of our sons, and it was very convenient to the venue. We appreciated Becky’s availability to answer questions as well as the use of the well-equipped kitchen and the outdoor grill. The grandkids really enjoyed the pool!!

Needed a place for a few days… and fell in LOVE with this hidden gem!!! Amazing hosts- Lori& Mike are the best! They are friendly , helpful and inviting- while simultaneously giving privacy and space. Not to mention all of the amazing work they are doing in and for the community- check out their bio!! The accommodations were beautiful, peaceful and intentional. And CLEAN!! Every space well curated. Home felt like a hug- and was filled with treasures! Looking forward to a return trip!! My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

The Life House is an amazing property. Our small team came into town for a few conferences and Life House was a perfect place to lay our heads each night. Highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fun, open, inspiring space. Marky was a great host. He made sure everything was ready and quickly responded to any questions we had.

Leonid and Meytal's place was the perfect spot for our family (which includes a toddler and fur child as well). The location was great for visiting the city as well as several friends around the Bay Area. It's also located near a nice trail which was walking distance to a playground (score). Super communicative and also we are very grateful to have a local contact (our family member locked us out of the Airbnb, aghh) who was able to give us a spare key. The only thing is there is no microwave (but we got by just fine). Definitely recommend if you're looking for a Bay Area place for a visit.

This house made our Thanksgiving holiday truly special. The interior boasts a relaxing and aesthetically pleasing design, while the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The layout is ideal, offering multiple sitting areas and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was the best-equipped of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, making it easy to prepare a full Thanksgiving feast. We connected our computers to the main flat-screen TV for movies, group crosswords, and other online games. My grandson was thoroughly entertained by the many toys provided, which was a delightful bonus. Both large tables—one for dining and one for activities—were perfect for our needs. If I could give this house six stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommended!

Exceptional hilltop home! Highly recommend. Full wall of windows offers stunning views, and living room and kitchen are flooded with natural light. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed throughout. Entire home has a designer touch. Well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, furniture and beds very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the fragrant, well-maintained spring garden, with numerous blooming daffodils and hyacinths. Walking paths throughout. Geraldine was responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants that proved spot-on. Geraldine has clearly put careful thought into creating a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting
