Otter Springs is truly one of a kind! The house is immaculate and has many essentials to help make your stay even better. Everything is clean and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. The outside is incredibly beautiful, private and spacious. The dock has newly updated stairs leading to the river making it easy to get in and out of kayaks & paddle boards. Nature is of abundance here as you can see several species of birds hunting for fish. We saw deer in the neighborhood. One of our highlights of the trip was being able to paddle with a family of otters for days as they played. It was magical! The kids loved having their own space in the separate house. We all spent all day on the water exploring upstream the cypress forests. It’s so peaceful to allow the river to float you back down stream to the house. You don’t even have to paddle! The water is crystal clear and refreshing. This house is a hidden gem and we absolutely cannot wait to book again!

Andres house worked extremely well for our family. We appreciated the heated pool which everyone used a lot and enjoyed. We also appreciated the spacious laneway as we had several large vehicles to park. The house was spacious and clean and the pool table and corn hole was used frequently. I walked every morning and was always greeted by very friendly neighbours and all vehicles that passed by waved. We used the kayaks on 2 occasions dropping off at KP hole both times. Andres was very responsive if we had any questions. I would highly recommend this home, thanks Andres!

Have not ever encountered a more wonderful host! The home was very large and comfortable. The host provided fishing tackle, a canoe, paddle boards, and kayaks. Everything was wonderful!!

The house was great and spacious. Perfect for our Rainbow Springs getaway. The only thing that was a bit deceiving was the fact that the river access was a 15-20 minute walk from the house itself. The pictures made it look like the river access was in the backyard, which is what I was expecting. Other than that it was a perfect location to visit Rainbow Springs State Park. And then the next day, we drove about an hour to Silver Springs State Park, which was absolutely beautiful and worth the drive. FYI - Rainbow Springs you can swim, but Silver Spring you can't. The house was very clean and peaceful. A great place to book if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city!

This was a great place to spend a weekend away. It was great to just sit in the backyard and watch things happening on the lake. It was clean and well stocked with amenities.

We really enjoyed our stay on the river. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the view from back room was amazing.

We had such a marvelous time at camp collop. What. Magical place. Everything was so very well maintained and well stocked house with All the amenities you would need to enjoy your time on the water. The access to the river was perfect. The kids enjoyed the rope swing and we enjoyed the convenience of paddling and being able to come back to the home easily without having to go to the parks or stand in lines etc. the town of dunnellon had so many amenities so close to the house...dinner each night was less than 10min from the house. Everyone in my family said this was one of the best vacations they had gone on ...the peacefulness of this home and location transmitted a beautiful sense of magic. We all want to come back soon. This was worth it...you won't go wrong staying here and enjoying all the amenities this place has.

Chimera on the Rainbow River was a magical location for my family during Christmas. Just waking up and seeing the mist on the river while enjoying our morning coffee on the dock was amazing! The simple pleasures in the abundance of birds and wildlife was such a gift! The house has everything you need from top to bottom. A nicely equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy a Christmas dinner together. We loved the game room with shuffle board! It gave me all the best nostalgia playing frogger and pac-man and donkey kong on the arcade machine! Being able to use the kayaks to paddle up and down the exquisite Rainbow River was convenient and memorable: we weren’t the only ones paddling while wearing Santa hats, lol! This is truly a special place, and Hal’s communication was above and beyond expectations. You can easily tell he and Sandy want to make sure guests have the absolute best experience.

Absolutely loved our stay at Laurie's. It felt safe and was beautifully secluded yet easy to find. Close to endless outdoor activities. This place had everything you might need and more. It was well stocked with all the little things you don't think of. Will definately recomend to others and return myself.

We had an amazing time at Kelly’s house! Short ride to Rainbow Springs and KP Hole. Very close to an amazing restaurant called swampy’s as well as other places to get breakfast or lunch. The house was perfect. Comfy beds, very clean and had everything we needed. All around a perfect experience!

Great central location for us to explore natural Florida!

This cabin is just adorable! Perfect location for a quiet weekend getaway. Between the beach, porch, kayaks, and fire pit there is plenty for the entire family. Getting there is a little off the beaten path and I’m glad the way in was mentioned by our host before our arrival. It relieved the stress of thinking we were in the wrong place! House was very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again!!

We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 dogs. It was nice having a fenced in area for them. Would definitely recommend!

We were looking for a relaxing mini vacation and had a great time. We felt right at home and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets at night. Marjorie was a great host and her communication was top notch! The place was well kept and very clean. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Leslie was very responsive. The setting is private and the covered deck on rainy days wonderful to relax on. Leslie provided much appreciated extras like healthier cooking pans, sharp knives, a cutting board, and a medicine kit which are not usually provided in my years of experience. A word of caution apparently regarding airbnb policy. Check for potential price changes on your reservation Even IF you are subtracting something!!! Because I didn’t end up taking my dog with (deleting the pet fee), it changed my reservation and a $142.20 increase (county tax fee) was added! 😱

Lisa was a great host. She was extremely communicative and had plenty of details for us. This house is extremely well cared for and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. We were able to use the canoe and kayaks to paddle around the lake. We even caught a few fish! If you're looking for a place in the Salt Springs area, THIS. IS. IT!!!

Very nice home, located within 20 minutes to the springs, hiking, and restaurants. We loved the seclusion, the home’s architecture, and the detached BBQ screened-in shelter. The large backyard is great for the activities they provide (cornhole, mini soccer, and tree swinging). We were there in the summer but the water level in the back was too shallow to launch the canoes but that’s no problem with tons of local kayaking options. The house is on a 12-minute drive dirt road that can be difficult to find at night. Also, the house does not have any cell reception but the house has ok WiFi speeds to stream movies and use FaceTime (voice); that’s the price to be in seclusion, peace, and nature. Check in and out were a breeze and the indoor amenities are nice. We recommend this home for a nice getaway.

Tonya was an excellent host. She had everything arranged for our arrival and met us at the entrance to the resort. Tonya was easily accessible by phone for questions. She was quick to respond when we needed replacement of supplies . She is a very friendly and welcoming host. The cabin was incredibly cute and had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to returning !
