Marion County : locations de vacances

We had 4 generations stay at Patrick's house. It was a great place for kids, fenced backyard with playground equipment, basement with pool table for the young at heart. Patrick surprised us with a carefully decorated Christmas tree for us to gather around to celebrate. There was plenty of room to gather or spread apart.

There is only one way to describe this home. WOW! We rented the home but not the apartments in back. The location is excellent, as we were traveling back and forth to a wedding reception and church which was only 2 miles away in downtown Indianapolis. Having a bathroom in every bedroom was amazing but the décor was over the top beautiful. It was easy to host a family and everyone felt ‘special’ in every room of the home. We did not do much cooking in the kitchen so I can’t comment on that area. We used the big dining room table for games and talking. All areas were clean; lots of extra pillows, sheets, towels, and even… tubes of toothpaste. The neighbors were quite friendly. Parking looked like it would be ‘tight’ on the street but it was not. Mina was responsive and she made check-in easy; we felt welcomed! Thank you!

This house was a great spot for our eclipse watching! There was plenty of seating and beds, as well as everything you’d need in the kitchen with the bonus of cute decor. Tyler was more than helpful in multiple ways before we were there and after arriving. If you’re looking for a place with ample space, it’ll fit the bill!

Plenty of mention already in other reviews about the house being a little older, loud creaky floors/stairs, no dedicated parking space. But these were nonissues for us. Wonderful home. Love the decor. Parking was never a problem. So much attention to detail from the hosts. Very professional and responsive. Full candidness here. The train and its loud horn are about 30 yards away from your pillow when it passes by. It’s so loud, felt like the train was about to run you over. Granted, the horn only lasts for 5-10 seconds, but it happens at 7-7:30 am. And for us, it happened 4 out of the 7 days we were there. White noise machines are provided but didn’t seem to help. I don’t mean to be overly negative about this, it may only be a minor or nonexistent issue to others. Everything within hosts control was fantastic and I would highly recommend using them. But for me, I can’t stay at this location again. I hope this host has other listings so I can use them again in future Indy trips.

A lovely, homey cabin on a beautiful property! While we didn't get to fully enjoy the pond because of the chilly weather, we appreciated the view. The entire property was clean and well taken care of. We felt very safe, which was important for three ladies traveling alone. Mike was easy to reach out to for help when we had a mishap with the fireplace. A very welcoming host who goes above and beyond with Midwestern hospitality. You will not be disappointed!

Ashley was such a great hostess! I loved her space and it was PERFECT for what I needed on my trip. I will definitely stay again and have already recommended this location to my other family members that I know visit the area as well. Thank you Ashley for a wonderful visit!

We were in town for an event so the location was really convenient. Having a garage to park in was very nice! We had a good stay. The bed was not quite as comfortable as I would hope but it was newer and clean so that is what we appreciate most!

Super clean and beautiful space! It is close to an active railroad tract, however did not bother my parents or my daughter and I one bit! I would come back and stay here anytime I’m back in Indie! Such a beautiful space!
