We’ve been staying here for the last 3 years and it’s been wonderful. It feels like our own place. The host response quickly with any questions we have had. If you’re looking for nice clean place, peace, and quiet this is the place to stay! Can’t wait to go back!

The Turkey Farmhouse was more spacious than I expected. Everything was well stocked--dishes and utensils, towels, board games. There were also spaces to sit quietly separate from the main areas in the house. As a Gen Xer, I really enjoyed the arcade games as well.

Amazing place! The house had a lot of history but plenty of sleep space for our family. The Land was breathtaking! We will be back!

Great spot close to downtown and the university. This house is quiet and spacious with a well stocked kitchen and great yard for the dogs. The screened in porch offers a great spot to hang out as well. Sydney was very responsive and communicated well before our stay as well as with quick questions through our stay.

We loved staying here. Our hosts are beyond kind and very responsive. There are small things that make the place feel like home, such as kids toys and crayons for families, great kitchen appliances, super comfy towels, and seasonal decor. The bed was comfortable. We had a small issue on arrival, but Kristofer fixed it right away and with graciousness. Super responsive and willing to go above and beyond. Highly recommend for anyone traveling in the region. My family would stay again.

This place is adorable! The instructions were very clear, getting in was a breeze, and I felt right at home. Very nice shower! We thought the kitchen decor was reminiscent of a 50s diner. It was great vibes. David was a very friendly host. The house was clean. Overall better than any hotel I could've possibly booked. Would be a great place to bring kids and/or a dog because of that beautiful yard as well. I especially loved the counter space in the bathroom. Made it very easy to do my hair and makeup!

Fun rockstar vibe - my wife said she felt like we were staying in the Hollywood Hills. Place as described, very reasonably priced, would stay here again!

This home exactly what we were hoping for! Great kitchen and plenty of space to gather with family. Comfy beds!!! Brenda was so nice and super helpful, and really went out of her way to make sure our family felt at home. We’ll stay here again on our next visit, for sure!

The perfect place for a peaceful weekend getaway! I really enjoyed walking through the woods, playing fetch with their sweet pup, and soaking in the hot tub after hiking in the nearby Shawnee National Forest. Kevin was super helpful and responsive. I would love to come back sometime!

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

Beautiful and extra clean! My favorite airbnb so far. It would be a wonderful summer vacation place for families to enjoy all the amenities such as fishing pond and pool. And close enough to Shawnee National Forest and Marion for different adventures.

We really enjoyed it here. The kids had fun in the hot tub, fishing and watching movies. We enjoyed the peaceful campfire and cooking under the stars. We would definitely visit again.

Kevin's property was perfect. He and his family were very responsive and helpful when we needed some assistance with the RV. We came in late our first night but with Kevin's instructions had no problem finding the spot. the location is very peaceful. We wanted to do some hikes and see fall foliage and Kevin's place was a perfect base camp. We will definitely be back. I'm already shopping the idea with a few other families to find a weekend when we can rent all 3 RVs!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, family and dog friendly, design focused place to stay, this is your spot. The garden was incredible with spring ephemerals and flowering cherry blossoms blowing in the wind. This was the perfect home base for exploring wineries and the Shawnee National Forest. The loft was the perfect spot to set up our young toddler’s pack-n-play, though fair warning that there is little sound insulation from the kitchen and main living to the upstairs while your little one is sleeping. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this glorious pool house again with our babe in tow! 10/10

Kristine’s house was just as described. The space was great for gathering together to visit and relax. The pool was a great bonus! We would definitely choose this property again when staying in the area.

A perfect multiple pet friendly place to stay in a small town close to both Carbondale & Giant City Lodge… great for a two night stay to get some local cycling in & dinners out at the GC Lodge & lots of options near the college campus. Appreciated all the extras for our dogs, as well as the use of a 2 car garage & washer/dryer… FYI the mattresses are extra firm, which I liked… while my wife was so so on. Would definitely stay again if travel back this way for more riding w/pets. The host is a super fast & friendly communicator… thanks again Anita.

This is a truly magical location that offers a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. It's easy to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature right on the property through forest bathing, and it's also conveniently located near state parks, as well as various food and drink options. Bonnie and Paul have created a stunning, private space where I felt completely safe as a solo traveler, knowing they lived nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return in the future.

Very comfortable place for us to spend time in Central Illinois and visit lots of family in surrounding towns.

Victoria is a gem and this place is so special! My family is from Southern Illinois but we mostly all live scattered across the country now. We came together for a funeral and needed to be together for feeling the family support joy and love that our family has always had. This house provided us with exactly what we needed. Plenty of shared space with comfortable seating, privacy in each guest room along with private bathrooms in each room. Gorgeous wrap around porch overlooking the pound! Absolute perfection. A must if coming to Southern Illinois! And Victoria is 4 minutes away if there’s anything you have a question about or need. We enjoyed it sooooo much we plan to rebook for future holiday celebrations together! Truly holds a very special memory for my family now. Thank you!

Teresa was very accommodating during a very difficult week for me and my daughter. She called and advised us where to go in the event of a tornado, asked if we needed more supplies. Thank you for a very nice week.

The cabin was clean, secluded and very peaceful. We will stay there again when visiting family. Thank you Tom for a nice stay!

This was my 2nd extended stay at this home. Host is very responsive. It is a quick walk to the Riverwalk or the casino if you want. I stayed with my dog and appreciated the fenced in yard.

Had a nice stay at Nikki's cabin with a family for a spring break. We all enjoyed the peaceful surroundings in the wooded area. So close to many lakes and trails! Nikki's place had everything we needed as well as fully equipped kitchen. A snack bar and a coffee was nice extras! We loved wooded detail and spacious south facing patio/porch. Nikki was a caring host and proactive communicator. Thank you for a great stay.
