The house was amazing! Location and views were to die for. She was also so quick and responsive when I had a question for her about locating something in the house. Felt like home!

Ligar Bay is a fantastic spot, the changing tides provide so much diversity and interest - we kayaked, paddle boarded, walked and swam in the bay and at surrounding beaches and tracks. The house itself is very clean, with beautiful outlook and the garden is lovely. Furnishings and linen are very stylish and beds were comfortable. We found the lack of curtains/blinds a little challenging - there’s a skylight without a blind directly above master bed, one bedroom has no blind and the other had sheers, which provide privacy but no light. We love our sleep in holiday! We also missed having a dishwasher - some wouldn’t care. We appreciated all the pantry staples, great indoor and outdoor showers and water toys available for guests to use. A stunning place!

This place was absolutely fantastic, our host had thought of everything. Extremely clean, comfortable convenient location. I would highly recommend staying here.

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

A wonderfully unique property in a beautiful location. We had a brilliant stay with our family at this homely and picturesque spot. There were great places to eat and drink within walking distance too. We would love to return one day!

We enjoyed our stay here. The view is incredible and we loved being able to access the waterfront and use of the kayaks. Margaret was so nice and was always quick to respond to any messages. The property matched the description and photos.

River Road Retreat was a delight to stay at, and Peter and Rebecca lovely hosts. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a gorgeous setting surrounded by fields, and with stunning views to the hills in the distance. We loved the welcome bottle of wine and yummy nibbles, as well as the delicious breakfast served every morning. The air is fresh and clean, the water absolutely pure, and after three days we’ve returned home refreshed and reenergised. Wonderful!! Big thanks from us!!!

What an amazing place to stay!!!! The sliding glass doors, which open fully to being in all the best that Ligar Bay holds, were a terrific part of the feel of the hike. Then, there is the enormous deck with chairs to relax in. The kitchen was well stocked, and overall just a wonderful place to stay. Easy walk down to the beach!

This was our second year in a row staying at Lesley’s place for almost a month, and we’ve already booked for next year. There is an extraordinary peacefulness there; incredible natural light and views; multiple places inside and out to sit and read; sheep that eat right out of our hands; and delightful hosts with whom we shared an enjoyable wine and cheese evening. What more could you ask for?

We had a great time in Mapua. John and Kim were absolutely lovely and gave us very good recommendations for activities. For example we could use their bikes to go to Rabbit Island. We also had fun using their canoe. The wharf with bars and restaurants is only a short walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a very comfortable place to stay, with good beds for once! The view is great and we would have stayed longer if we weren't headed out to hike. Also, my kids are now older but there are amenities and childproofing for little kids - a nice touch!

David was a lovely host. We had everything we needed and there were extras such as a bottle of wine, a couple of beers that my husband appreciated after our drive. There were crackers, and breakfast goodies, YUM! The views were fantastic and it was a great base to see and do so much. It was also quiet and the bed was warm and comfy. Also a great place to just chill if you've had a busy year and you want to just gaze out at the views and recharge those batteries. Thank you David for a wonderful stay.

THE MOST PERFECT LOCATION AND HOSTS!!! Hi Jayne and William. I've had the most fantastic time at your beautiful cabin. The Kayak was special, to be out there alone was beautiful! Sorry I had to leave so quick, I couldn't chance missing the boat. I couldn't book last night as the service had closed. However, as I turned up this morning a boat was just about to leave and I've jumped on! I left a puncture plug on the side. It's for punctures that won't seal. Insert from the inside and snip the excess off. It has a sticky side (remove tape) and use a bit of rubber sealant for a perfect seal. Thank you so much. The best location I've stayed in (34 locations!) I hope to see you again.
