I booked this accommodation for our TV host and he absolutely loved the place. He couldn't stop sending pictures of the beautiful vista from the deck and loved the peaceful surroundings right on the water. Tamsin was extremely helpful with extra amenities and local recommendations and check in was easy.

An absolutely delightful place to stay. The view is to die for and the beach is very handy. Lauren’s house has everything you need. It’s comfortable and well equiped. It was clean and tidy and amenities as described. We loved our stay and wished we could’ve stayed longer.

If you have the opportunity to spend some time here, take it!! Without a doubt one of the most wonderful places I’ve been lucky enough to visit. The house is really comfortable and literally on the beach, everything you need, and the kayaks and sups are such a bonus. Beds were super comfortable, and the home was very clean and tidy. Nick is a fantastic host. 100% would recommend and would love to visit again one day if I can.

River Road Retreat was a delight to stay at, and Peter and Rebecca lovely hosts. The cottage is beautiful, clean and in a gorgeous setting surrounded by fields, and with stunning views to the hills in the distance. We loved the welcome bottle of wine and yummy nibbles, as well as the delicious breakfast served every morning. The air is fresh and clean, the water absolutely pure, and after three days we’ve returned home refreshed and reenergised. Wonderful!! Big thanks from us!!!

What an amazing place to stay!!!! The sliding glass doors, which open fully to being in all the best that Ligar Bay holds, were a terrific part of the feel of the hike. Then, there is the enormous deck with chairs to relax in. The kitchen was well stocked, and overall just a wonderful place to stay. Easy walk down to the beach!

This was our second year in a row staying at Lesley’s place for almost a month, and we’ve already booked for next year. There is an extraordinary peacefulness there; incredible natural light and views; multiple places inside and out to sit and read; sheep that eat right out of our hands; and delightful hosts with whom we shared an enjoyable wine and cheese evening. What more could you ask for?

We had a great time in Mapua. John and Kim were absolutely lovely and gave us very good recommendations for activities. For example we could use their bikes to go to Rabbit Island. We also had fun using their canoe. The wharf with bars and restaurants is only a short walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful spot and peaceful stay before catching the morning ferry. Kitchen is amazing and kayaks are a nice touch.

David was a lovely host. We had everything we needed and there were extras such as a bottle of wine, a couple of beers that my husband appreciated after our drive. There were crackers, and breakfast goodies, YUM! The views were fantastic and it was a great base to see and do so much. It was also quiet and the bed was warm and comfy. Also a great place to just chill if you've had a busy year and you want to just gaze out at the views and recharge those batteries. Thank you David for a wonderful stay.

Für uns war die Unterkunft perfekt, um am nächsten Morgen mit der Fähre, die nur 10 min entfernt ist, zu fahren. In der Unterkunft ist alles Nötige vorhanden. Sogar ein paar Willkommensgrüße wurden für uns bereitgestellt. Das Glas Wein haben wir dankend an dem direkt erreichbaren See am Abend genossen.

This stay was a highlight of my 5 weeks in the South Island. The views are even more gorgeous than I thought (left the curtains open on the second night to make sure I caught every minute of the sunrise), and that bed may be more comfortable than mine at home! Jayne is a fantastic host, super proactive to make sure I had a great stay. What a special place.

Beautiful hideout for getaway trip with partner or family. Remember to carry your own food for the whole duration of your stay. All amenities are as listed. Scotty the property manager & karen were incredibly helpful. There are phone network issues so keep that in mind

Nice chilled holiday at a good location

in einem Wort: Unglaublich 😍. Ein so schöner und zugleich ruhiger Ort, wo man in einem separaten Cabin seine Ruhe hat zu relaxen und sich vom Bett aus die Berge anzuschauen. Die beiden Sea und Karl waren sehr freundlich und ich durfte direkt die Babyziege mit Milch füttern die sie auf der Farm haben☺️. 10 min. Fahrt und ein kurzes Stück zu Fuß, erreicht man einen (meiner Meinung nach) der schönsten Strände die ich je sehen durfte. Ich würde immer wieder kommen.
