This was my second stay at Point of the Point, and every bit as magical as the first. Being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves is nothing short of therapeutic. It's dark, quiet, and moody sitting by the fire at night. Emily and Cole checked in to ensure we had everything we needed, and the check out list was totally reasonable. Such a special place full of warm and happy vibes. Stay and recharge!! Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with our first stay. The house was very spacious, had well stocked kitchen which made meal preparation very easy. Bedrooms were good size. House was even decorated for Christmas with a real tree. Loved all the little touches in the home.

We came up for a week long snowmobiling trip. The home is newer open concept. It had lots of space for the 7 of us. The upstairs has baseboard heating and the basement has floor heating. The garage as floor heating as well. We had three large trailers which was accommodating. The beds were a mix of firm-soft. The bed I slept in the basement was perfect for me. We had one hiccup with the shower head not functioning correctly, but she came and fixed it the next morning without hesitation. Would definitely consider staying again.

Private location in the woods with wonderful views, but close enough to downtown Marquette everything you want or need is 5-10 minutes away. Host is very responsive and offered great help with getting into the house which was just as pictured. Lots of room and very clean!! Will be back next year for sure!!

Such a great week at Hewitt House! So close to everything, yet private and quiet. House had literally everything that we needed- kitchen well stocked, lots of games for family to play, room to spread out, well maintained. This house checked all of our boxes. Hosts friendly and responsive! Would recommend 10/10!!

Our 1st time in UP… it will not be our last. This property has it all & is immaculate. The views, walkable distance to downtown Marquette & amenities at the property made it so easy to prepare a meal or find a great place nearby to eat. We loved the snow activities & can imagine that warmer temps would open up an array of outdoor living to enjoy on the deck & swing. The furnishings are gorgeous & every space was designed with so much thought! The amount of supplies provided was impressive. We loved local guide provided & it was easy to come & go during our stay. Thank you for sharing your amazing place w/ us, Susan! So many memories were made by our family of 4 & my kids certainly ensured we acted like a stimulus package for shops downtown! I am grateful there was laundry onsite so I could keep up while we were away…

Overall, I give Bob and Linda’s lodge 5/5. It was exactly what I was looking for: an authentic off-grid UP experience. It’s clean and homey, and Bob and Linda are top notch hosts, going out of their way to make your stay a good one. If you’re looking for a great off-grid experience, this is it. However, it may not be for everyone. For example, we visited in October, and we had to heat the lodge through fireplaces as there is no central heating. I personally enjoyed that but can imagine others not wanting to deal with it. The lodge has an open concept floor plan, and I recommend guests consider sleeping arrangements carefully. While there are a ton of beds, there are few doors, and most sleeping areas don’t have one. So it may not be the best if you have people going to bed or waking up at different times.

Great place to stay, bar next door has spectacular live music although you can hear it from the Airbnb. Great location, beautiful walking near the stream, clean home and perfectly simple.

We loved our stay with Eugenia so much that we extended an extra night. The space is just a short drive outside Marquette and close to all things nature. Eugenia was super kind and responded quickly to our questions. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved our stay at this beautiful Airbnb! It was so inviting and full of charm. We felt right at home. The location couldn't have been better. Wow! Brandi's place was amazing. If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay near Marquette, this is it. The apartment is MUCH larger than the photos suggest, with a spacious layout and two large bedrooms. The property is beautiful and we loved walking around the trails with our dog, who made friends with another pup on the property. The sauna (in the unit) and hot tub (right outside) were wonderful treats after our days of snowshoeing and cross country skiing. And an easy drive to town for breweries, etc. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s very remote and secluded, with beautiful nature all around. Would recommend.

We had a great stay at the Cedar Cabin! Everything was just as shown in the photos, but somehow even cuter and more homey. They’ve done a wonderful job of curating the space and I’m excited to see what comes next for the property. We’ll definitely be back with our puppies next time!

I almost didn’t want to give a review. Then I thought about lying and giving a bad review because I want to make sure this cabin does not get too popular!! But in the end, I couldn’t do it and just have to tell everybody how amazing this cabin is! It was absolutely perfect, quiet and secluded, but only 30 minutes away from Marquette. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and the sauna was an absolute delight.

Great host, the cinnamon bread is the best! Awesome secluded place in the woods, super quite and highly recommend it!

The space was spotless and beautiful. The scenery was GORGEOUS, the cabin was private and it wasn't too far to town.

This is a slice of heaven. The fall colors around the lake were breathtaking. Nice cabin, beautiful location, good host.

We were in the area for a teacher's conference and opted to stay at Aaron's in lieu of a hotel. We are very glad we did. Great place.

Perfect for a winter getaway! Snowy trails on site made for great cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Fireplace perfect for relaxing after long day on the trails.
