Teresa was very responsive and gave clear instructions. This was a last minute booking for us to visit family during the early spring. This is a country style home with a large kitchen which met our needs perfectly. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the water. Teresa was a great host and we have since discovered that she has another Airbnb on the water. When we come back in the summer months we may rent that house as she was a terrific host.

We enjoyed our stay in Eric’s cozy cabin! We were very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of five. And as luck would have it, the location also happened to be perfect for us since it seemed to be in the center of all the areas we wanted to explore. Eric is also a very friendly & communicative host. We would definitely come back & recommend to friends/family.

Lovely home in the woods on Lake Barkley. Even better than the description and photos. Beautifully rehabbed, large rooms, deck overlooking the lake. Host was highly responsive to messages and very helpful. I’ve already recommended this listing to friends!!

We enjoyed the open kitchen/den; we were able to have our group all together in 1 space. The house was spacious and updated. Plenty of parking and convenient to nearby restaurants. And best of all: a Lakeview from the screened in balcony.

What can I say…it was one of the best rentals we have stayed in. Absolutely beautiful views. Loved that we could use the boat dock. The boat launch is about a 2 min drive. All the little things such as games, books, chips, water, and coffee were such a nice touch. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. We all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We would stay here again.

Allison’s rental home was everything you want in a vacation home. Carefully appointed and meticulously organized, this home has it all. The view is amazing and the property is unmatched. Access to everything and privacy is perfect. The dock and ease of access to the lake as well as marina makes it all worth while. Highly recommend to anyone.

We loved our stay at Kentucky Deer Run. The house was immaculate with all the amenities needed for cooking meals. Our favorite part was the backyard where there was docks to go fishing and plenty of space for my kids/dogs to run around. Lastly, the owners were fantastic giving us a welcome basket and greeting us after arrival to check if we needed anything. I would highly recommend renting this home!

Perfect space to sleep and shower while spending the day outdoors.

We booked this location some time ago. Unfortunately we live in South Georgia and were hit very hard by hurricane Helene. We were without water and power for a week. All counties around us suffered even harder. The last thing on our minds was this trip, and we missed it. This wonderful group of people reached out to us and let us rebook for a few weeks later with no problem. I can’t begin to tell you how thankful and genuinely surprised I am by their kindness and graciousness. I will be making a trip here often.

beautiful home in a beautiful location. Dennis was super friendly and accommodating, the home was clean and well kept. We visit Murrary once a year and would definitely return there. next time I'm bring fishing gear to really take advantage of the location and everything it has to offer.

We loved staying at the resort, what a great place and wonderful management!! Rooms are so clean and pool is superb! Food was excellent!!!

This was our third trip to the quiet location located on small cove on Kentucky Lake. Beautify scenery overlooking the lake. Small lake house located on gravel drive = great spot to set up the Solo Stove and chill out. We made day trips to Land Between the Lakes, the Casey Jones distillery and rented a pontoon from the the nearby marina; but mostly relaxed by the fire pit overlooking the lake. Large screened in porch in case of a rain day. We were short on cleaning supplies upon arrival - the host responded quickly and supplies were provided in short order. We stock up in Paducah before arrival and prepare meals on site. There's always a nearby Dollar General if you forget something! Also nearby firewood for sale if that's your thing - $40 will get you through a fire every night for a week. We feel fortunate to have found this property and plan to visit as long as it is available!

Nice location, very quiet, clean. When we inquired about the lack of a toaster we were immediately taken care of. My husband was most appreciative. Wi-Fi worked great. People with mobility issues might find the toilet low and the shower a little difficult to get into. We have issues and made it ok. The dog loved the yard.

Eric went above & beyond for us. Unfortunately the area was riddled with tornadoes & Eric was quick to give us weather warnings, road conditions due to trees being down and even offered us a safe place to go to take cover. He was super accommodating, the camper was very clean, comfortable & peaceful. Plenty of room, a comfy bed, lots of hot water for a great shower after a day on the lake, cold A/C, and all the necessities. Despite conditions that was beyond any humans control, this was a great stay and we would stay again and again - and absolutely plan on it! Beautiful, safe area & the little baby deer that welcomed us back one night was an added bonus. I highly recommend! Thank you, Eric!

Brilliant host!

We had five family units consisting of children and grandchildren. It was a wonderful place for the family get together. Fishing and Kayaking was a good time. Everything you could possibly need was available, especially a fully stocked kitchen. Lots of wildlife to highlight the beautiful environment surrounding the home. The main hostess, Amanda, was extremely responsive and personable. Great long weekend.

We absolutely loved staying at this cottage. Perfect for our vacation. Close to the lake( right out the back door) and restaurants/amenities but also allowed us the privacy to rest and relax. Would definitely recommend this cottage when visiting the area.

Our host went out of their way to contact us in case we needed anything. I would recommend this airbnb to anyone that is planning a nearby vacation.
