What a fantastic stay we had! Lee was super helpful and patient when we needed to adjust the dates of our stay not once, but twice. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable, and the kitchen extremely well-equipped with everything we needed for self catering. It was great to have a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The projector in the lounge was a fabulous, fun addition (my 10 year old watched a lot of YouTube on it...) and it was great to have a regular TV in the kitchen too. Of course, the highlight for us was the hot tub and swim spa -- absolutely outstanding, lovely and warm on arrival (and again, spotlessly clean). Our kids are 12 and 10 and LOVED the swim spa pool. The hot tub is incredible, and my husband and I enjoyed that as the sun was setting (the lights around the garden fence are lovely). The variety of bubble/jet settings were great. Having Lidl, Aldi, and Iceland a 3 minute walk away was very handy, and the big Morrisons is just a few minutes' drive.

Was even better than the photos made it out to be. A few minor issues such as no curtains in the bedrooms but aside from that it was perfect. Great for big groups

Perfect location if you want to watch bungee jumps and why I booked in the first place! Nice and quiet and great communication. Loved the welcome snacks and added bonus for the travel toothbrushes and toothpaste as one of the kids forgot theirs. The pool was open and was a great bonus since the jump was cancelled, will rebook for sure.

Fantastic weekend was had with 11 adults and 2 dogs, everyone was very happy. The house was beautiful with everything you will need and more! The evenings in the garden were a dream. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Perfect location. Perfect house. Perfect host. I stayed in Orchard House with my husband, daughter, son in law and two grandchildren aged 12 and 14. The host was so kind and had left milk, bread and a home made loaf for us. One morning we found a bowl of peaches from her garden on our doorstep. Jacqueline is nice and friendly and is available if you need to know anything. We loved everything about the house. Plenty room for us all. Great sized living room. Kitchen come dining room was ideal as were the 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The appliances are new and of the highest quality. Also made use of the log fire when we returned at night. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and table tennis. These activities were such an added bonus. A quiet peaceful location close to so many beautiful villages. Visited Thornton-le-Dale, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Filey, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, and went on the NYMR steam train from Pickering to Whitby.

We had a magical stay at Apple Cottage. The garden, glass house, chickens and ducks were a cottage life fantasy, we did not want to leave! The pool was amazing. The local area was pretty and we would definitely recommend a trip to Thornton-Le-Dale.

Beautiful house in a lovely location views are fabulous. It had everything we needed, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back. Loved every minute.

Really enjoyable few days on the East coast. Lovely cottage, exactly as described with great touches, particularly the trampoline!! I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a well placed cottage in the Whitby area

Fantastic little bungalow on the outskirts of Whitby. Great views, clean, quiet, comfy with the hidden little extras that were found in the fridge. Excellent communication, very detailed instructions, things to do in Whitby, where to eat etc Definitely would recommend and hope to come back soon . Big thank you Michael

Good accommodation - easy access to visit interesting places in the North East

Exceptional victorian town house, very clean and fully equipped. Sarah was very responsive throughout and helpful.

Lovely few days in a gorgeous cottage in beautiful surroundings on the edge of Whitby. It was so peaceful even though we were in walking distance of town (& close enough to drive to pick up fish n chips from Trenchers - highly recommended). The cottage was just as described and Lorna’s instructions and directions were perfect.

We stayed at Virginia House as it was close to a local wedding venue. The house was lovely, very homely, modern but with lots of character and very well appointed with everything we could have possibly wanted. It was perfect for our adult family getting ready for the wedding and relaxing the day after. We had a refreshing walk and then a delicious meal at the local pub and the locals were all very friendly. We would all recommend Karen’s property and would love to stay again.

Ideal location for us to be able to visit family who have recently moved to the area. Also a great location to visit many local attractions. The house was clean, warm and cosy, and we have enjoyed staying so much we have booked to return in June.

This place was fantastic.. i recommend it, its a 5 star house. Clean, quite place, the kitchen is so nice and complete. Living room is so cosy and nice, bedrooms are perfect, bathrooms are clean ... I felt home .

For a single mum I found the place perfect the beach’s omg with real sand that is a must , this place amazing was a home from home but with loads of bench’s and felt like a Holiday also , the owner also amazing I made a little mistake and she was nothing but helpful kind and caring which as a single mum means the world when booking , I will be back for sure as my son and dogs loved the bench’s I loved the bath and cosy feel the place gave me , x

Great tidy place and value for money Location was excellent I had a great stay at Andy and Louise’s place. It was clean, tidy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The bed was comfy, the area was quiet, and the location was perfect – close to shops, restaurants, and main road in . It felt like a home away from home. Andy and Louise were friendly and helpful, with quick communication and smooth check-in. Excellent value for money for such a high standard of accommodation. I’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Beautiful comfortable place , we felt at home clean spacious and lovely surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay. Kendra was really helpful in recommending places to eat and visit. Only been home for a few hours and already missing the view from the front garden. I honestly could have just stayed and asked for a job on the farm! Will definitely be back. Helen is a delight and very helpful. The house has everything you need and lots of space. The kitchen was mine and the dog’s domain. It’s honestly a beautiful place. Quite off the beaten track so do use the what three words as it takes you straight there. I am already looking at return dates and may just come with me, myself and I…and the dogs of course. 😊

Samantha was a massive help in responding so quickly to our booking request! After our original accommodation with another provider got cancel on the check in day, Samantha saved the day. The accommodation was more than big enough for our group of 10 and had everything we needed. There was a coop shop just a quick walk away which was perfect for picking up some groceries. We had a great stay! Thank you!
