Lake Effect was the perfect place for our family vacation. The family enjoyed it, we spent most of our time on the dock enjoying the lake and weather, which was amazing. Since I had to work a couple of hours a day before truly vacationing, the internet was somewhat an issue until I found out that if you are streaming on Samsung, the WiFi will be very in and out... so just don't turn on the TV until you are done with work or Streaming using the WiFi. Not sure also, it could have been Comcast, seeing that they have been having issues with their internet services throughout the state and Pa. We certainly were pleased and Paul and his wife were outstanding... We will be back. The Latchford's - Greg and Helen and Family

Great spot for our family vacation! Games downstairs were very fun and movie screen was great. Rick was easy to communicate with. Would recommend!

This was our second time staying here, and we loved it again! The house is in the perfect location and had everything we needed for a great holiday getaway. We felt very comfortable in this cozy home. Maureen is a very kind and responsive host.

Amazing cabin to rent out with a group of friends. I loved that I was less than 15 minutes from the state parks. Loved this place!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! With 7 bedrooms, it easily accommodated our group of 16, giving everyone plenty of space while still feeling cozy and inviting. The house has a charming, older character, but everything was comfortable. It truly felt like a home, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were responsive and helpful, and the location was great for our needs. We would absolutely stay here again!

The spacious layout provided plenty of room for everyone to relax, while the play options for the kids were an absolute delight—they had such a great time! It added so much joy to our trip, and we’ll always treasure the memories we made here. We hope to return someday!

Brandon was a great host, communicated very nicely and even gave notices regarding the hot tub so we’d have a nice time enjoying it. The house was clean and everything was accessible, definitely the perfect fit for two or three guests. Would recommend a thousand times over and would book over and over again!

We had a lovely time. The place was clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches like extra pillows. It combined the best of both worlds with shopping and restaurants in easy walking distance but was very quiet and peaceful because it was tucked at the end of the block on a dead end street with no buildings behind it. It was just perfect for us.

We were two families with four children—two young adults heading to college and two spirited middle schoolers—and every one of us, regardless of age, found joy and peace here. From the breathtaking natural surroundings to the simple pleasure of kayaking through calm waters, each moment felt like a gentle reset for the soul. What truly elevated the experience was our host, Shawn. More than just a “super host,” she embodied hospitality in its finest form. Her attention to detail, her care for comfort, and the thoughtful touches throughout the home surpassed even the details of a Hollywood studio setting !

We really enjoyed our stay at Greg and Pia's cabin. Private, quiet, and well equipped. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for our fishing trip! Check in and check out was a breeze.

Me encantó este alojamiento hermosa vista. Una casa rústica hermosa muy equipada con todo lo que te puedas imaginar. Cocina limpia y con muchas cosas que puedes ocupar igual el baño muy equipada con productos de cuidado personal por si olvidaste algo esta casa lo tiene. Es sorprendente como este alojamiento brinda cada detalle que puedas ocupar dentro y fuera del lugar. Muy limpio toallas y sábanas limpias. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y pienso volver me encantó

A wonderful place. Cozy and super well equipped. Robert was very responsive and communication was outstanding. This home had everything that a house needs, from batteries to cleaning products, soaps and everything in-between. Highly suggested.

Wonderful host—I felt right at home. Had conversation prior to arrival and felt like I knew her very well before arriving. The view was spectacular I could have just sat on the patio and watched the woods and water all day. Was there for a school reunion so I had other activities that I had scheduled. This was by far, the best Air B&B experience I have had. Fantastic host, comfortable, and stunning scenery. I am going to try and revisit soon.

Mike’s place was perfect for our stay. Close to the bus stop and within walking distance to everything we needed. It was perfect for our weekend away!

House is in one of the best spots for easy in and out of inlet access to beach, shopping, and restaurants. Gives you an extremely personal, and private way to thoroughly enjoy beach life environment. Doug was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Hospitality beyond expectations, which made the stay that much more enjoyable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront condo in Ocean City, MD! The 2-bedroom condo is oceanfront, and the views are breathtaking. The apartment is incredibly spacious, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need. We especially appreciated the beach chairs and accessories provided—such a nice touch for the summer season. The condo also has a laundry room, which was super convenient for storing bags out of the way. One of my favorite things about the condo was the gorgeous natural lighting that filled the space. It created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Kathryne, the host, was amazing—so kind and communicative throughout our stay. After we left, we realized my daughter had forgotten her beloved Jellycat plush toy in the condo. It was a sentimental gift, and she was heartbroken. Kathryne went above and beyond by mailing it back to us, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her kindness. I 100% recommend this condo for your stay!

The location was amazing with the pool and the waterfront. The grandkids loved fishing and swimming. Couple observations: The lawn service came when we were there but only mowed the lawn and did not mow around the pool. No edging or weeding was done in the landscaping Pool service came when we were there and was great Garbage pick up came and pulled all the way down the driveway which was great Bathrooms could use some love. Oven could also use some love I would recommend taking bottle water and ice if you have a large group. We made a few runs to the General Store and Safeway. All in all we would give it 5 stars. Great place to stay! We came down so I could run the Ocean City marathon and this was a great place to stay. The place was exactly as described, was spotless, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities if you wanted to prepare your own meals so that was very convenient. The beds were super comfortable and had very nice bedding on them. The location was close to the boardwalk and we were able to walk to most places. We will definitely keep this on our list of places to stay when we come to OC!

Shawn and Terri’s air bnb went above and beyond my expectations! We decided not to stay on the beach this year but I didn’t realize that we’d still be right on the bay! There’s a peer overlooking the ocean that was just a five minute walk away. Not only that, but the community itself was private, peaceful, and had everything you could ever need to stay busy! There were two pools, ball courts, and playgrounds all walking distance. The residents were kind and welcoming. Assateague beach was a five minute drive away and restaurants only a ten minute drive! The main strip of ocean city was super close. The air bnb itself was clean and beautifully decorated. There were extra blankets, amenities, my son loved the cards and coloring books! All in all this was the perfect place to stay.

We had a great weekend. Traci’s place was exactly what we needed.
