The house was very clean and the furnishings were extremely nice. We loved the back deck and the pond area. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Marnie and Brian's place exceeded our expectations and was even better than the pictures! It was quiet, clean, and had every amenity we could need. Marnie and Brian are the perfect examples of Airbnb hosts – they were very responsive and attentive throughout our stay. We will definitely be back! We did not have a single complaint. Their place was beautiful and dog-friendly, and our dogs loved it too. They even stocked the fridge with some necessities, and a grocery store was very close by just in case. Highly recommend!

Spent NYE here with 7 adults + 2 small dogs. We had an amazing time! Host had set up Christmas and NYE decorations and provided some NYE party things along with sweet treats, wine, and sparkling cider. Location was awesome with trails around the property. Lake was gorgeous. Size of cabin was perfect. It was cozy but enough space for everybody to hang out and feel comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked and appliances were easy to use. We cooked lots of really good food during our stay! Overall, it was exactly what we were looking for---a cozy cabin getaway with just the right amount of modern conveniences.

My colleagues and I stayed in Peoria for a conference being held at the Civic Center. Throughout our time there, Cara was a great host. Her communication was very friendly and very timely. She helped us feel right at home. I loved the secluded-in-the-woods feel of the place. If you love wildlife and prefer a more private environment, this is definitely the place! The inside was clean and neatly kept. Check in and check out directions were easy. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at this cottage. The house was pristine. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. The reason for our trip was unexpectedly a funeral and it was a lovely place to go and be while grieving a loved one. Peaceful, clean, quiet, close to family. Thank you!
