We immediately felt at home with the cozy and welcoming decor. The personal touches made it feel more like a family cottage than a rental which was a major plus! The kitchen had everything we needed - including condiments, baking items and spices. We cooked most of our meals at the cottage so we could maximize our beach time and watch every sunset. The grill was so clean we figured it was brand new. The cottage was clean and had lots of extra towels, pillows, linens and other essentials. Our only regret is that we didn’t book another week!

We loved staying on Vacation Lane! What a quiet, sweet little neighborhood right on the water. the beds were comfy and everything was clean and cozy. We especially loved putting our paddle boards in to Lake Hamlin and floating around, looking at fish and birds. Stix is really close and was our favorite place to eat. We'd love to come back again! Julie's place is worth every penny and then some. It was well stocked with extra pillows blankets, a hair dryer, shampoo, body wash and towels. The kitchen had spices, bakeware, a crockpot, blenders you name it, so don't worry bringing anything for your cooking needs. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. So many views of the lake from the different rooms. The small walk down the wooden steps to the lake is so worth it. The views and stars at night were absolutely breathtaking. It's a little daunting getting back to her house as it is one small lane, but doable. The driveway can be a little intimidating but with our jeep it wasn't too bad. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Love the Beach House. Always clean, tidy and Ben is wonderful to deal with. The rooms are located near the beach and downtown. If you need a room in Ludington this is the place!

Location is phenomenal. Literally a walk across the street to the beach. Half mile walk to pickleball courts. Quick drive or short walk to restaurants and downtown area. Rooms are as described and clean and quiet. Beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of hot water! Lots of extra floor space. Super convenient check-in and check-out thanks to proactive instructions with easy-to-use door code. Friendly staff on site. Only very minor downsides to my particular room/location on property were 1) windows faced pool area and street so no real privacy if you wanted to have the shades open (but didn't matter because we weren't in the room during the day much), 2) few random things like a lightbulb in one table lamp out, the tv not working, a few fruit flies hanging out in the bath/kitchen, and box spring covers looking worse for the wear. But none of these affected my stay or required alerting the staff. My guess is they would have been very responsive had I contacted them.

We had a nice night away. Room was very clean and bright. Would stay again.

Nice place to stay in downtown Ludington. Really easy to find from the State Park/Lighthouse area and very walkable to downtown shops and restaurants.

The Ludington Beach House was perfect for our trip, located across from the beach access and walking distance to downtown shops and eateries. Clean and comfortable, felt safe there with my family. Great communication with host. The pool and amenities look nice too - we didn't get to use them as we were at the beach! staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

The unit was perfect. The only thing was that finding the place was a little tricky. Finding the address was easy, but it was hard to find which cottage was yours. Otherwise everything was great!

This is a great spot - right across the street from the beach, breakwall, a mini-golf course, and skatepark! Short walk to downtown as well. Everything was clean and straight forward.

The perfect location for beach, biking, and shops. everything was exactly as described and Ben was very responsive to our questions. We only stayed one night, but we were happy to have chosen this location.

This was our family’s 27th year at Vacation Lane Resort and 11th year in the Swan & Dove cottages. We absolutely love the screened in porches and lovely view of Hamlin Lake. Betrice is quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating. The cottages were spotless when we checked in. Thanks for another great year!

This place was great! Everything was clean and as described. The pool was accessible and the location (across from the beach and just west of downtown) was perfect.

This place was very nice. Right across from the beach and walkable to downtown. It was very clean. So nice that they brought back an old motel into a nice place to stay. The bed was very comfortable and it was perfect for our one night stay. Would recommend.
