This is a wonderful place for two families to stay in adjacent spaces and enjoy both Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan. Wonderfully set up for young families (with playground equipment in the lane) and excellent water access. This was our second year and we plan to continue the tradition next year!

This was our family’s 27th year at Vacation Lane Resort and 11th year in the Swan & Dove cottages. We absolutely love the screened in porches and lovely view of Hamlin Lake. Betrice is quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating. The cottages were spotless when we checked in. Thanks for another great year!

This location is an absolute gem, beautiful and pristine, from home to panoramic views! This is a bucket list destination, with endless possibilities for family fun and lake activities! The breathtaking vistas and sunsets were beyond words. Our hosts were amazing and attentive, their home is both gorgeous and peaceful. The opportunity to stay here was truly a gift, and I would highly recommend it! This part of the lake is so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. We truly enjoyed lounging on the grassy knoll & dock, and enjoying the kayaks and SUPs. The lake is so pristine. This visit felt like a piece of heaven. Josh responded as needed (no complaints) This home was perfect for our family trip. Lots of room, bedrooms and bathrooms. It is in a very private location on the north side of the lake. The kids loved the trips to the sand dunes and fishing. We didn’t see a lot of boat traffic during our stay which was nice for casual rides on the lake. Sunsets are beautiful from the front porch. I think the dock should have a ladder into the water because access to the water is difficult for children and older adults. I would return for another family vacation!!!

What an amazing weekend! This is a great cozy location on the lake. Very comfortable and peaceful, was close to the river and had everything we needed. Eve was very informative, friendly and the check in process was simple. Thank you for sharing is spectacular house

First, we appreciated the owner making verbal contact with us. He explained we were his first guest of the season and that there were a few things he had not prepared. We were okay with that. The pace is gorgeous, big, plenty of seating, inside and out. The bedrooms offered something for every taste. She view of Lake Michigan was serene. Plenty of towels and amenities. The only downside, there was not any type of can openers and no real frying pans. Given the new owner just acquired the property, this issue is plausible, so not a big deal. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms clean. Overall had a great peaceful stay. Oh, yeah, one important thing….. evolve didn’t mention this, the owner told me….do not use the stairs to the Lake. You might fall through. May be fixed later, but just double check. 5 thumbs up!

Adam and Suzanne are wonderful hosts and very responsive in time of need. The location was perfect right by the lake and the beds were comfortable enough for a bigger group like us. We had everything we needed. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. They even have kayaks with life jackets for use so that we didn’t have to go anywhere else. The living room is cozy and the patio by the lake is beautiful

We’ve rented a few lakefront homes for our family vacations over the past 4-5 years and this one is our favorite. We loved the quaint and cozy feel the home had, from the vintage fireplace to the huge comfy rocking chair. We spent most of our time on the front porch overlooking the lake doing puzzles, reading books or just relaxing. Having the canoe and a kayak to use was a plus. We will definitely return again!

Absolutely beautiful home!! Home was clean and well layed out. We had 4 adults and 4 kids there was plenty of room. We really enjoyed the beach during our stay! We would definitely stay here again!

This cottage on Long Lake was quaint, cozy, and beautiful! Perfect for the adults and we want to rent it again next June!

Absolutely wonderful stay. Was looking for a quiet weekend with a hot tub. This hit the spot. Quiet, clean and semi-remote. Check in and out was breeze and the host was communicative and friendly. Definitely worth the price.

Our family of 4 (2 boys, ages 5 & 7) stayed at The Robin for a total of 5 days. The condo itself came equipped with everything you may need for small children, including beach toys, a removable shower head, & safe & sanitary eating space, cozy bedrooms with ample storage, a washing area outside, & kids books/activity books. Tina & Ed were wonderful hosts & Tina went above and beyond in communicating with us in a timely manner & providing us with the utmost hospitality, including pre made beds for our kids & and early check in. Tina was very helpful in guiding our family to the best places to visit while in Ludington. The location was so close to downtown, Stearns beach, & Ludington State Park. The scenery was remarkable & having access to a private beach with a washing station was so convenient. We very much enjoyed sitting right outside the cottage taking in the beauty of the sunset on a cozy swinging bench. Overall it was a 5 star experience. If I could give it 10 stars, I would! ❤️

Gabriel and his rental exceeded our expectations and provided for a wonderful, peaceful, and relaxing getaway. Gabriel accommodated us on extremely short notice after we had an issue with another rental. Even on short notice, the rental was spotless and had everything we needed for a great trip. We so appreciated his welcoming hospitality! Both the humans and dogs loved swimming in the river on the property, having bonfires outside, and both the front and back porches were great for lounging. We loved having nearby access to so many adventures (kayaking, Manistee, beaches, etc), while also appreciating the privacy, nature, and space at the Airbnb itself. During our stay the days were sunny in the low 80s, and without air conditioning, we found it to be extremely comfortable sleeping with all the air flow from all the windows. We were able to keep the house cool and comfortable. I would love to stay here again! We wish we had more time there and hope to be back! Great rental & host!

Our stay was exactly as expected. There is no TV and no Internet and Tina describes that in her listing, it was perfect for unplugging from life, it was was simple and easy to stay here. I couldn't stop taking pictures because of the constant changing scenery, it is beautiful.
