Cliffside - Rock Hounders' Paradise

We had a wonderful stay at Cliffside! The house was clean, comfortable, and fit 4 adults and 5 kids perfectly! Billy was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful views made it a perfect getaway for our family. We would definitely stay here again!

Impeccably clean and very cozy. Beautiful views from the porch. Kitchen is well equipped. Great place to get away from the city (especially because no Wi-Fi and spotty cell service). Loved it and would definitely come back.

This was our fourth time renting the house, we absolutely love everything about it. It is so cute and so well decorated and furnished. We had a Friendsgiving and the house had everything we needed. Such a precious place! Already looking forward to our next stay.

Tiny house Getaway retreat on 32 secluded acres

We had a wonderful stay at The Nocona! The shipping container home was unique, cozy, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The fenced-in yard was a huge bonus—our dogs, Willie and Johnny, absolutely loved having space to run and play safely.

Ponderosa Home, great for families

This is one of the best airbnbs we’ve ever booked. Mona was very responsive and gave very clear instructions. Everything we needed to cook was in the kitchen and dining room was roomy as well as the living room. The pool was an added bonus for the kids too. There was also a detailed list of amenities. Will book if we’re visiting Mason again..

Granite Lodge

If you find yourself wanting to stay in Mason then this is arguably one of the best places. It's right on the square making most of what you'd want to do in town in walking distance. You get good and old timey feel with the building and location but with all of the modern amenities. There is some noise that comes with the location through the night and quite a bit of windows so it's bright in the morning. The bed we stayed in was also extremely creaky with any movement. All in all those are small nitpicky items with probably the best option to stay at in Mason TX. 5 out of 5!!!

Hands-down, the best campground experience in Texas! Tammy, Tammy, Tammy! Ms. Tammy is the mayor of Dos Rios, and along with her sidekick, Roger and Nikki and Richard, this place is heaven. I am legit a better person for having stayed there. I can’t wait to go back.

Keep Manhattan, Just Give Me That Countryside

We had such a great time at Bills place! This was a last minute stay for spring break and we enjoyed our time here! While it was chilly for the pool, my kids still braved it and loved swimming and playing in the rec center! Beautiful views and Bill even personally gave us some great recommendations for places to eat in town! We had a great time and would be back!

The Blue Lacy Cabin - LUXURY HIDEAWAY IN TEXAS

Blue Lacy cabin is a hidden treasure. The cabin is beautiful and was comfortable for our family of 3. Blue Lacy offered every amenity we needed. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was furnished comfortably. The view was spectacular. We could see the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. One day we watched a thunderstorm move in that brought rain and hail. We enjoyed the Bluebonnets in bloom as well as other wildflowers. We sat on the porch and watched an abundance of butterflies move from flower to flower. Secluded in the quiet countryside but within easy drive to Mason for groceries, BBQ and TexMex. We enjoyed the eclipse from the front yard and the stars with an early morning appearance of the Milky Way. Very dark, an astronomer’s dream. We will be back someday soon

This was a weird wknd as I was going to surprise friends and sneak into town! The surprise was on me! They were in Vegas! Though I did not stay, Bridget was a perfect host with a cool place and easy location!

The Hidden Gem

Alyssa was friendly and helpful from our first contact. My group loved hanging out in the gameroom at the end of our evenings playing pool, later than we should have, but we were having a great time. Beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Definitely be prepared to meet the dogs (they're very friendly) and watch the ducks and deer who all visit. Next time we're in the area we'd definitely stay again.
