The house and cottage are comfortable and lovely, and the views of Eld Inlet and Mt Rainier are fabulous! We enjoyed the hot tub and being just steps away from the beach where we saw otters pass by one morning and lots of bird life. Our family enjoyed making our meals and eating on the large, beautiful deck - a highlight! A special place - we hope to return.

We loved a peaceful weekend getaway at the Cabin. We brought most of our meals to cook there, but there is a cute area about 10-15 minutes away with a few restaurants. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch and found the cabin very cozy. The hot tub with a view over the water inlet was very nice! We enjoyed being able to bring the pups along for this weekend away as well. The bedroom was upstairs and very comfortable with mini splits on both levels. Wifi worked well! Overall very quiet part of town and just the R&R we needed!

The cabin is in a beautiful location overlooking the canal. It felt very cozy, particularly with the furnace and jacuzzi. Would definitely return in the future!

This is such a gem here in the north west. Hosts like Linda are what make stays so much better. We will definitely be back again as this was just the perfect quiet getaway. The oysters and clams are amazing and was one of the highlights of our stay. I can not recommend this little hideaway enough. It’s simply perfection.

We had a wonderful stay here! Beautiful scenery and right on the water. Kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed cozying up in front of the wood burning fireplace with plenty of already chopped wood for guests. Feeding the deer was an absolute delight! Would love to come back in the summer!

Beautiful stay right by the water! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting around Olympic National Park area. Close proximity to great oysters and hiking.

We loved being at Mason Lake and the lake house was well represented in the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable, plenty of linens and supplies. Plenty of space for our multigenerational group of 8. Nice to have kayaks and canoes to use. Bruce responded to any questions promptly and with good humor. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

My partner and I spent our Valentine’s Day weekend here at the lovers cabin (jacuzzi.) It was everything that we expected and more. The instructions checking in was clear and checking out was a breeze. The view of hood canal from the cabin was spectacular. We would see the tide go in and out with the wildlife around us was to die for. We will definitely make more trips to Mike’s Beach Resort.

Quaint place. Quirky but clean. The loft is up a ladder-not stairs. Must feel comfortable going up a ladder. Not suitable for young kids or pets Very clean and several areas to walk

The wife and two kids spent two nights at Mikes Beach Resort in July. The cabin, although a little smaller than what we expected was peaceful and the surroundings beautiful. Although we spent most of our day outside, the cabin was very welcoming when we got back.

we love to stay at the cabin in the woods for a private little get away,but still near the water for kayaking crabbing and oysters. they have music and food every Saturday, great place to stay

The view from the master, kitchen, living area and porch are amazing. Host generously gave us 2 hours early for checkin since our flight was really early.

Yes it's old but they've kept it up very nicely. Huge windows overlooking the water? Yes amazing. We loved the area, so much to do, great hikes, great places to eat, great place to hang out to just chill. The Saturday night shindig was a lot of fun, enjoyed it quite a bit. We had never been to that area so didn't know what to expect but will go back again when we can.

You really can’t complain with free access to fresh oysters right outside your doorstep. The cabins are perfectly simple, private feeling, and include a soothing view of the water. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved this charming little bungalow on the Hood Canal. The view was wonderful and the beds were comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at Diane’s retreat. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean. The cozy kitchen is well-stocked with spices but has minimal utensils, so consider bringing a spatula. The washer and dryer were a great convenience. Both nearby beaches are about a half-mile walk, with North Beach being family-friendly, while South Beach offers a more adventurous hike with great low tide exploration. The ferry adds extra time to the trip, but with only 10-12 vehicles per crossing, there’s some flexibility. Overall, a fantastic getaway—we’d love to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s house in Harstine Pointe. The location near the beach, lagoon and bluff trail was fabulous. The separation between upstairs and downstairs, with a bathroom, bedroom and living area on each floor was great for two families, and all was clean and in good condition. The view of the sound from the living room was beautiful! Thanks for the great stay!

Always our favorite way to end summer. Unit so close to the pool (never crowded)fabulous view and the beach access across the street.

Peter is an excellent communicator! When we drove up to the home's gate we were very pleasantly surprised!!! The house is beautiful, very clean, and has an amazing view, plus we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There's also a two-person hammock, pergola, various outdoor chairs and tables. The kitchen was very well-stocked and we loved all the art and cookie jars throughout the indoors. We've stayed at many Airbnbs and this property is the very best! You will not be disappointed. Near there is the Wild Felid Advocacy Center (book a visit online) that shelters tigers, mountain lions and other large and small cats. If you go there make sure you watch road signs and addresses since our navigation took us elsewhere. The only marker for WFAC is a cat paw print at car-height. What heartwarming memories we built there during our vacation. Paradise, simply put. Thank you, Peter.

Great place to host my family get together with plenty of space and accommodating kitchen for meals

We loved this home, it was perfect in its layout so that everyone had their own bed and private space and there were plenty of comfortable areas to work and visit. We absolutely loved our vacation and plan to stay again some day!
