Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

Jennifer is a wonderful host! She made me feel right at home and made sure I never missed a sunset! It is so refreshing to have a place that is dog friendly! I am local but needed a place to stay while my house was treated for mold. It was so quiet and peaceful and I got so much work done! The land is great to explore, especially if you come with a dog who needs to get their energy out! You can tell Jennifer really loves dogs and Cali loved her!! The visuals Jennifer has around the house to help you know exactly how to work everything is state of the art!! It truly adds so much to your stay and makes everything so easy! I also was able to get a flexible checkout time :) Thanks, Jennifer for everything!!!

We are local and stayed at Isabella’s house while we had construction on our home. It was such a blessing to be able to have our dogs come with us. The space was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 fur babies. Everything was super clean. We really enjoyed our time at this home away from home, and are planning on returning again soon with the ongoing construction of our home. Isabella is super responsive and helpful. She even brought us homemade cinnamon buns as a treat one evening!

We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

Everything was exactly as advertised and then some. This place was perfect for me and my two littles. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed, and check in was incredibly flexible. My only complaint is that I wish I found this place earlier in the ski season. 10 out of 10 hands down.

Paula’s place is just as described - spacious and welcoming! Very clean and has everything you would need during your stay. Easy to find and 10mins from JMU (we were there to visit with our son). Paula is a very friendly and responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for exploring Luray and also visiting Shenandoah National Park. It was clean and cozy inside.

We can't say enough words about Laurinda's home. It was stunning in every way. We were a group of JMU alum re-connecting after 20 years, and were blown away by the decorator touches all throughout the home, as if straight out of a magazine. All the beds were beautifully appointed with luxury linens as well as the bathroom with fluffy white towels and bathmats. Little touches like fresh flowers in every room, amenities like make up cotton rounds and dental floss, Qtips in every bathroom, plus a fully stocked kitchen, and some apples and oranges left for us, really stood out. The location is stellar, literally steps from the stadium. Laurinda's communication was so warm and welcoming in addition to being helpful and proactive. You can tell she is a pro. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and it was the perfect location for our reunion. Thank you, Laurinda! I can't wait for the next opportunity to stay in your amazing home!

Our family enjoyed our three nights at Ashley and Pam's house. It has a beautiful location and is well appointed with every possible amenity we could need. We really appreciated the little touches like the snack basket. The river is calm and made for easy paddling with the provided kayaks and canoes. We also made extensive use of the hot tub and enjoyed the views while relaxing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was nice and clean, and we had everything we needed. Pictures accurately depict the house. Host does a good job of providing all of the details you need for your stay. Trash drop off is a bit out of the way, but if you aren’t on a strict schedule when you depart, the drive is enjoyable.Would stay here again.

We loved our stay! This is a great location mid-way up the mountain so it’s not so dicey getting down for groceries, dinner, etc but it’s still very convenient getting up for Massanutten activities. Beds were comfortable and there were lots of pillows and towels. We loved the filtered water fill station. Troy was very proactive with information and helpful hints and very responsive to any questions.

Anna's place is spacious and beautiful, as advertised. I booked it for a weekend with friends and everyone loved it. Anna was friendly and responsive. I would absolutely book it again if I'm back in the area.

We really enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer! The house was spacious and had beautiful mountain views. Our kids loved the large yard and game room. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only a quick drive to get groceries. The drive to Shenandoah was only 15-20 min too.

Robinson River Retreat was wonderful! The house was perfect, from big bedrooms to a lovely kitchen with enough space for all four familes. It is also incredibly priced. I'm frugal(some might say cheap), so it was terrific to find quality AND affordability! Laura was very responsive to any of our questions. Highly recommend.

A clean and attractive modern country cottage that is clearly designed for AirBnB travelers. Good lighting and seating. Lots of linens and toiletries. Firm but comfortable beds. A thoughtful touch is the bedside tables with reading lamps and built-in outlets, including USB. Good closet space, though no shelves or dressers. We found plenty of coffee, sugar, and creamer, and a few drinks in the fridge, though no snacks like others have mentioned (but that was fine--we bring our own!). Tons of outdoor space that is great for families, kids, and pets. We will hope that Cozy Corner is available for our next visit to the area. p.s.: Finding the property and entering the house after dark is a little tricky; we recommend asking the host for additional information if you will be doing that. And as others have mentioned, there does appear to be an exterior security camera, even though the listing says that there is not.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

We enjoyed our stay! Cleanliness is important and this place was very clean! We utilized the kitchen a lot because the food was terrible on the resort, it didn’t matter because we had everything there to cook. Great Stay!

My two elementary age daughters and I just spent three nights at "Osprey's Nest" and had a great time. The condo was clean and looks just like the pictures. My daughters loved sleeping in the open loft, and I had a quiet bedroom to myself. Bryce is only a 5 min drive away, and there are 3 restaurants and a general store within walking distance (or a 1-2 min drive). We had Detroit style pizza with a movie at the condo one night, and went out for dinner the other two nights. We also used the pool/hot tub at the resort, which only charged $5 per person for the day, and it was a great way to wind down after a day of skiing. Highly recommended!

Great stay - comfortable place for our family of six. Convenient to Harrisonburg. We would definitely return for a future visit.

It was great! I didn’t realize just how close it is to the slopes. We just walked straight to the resort. The people at the resort were nice and the random people we met. It’s a great spot to stay.

Wonderful weekend getaway for our family! Jennifer was very responsive and the staff and facilities on site were excellent!

Despite the unfortunate circumstances we went through, Doug was always available and responsive. The place was a wonderful stay, especially if you are someone who enjoys a private and peaceful area. Getting there early during the day before it gets dark might be helpful as there are no streetlights and the roads are very meandering. The sights were beautiful. Overall, very great thank you!
