Place was nice and roomy. Lots of space! We had enough room for our one friends to show a few of the couples in our group how to swing dance. View in the front and back of the place were awesome, especially of the rainforest in the back! Things to know: Lots of mosquitoes, make use of the zappers provided! Air conditioner in the kitchen doesn’t do a great job of keeping that area and the dining area cool. Everywhere else, the a/c worked great! 1 bathroom has no hot water, and during our a stay, a second bathroom was also unable to get hot water. So, the only bathroom with hot water was in the master bedroom, which wasn’t ideal. It wasn’t that much of a problem except for night showering. During the day, the sun must have kept the ground so warm that the water was still lukewarm and not too cold. You may get suddenly told about scheduled landscape and other maintenance techs that you will have to leave the gate unlocked for them to get in.

Daniel & Ana were very responsive. We had a few hiccups but things were taken care of promptly. The location is not on maps so there is only longitude and latitude used for directions, which after understanding it’s in 600 acres of private land it made sense. The big brown gate was easy to use and created even more security and privacy. It was great with lots of trails in the facility next door that does horse back riding, forest atv riding, restaurants, and more. We were fortunate to have bumped into Daniel and he took us on a quick ride into the acres of the estate. Incredible! We will most definitely return. Also note you are in horse territory, so there are stables everywhere including down the hills of the estate. They are all private residences so vacationers should be respectful of the people taking care of the horses. Our only minor bummer were noseeums. Mosquito spray was provided - you are in a rainforest - but honestly we didn’t have many. Definitely would recommend!

We had a large group and enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space to gather together or enjoy some space away. Beautiful ocean views though always windy (Mar/Apr stay). The outdoor space was great, loved the pool and hot tub, and grassy areas to relax. The outdoor kitchen with raised seating area was nice and had all the basics plus some. The upper portion of the home was nice, large bedrooms and large living space for indoor relaxing. The lower level, exterior entrance bedroom and studios could use some attention. The 2 studio units beds were springy, very uncomfortable, and had a damp odor and feel to them. The windows were lacking shades or blinds with bright sunlight streaming in early in the morning. Also the windows were very thin and lots of noise entered from the outdoor common areas. The king suite also let in a lot of noise under the door with the ocean breeze (ear plugs are recommended). All that said, our group was happy to be all together, not many homes could accommodate us.

We absolutely enjoyed staying here! A MUST STAY! Perfectly situated location that made it easy to enjoy the beach and very close to numerous places to eat and drink libations of all kinds! It was a pleasure to meet Larry and get suggestions on places to see and Sky was very attentive and responsive to our needs, also the lovely housekeeper Keisha was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back and hopefully stay longer on our next visit! This place is the Cat's Meow! We highly recommend this accommodation!

Our stay was wonderful and we enjoyed walks on the beach, swimming in the pool and going to the local towns! Great spot.

Great place to stay! There’s even free washer and dryers on certain floors for guests. The front desk may try to get you to listen to their time share spill but we just kindly declined. Overall, wonderful stay and resort.

Yomary's place was excellent. It was easy to find and conveniently located near restaurants, the beach, and shops. The area felt very safe, and the accommodation had everything you need for a great stay. It was also very clean. Yomary is an outstanding host who communicated exceptionally well throughout my stay. I highly recommend her place; as a host, she deserves a perfect 10/10 rating.

The stay at Margaritaville was really great. This is right at the hotel, so you enjoy all the amenities of staying at Rio Mar. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It had a small kitchen that was fully equipped, a beautiful bedroom and bathroom and a separate living room. Brad and Sarah were great hosts, very attentive and reachable. The room was clean and honestly it looked even better than the pictures. We would recommend this space 100%.

The property is exactly how it appears in the listing. Very beautiful, relaxing, and private, and immersed in nature. If you are someone who wants to walk to restaurants or local attractions this is not for you. There is plenty to do in the area but you have to rent a car and be comfortable driving on steep backroads at times. We hiked all over El Yunque, went to Los pilones waterfall, drove to cascado rio espiritu santo, and checked out Luquillo beach. Some of these activities were 10-25 minute drive, the longest drive was 40 minutes. If you’re looking for privacy, exceptionally beautiful and peaceful environment, and a good location to see many of the areas activities, this is a great place and well priced.

Wonderful villa in the hills of Canovanas. The place was comfortable for 12 people. Beautiful views and seclusion.

Una experiencia maravillosa, no soy una persona que le guste acampar, la cabaña lo tenia todo, cada detalle para poder desconectarse con la montaña. Nuestras amistades estaban en sus campañas espectaculares y pudimos tener todas las comodidades de una lujosa cabaña. Adicional marilyn y johnny nos complacieron en todo y nos ayudaron a conseguir los mejores cupcakes del area para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi amiga. Nos sentíamos seguros y en casa! Súper recomendado
