Matagorda County : locations de vacances

Thank you Sara for a great stay over our Christmas holiday. We weren't expecting you to have a Christmas tree set up for us. So nice! Really made our Christmas get-away perfect (thanks for the candy too ;-). Love our stay on the quiet peninsula. K

The house was beautiful and easy to find! The dock area was a little busy with the neighbors but overall good. We ended up having to leave early for a family emergency but will be back! The house was very close to the beach and that helped make it easy to get up and to the beach to fish before everyone else got there. Great hosts!

My family and I had the most wonderful time and cannot wait to come back! It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway, and walking distance from restaurants, shops, etc. What a beautiful place to stay and relax. She was wonderful about answering any questions we had! We will definitely be coming back.

Unplugged was everything I hoped for. Peaceful, quiet, great views of/easy access to water. The hosts are so thoughtful having things available to do indoors ie: movies, puzzles and mindful coloring books and the best equipped kitchen that included a sharp chefs knife which I really appreciated! If I return to Matagorda I will definitely be staying here again -but longer! 😊

The house layout is quite nice as kids had their own area upstairs, and adults downstairs. Beautiful views of the gulf from the decks. Had everything we needed to make a wonderful week away with family. House was clean and tidy. Appreciated the dog friendly accommodations. The walkway to the beach is just at the corner of the backyard making a short walk to explore the beach. Neighbors do use the walkway as well, so just something to be aware of. We want to return to the area as we had a lot of fun fishing, crabbing and spending time on the beach. It worked out well using the outdoor outlet downstairs to have our small freezer for all the fresh seafood.

Enjoyed our stay. Place has everything we needed for a family weekend getaway. It’s right around the corner from Stanley’s and just down the road from the beach. Loved it!

This is a lovely cottage with beautiful seaside decor. It was simply perfect for my husband and I as we visited with family in the area. In the mornings he used the internet to get work done and I read on the peaceful outside patio in the sunshine. Walking along the bay is always a highlight when we visit Palacios. Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay in Matagorda was perfect. The house was extremely accommodating for my family and very comfortable. I was able to cook all meals with ease because of all the amenities provided in the kitchen. Although there is only one bedroom, we all slept very comfortable because of the layout and size of beds. I will definitely want to stay here again. Thank you Lisa for being such a fantastic host.
