Matara : locations de vacances avec salon de jardin

Marta ist wine super Gastgeberin. Wir hatten kurzzeitig Probleme mit dem Wasser, aber Marta hat uns sofort geholfen und auch Tipps gegeben für Restaurants, Strände oder Driver. Würde sofort wiederkommen :)

Afra Hiriketiya var en fullträff för oss. Jag reste med mina två vuxna barn och boendet var precis lagom för oss, jag och min dotter delade på en bred dubbelsäng och min son låg i en queensize-bädd i ett annat rum. Förutom att interiören är stilfull är allt genomtänkt, inte för mycket och inte för lite. Vi avslutade vår tio dagars resa i Sri Lanka i detta boende och här kunde vi koppla av. Det är ca tio minuters gångväg till Hiriketiya Beach där vi varje dag tog surflektioner och hyrde brädor. Lunch och middag åt vi på närliggande restauranger. Vi rekommenderar verkligen Afra Hiriketiya.

Thank you so much for your hospitality! The place was really cozy and nice, we loved the balcony surrounded by blooming trees. The hosts were incredible - friendly, responsive. For example, we wanted ab extra key and a fan for the balcony - all of our requests were completely satisfied. It was always clean and neat - cleaning every week with a change of bed linen. The place is close to the main beaches, bus stop and everything you light need. Yard is blooming and big enough for parking 4-5 bikes

Ricky's place is simply wonderful - the house itself, the high ceilings and all the details, the view, the sunrise every morning, the breeze, the little Blue Beach nearby... The location is perfect - close enough to amazing beaches but still far enough from noisy, popular places. We had everything we needed and I only wish we stayed longer. Madu, who is assisting Ricky, is super helpful. He organized the airport transfer and then subsequent urgent transfer to the hospital in Matara because our little son got quite sick. Madu also gave us great tips for places to eat and beaches nearby. One of the cutest things was Mati - the dog of the property. My kids wanted to take Mati back home with us, and if we could, we would have - an amazing dog. We will be happy to be back one day and stay for a while. This airbnb feels like a home instantly.

The house was spacious and the garden was perfect for outside breakfast and dinner. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and train station. The communication with Suren and his family was very good, they are lovely people living just beside the house and ready to help us whenever we needed it! For the price it’s a bargain, we definitely recommend :)

Amazing house with even prettier garden! You have a place for yourself, away from the street but close enough to the supermarket (2 mins) and the beach (1,2 km). The place is calm, private, you can really enjoy your stay in peace and calm. For this amazing price I don't think we could find a better place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Blue Beach House! It’s such a stunning place, we felt very welcome and relaxed here. Check in was easy, Anna was lovely and explained everything in the house. We arrived a bit later, but the communication with Adriana went super smooth so that was no problem. It’s super well stocked which was so nice for us as we’ve been travelling around. Kitchen had everything (oil, spices etc) there is filtered water and also things like anti mosquito spray and extra blankets. We mostly loved the open kitchen and the garden. Also first warm shower in ages for us!! Aircon and fans work great, and so does the mosquito net around the bed. Also one of the better wifis we’ve had! Everything is clean and well maintained, you can see how much love went in to each detail. It’s an elegant but warm space and we loved spending our evenings at home (even though you’re also close to the nice restaurants of Hiri!) Would definitely recommend staying here!

Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cette villa ! La vue est magnifique, la piscine privative exceptionnelle : une belle petite pause au coeur de notre voyage Sri Lankais. Les gens sont charmants et le service impeccable. Très bon dîner et petit déjeuner !! Un super endroit.

5 min from the beach and up in the jungle, it’s the best place to stay if your looking for the calm. Breakfast and Yoga sessions were great. The staff very kind. I recommend 100%.

Incredible owner! thanks a lot for welcome drinks, food! for your attention 😊 it was really cozy apartments , we spent here more than 2 weeks and had remote work (Wi-Fi connections was normal with rare connection problems, but anyway it's suitable for regular audio and video calls with some non critical pings) On the ground floor you can buy some fresh fruits, surfing spots are a ~15 minute walk away, beach is a 5 minute. A lot of places with great breakfasts and dinner, In general, we strongly recommend this apartments!

Ens vam allotjar quatre dies a l’apartament i va ser meravellós. Per començar, en Valentine ens va oferir llogar una moto per un preu molt assequible, i quan vam arribar, ja la teníem disponible. La comunicació, perfecta. Ha estat molt amable i atent a qualsevol petició. L’allotjament, molt net i cuidat. Tot i no estar a primera línia, estava molt ben ubicat. És exactament com a les fotografies! Definitivament, molt recomanable.

Ruwan ist ein überaus lieber Mensch der sehr darum bemüht ist, dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Die Unterkunft sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Alles war sehr sauber. Es gab einen Kühlschrank voll mit kostenlosem Wasser. Frühstückszeiten waren nach Absprache, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Das Frühstück hätte ein bisschen mehr variieren können (es gab jeden Tag das Gleiche). Ruwan organisierte uns den Transport zur nächsten Unterkunft zum Uber Preis. Und der Fahrer war auch sehr nett. Wir haben einen Ausflug zu den Schildkröten und nach Galle zusammen mit Ruwan gemacht, den ich mir ehrlich gesagt etwas anders vorgestellt hatte. Ich dachte er ist so etwas wie ein Touri Guide der uns auch Informationen an die Hand gibt, aber er hat uns lediglich gefahren. Dafür empfand ich den Preis als etwas zu hoch. Aber es war dennoch sehr schön und eine gute Idee. Wir bereuen es nicht 4 Nächte bei Ruwan verbracht zu haben und können es guten Gewissens empfehlen. Gerne wieder dort.

Eine sehr entspannte Unterkunft und super gemütlich. Sie ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Der Strand ist direkt hinter dem Garten und ein paar Gehminuten entfernt gibt es ebenfalls einen schönen Strand mit weniger Steinen beim Einstieg. Saskia, Chethanas Freundin, war super lieb und freundlich und hatte sehr viele Tipps für die Umgebung. Ihr Frühstück war sehr lecker und sah zudem auch wunderschön aus. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und würden wiederkommen.

We really loved our stay in the apartment. It's very nicely designed and has everything that's needed. Also, we really enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen. The place has a nice working area if you ever need to be productive. Eva was a great host. She was there for us all the time and helped us a lot with everything. The beach is very close and several shops aren't far away.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön eingerichtet. Es war super sauber und so wie wir es von den Bildern erwarteten. Sogar noch etwas größer. Der Strand war wirklich schön und die Restaurants drumherum super lecker und gastfreundlich. Das Personal war immer nett und bemüht. Bis auf etwas Küchenausstattung wie Besteck, nen Lappen zum wischen und was zum Kehren, war eigentlich alles perfekt.

The place was easy to find, just a 20-minute walk from the beach. It’s spacious with a large balcony and close to the jungle, where we saw monkeys, parrots, chipmunks, peacocks, mongoose, and other wildlife. The area is quiet and far from busy spots, making it great for a peaceful stay. Our host, Sujeewa, was excellent—responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with, as he is an English teacher. He provided extra pillows and large water bottles (for a fee), ensuring a comfortable stay. He also helped with washing our clothes free of charge. There were a few extra fees, but they were reasonable. The internet was fast but limited to 10 GB/day; we paid extra to upgrade his plan to unlimited as we had to work during our stay. Using the AC also had a daily fee, as it’s not a standard amenity due to past misuse by guests leaving it on unnecessarily causing high electricity costs. Overall, the accommodation offers great value for its price, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Great little oasis in Weligama, Ananda and his wife Malika were very hospitable. The unit was spacious and had all the amenities one could need, including washing machine, bicycle, cooking utensils, and even hot water in the shower. They also have a small convenience store attached to their home so anything you need is easily available. And especially enjoyed the breakfasts they kindly made for me during my short stay. Would have loved to stay longer if I had more time, hope to be back soon!

I had an amazing stay at Crystal Villa Weligama, a perfect retreat for relaxation and productivity. The villa features 3 beautifully designed bedrooms, making it ideal for families or groups. The cozy living room and dining area are perfect for unwinding and enjoying meals together. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need, and with fiber optic internet, it’s great for digital nomads. Located in a calm and quiet area, the villa offers a large garden for relaxation. Just 800 meters from the beach and town, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to enjoy the sun and surf. The neighborhood is safe and secure, ideal for families. The host, Ruwan, is incredibly helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. Crystal Villa Weligama is one of the best places to stay in the area, offering comfort, convenience, and tranquility. I highly recommend it for both work and leisure.

We had a wonderful stay at Sahan’s place - the location was perfect being a few minutes walk from Blue Beach on one side and Hiriketiya on the other with amazing restaurant/ seafood choices. Avisa was always on hand with great suggestions of what to do and he booked us lots of TukTuks and taxis, he was very helpful. He also served a great breakfast in the garden every morning. The only downside is that the living room part of the apartment became very hot, but the views to the sea from there were great.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön und sehr zentral gelegen. Die Gastgeberin Mathilda und ihre Haushälterin Ayomi waren überaus hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Ich kann die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Gayashan and Roshani made this stay unforgettable and the best one during our time in Sri Lanka! They were always available to answer any questions, organized the best Safari into Udawalawe through a friend, did a cooking lesson with us, helped with getting taxis and so much more. Both were so welcoming and it happened often that we talked for half an hour during breakfast about Sri Lanka, nature, politics and food with them. The place is lovely and exactly like the photos! It is in a quiet area with no cars (only peacocks and monkeys haha) and it takes 10 minutes by foot to Hiriketiya beach. The breakfast they serve is authentic Sri Lankan, changes a bit from day to day to keep it exciting and most importantly is DAMN DELICIOUS! And, this shouldn’t be forgotten, both Gayashan and Roshani are absolutely kind and great people and we felt like guests in their home and not just people sleeping next door. Will come again!
