My family had a great time at Mark & Betty’s cottage. It was spotless clean, tastefully decorated, ideally located overlooking a valley and a lake, and fully equipped with amenities, bath towels, fireplace logs , and books and toys for kids. Everyone has something they liked, to name a few, enjoying sunrise in bed, watching birds feeding from the bird feeder, reading by the window overlooking the valley and sleighing on the ski slopes. Mark and Betty were super responsive and friendly, they provided clear instructions and suggestions on things to do locally. Everything went perfectly, this will be an unforgettable Christmas for us!

We loved that we could walk right over without even taking off our ski boots. Plus, the lake is just downstairs, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. It truly felt like the best of both worlds. Our host, Jesse, was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing all the information we needed and answering any questions quickly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect ski/lake getaway!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, beautiful views all around with great trails to walk right off the cabin driveway. We even had some deer run past us on our hike. We enjoyed the cozy space in the cabin, exactly as expected with the accurate pictures Adam took. Adam gave us some recommendations of where to check out in the area, they were great suggestions. Highly recommend asking him for suggestions if you have anything specific you’d like to see. Overall it was an amazing stay, peaceful, beautiful views, cozy cabin, we would definitely go again in a few years.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous home. Everything was very clean and we felt relaxed the moment we walked through the door. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. We can’t wait to stay here again.

James is a fantastic host. His flexibility with accommodating us was amazing. The property was beautiful and the airBnB was well maintained. Highly recommend for anyone looking at staying in Huntsville.

Fantastic place to stay. Don’t worry about the cold nights in the winter as the wood stove will make the cottage toasty warm with lots of hard wood in the shed. Large parking area for trucks and trailers. Place is newly renovated inside and out. Quite location in the winter. Will be going back for sure !
