Fantastic house - we had a group of us stay over new year and it was perfect. Huge social areas with a perfect kitchen and dining area for entertaining. Alan was so helpful. Would recommend!

We had the most amazing time staying at Anne’s place. She was very welcoming and the welcome basket we received was a lovely touch. The perfect area for our quiet get away, very close to everything we needed. The cottage itself was spotless and had a nice homely feel to it. It’s even better than the pictures and really exceeded our expectations. All the facilities we needed and the hot tub was the perfect luxury! Thank you for everything, we’ll definitely be back🥰

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The Mill is absolutely stunning - the photos don’t do it justice at all. It is beautifully put together with a well equipped kitchen, smart decor and so many interesting bits and pieces to give interest. There was such care and consideration given to making sure all needs were catered for from the toys and books to the extensive CD and DVD collection. The grounds are breathtaking and it would be easy to go nowhere else. We were very well looked after and enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and a campfire. This is the perfect place for a family to find peace and reset. Walking up to the birds and the sounds of the waterfall was like a detox. We petted donkeys, saw bee hives, looked for fish and paddled in the water. Our children are already planning a further stay. Exceptional value for money and just beautiful. Thank you Lorraine and the wonderful Arjun for looking after us so well.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay. The cabin was cozy, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Jo was kind and helpful throughout. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay. The house (Byre) is beautiful and far more spacious than photos give credit for. Added bonus for us, wheelchair accessable from patio doors into kitchen/dinning/lounge area. Wheelchair accessible into downstairs bathroom/shower and bedroom. There is a shower stool in cupboard next to bathroom. The upstairs landing area has a cosy couch/snug between bedrooms and upstairs toilet/Shower room. Beautiful scenory surrounding Cottages and we all completely felt at home and relaxed instantly. House very clean and fresh. Stranraer in walking distance with pavement at road end of cottages. Lovely walking options around cottages. Kitchen comes very well equipped and decent sized fridge freezer. We look forward to returning.

We had an incredible stay at the yurt! Alison and Brent were wonderful hosts – friendly, responsive, and full of great recommendations for local attractions. The yurt itself was exactly as described, providing everything we needed for a perfect getaway. After a day of adventure, relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was the perfect way to unwind. Alison and Brent truly made our holiday unforgettable with their thoughtful touches and hospitality.

The Summer House exceeded our expectations. It is more spacious than it looks on the photos. It is very nicely furnished and decorated and is cosy and warm. Penny has thought of everything to make your stay an enjoyable one . Her directions to get there were easy to follow and she recommended several places for us to visit also with clear directions . Archie, her husband , is also very knowledgeable about the island and is very approachable. All in all, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend a stay at Knockenkelly.

Karolinas flat is so nice! We felt comfortable right away. The kitchen has everything you need and the flat is spacious. The area is pretty and you can walk to all the good restaurants and cafés as well.

Calling in advanced as pre instruction, our host was waiting for us on arrival, explained where the keys were, and any problems then knock on their door. Everything we needed for our stay was available, leaflets for places of interest, along with a selection of books and games in the living room. Recommend that you go and see the Red Deer on the A712 north of Newton Stewart, but take plenty of carrots, also if you are really luck you might see Otters at the Otter Pool on Raiders Road Forest Drive One thing we couldn't find was any instructions for the heating, rubbish, what to do when leaving etc.

Pauline herself was a lovely person to meet, very friendly and helpful. location is nicely nestled in the country but close enough to everything. would definitely stay again. our dogs loved the outside space.

We had an amazing time at Gary and Leah’s place. It’s a beautiful modern home with very well appointed kitchen and nice enclosed outdoor space for us and for our dog - especially good as the sun was shining for our trip. One of the best locations we’ve stayed in, right next to the river and seafront area with beautiful views. Appreciated the speedy response from Gary and Leah and their local contact Iain. We had one issue with a leak from our upstairs shower and the problem was dealt with very promptly and a refund was offered without prompting for the inconvenience. It’s a great home in a stunning location and I would happily return when we’re next in Ayr.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fencefoot Farm and were only sorry we didn’t meet Bernard. The restaurant on the same site was absolutely brilliant, delicious fresh food and extremely good value. The house is a little noisy being close to the main road, but we did know that in advance, and the garden was enclosed and safe for our dogs. We had a good 4 days with the most amazing sunny spring weather

Great apartment, very spacious, beautiful rear gardens, plenty of free parking outside. Very homely, you would be hard pressed to find something that this apartment didn’t have. Nice touches of fresh flowers, fruit, bread and milk. Apartment next to the train line for the city centre, close walking distance to local amenities. Would definitely recommend this property. Flexibility re arrival/departure times. Perhaps only slight issue was the curtains in the single bed room don’t appear to black out lined, room was quite bright in the mornings. No issues with the other bedrooms curtains, this does not prevent me highly recommending the property.

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Great host very friendly and nothing too much bother. Accommodation really good and comfortable everything you would possibly need is there. Had a lovely relaxing week thank you.

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

We had a brilliant time at Loudon Mains. David and Eileen were so helpful and even gave us some teabags and milk on New Year’s Day to save us driving to the shop. The lodge was beautiful and the hot tub was great. There was all the amenities you could ask for - from clean towels to gin goblets. We’d love to come back next year 🫶⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Davids place was very clean and in a beautiful quiet location, overlooking a beautiful valley. The country club had good facilities that we accessed and a play area for children. We enjoyed our stay.

David is very friendly. He helped me with my difficulties during my stay here. It was part of my trip to Scotland, but I travel here with very good memories.
