Truly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. How did we get so lucky? I mean, luck of the Irish sounds cliché but this was really something special. I came with my two rather wild boys and Sarah went out of her way to help me. She was incredibly generous to offer us a ride from the airport so that I didn’t have to worry about anything. She even tracked our flight and timed the pickup perfectly. I just consider this above and beyond. The hospitality was unmatched. My boys felt right at ease with her. We were able to enjoy the apartment with the many games and massive dvd collection. The boys loved playing legos and pool. We also enjoyed the pool and I was lucky enough to use the sauna twice. I love the flat: so beautifully designed with cute themes to each room. Books I’d love to read if I didn’t have such wild kids. Linens were heavenly. Kitchen is just what you need. Neighborhood is delightfully quiet. Could have stayed longer easily. Great first stay in Dublin!

Nos alojamos en casa de Dianne durante 2 semanas. Nuestro grupo estaba formado por 3 adultos y 3 niños. Dundrum es un buen barrio para alojarse en Dublín con un centro comercial cercano y el centro de la ciudad a unos 40 minutos en Luas. En la casa tuvimos todo lo que necesitábamos para estar cómodos. El espacio, los cochones y la ducha perfectas. La comunicación con Dianne fue muy fluida desde el primer momento y estuvo pendiente de nosotros por si necesitábamos algo durante la estancia. Dentro de la casa están las instrucciones necesarias para el saber manejarte tanto en la casa como en el barrio. Recomiendo este alojamiento a cualquier viajero que quiera pasar unos días en Dublín y sentirse como en casa.

Christine has been an amazing host. Her house is incredible and very comfortable. Me and my friends were looking for a private place which would host a few families with kids. This place delivered it and then some! We also had a small baptism ceremony on sunday morning and I have to say the fireplace room felt like a chapel. Very high ceiling and big windows with lots of light coming in. We loved our weekend there and would for sure come back!

Loved our short little stay here! Only about 20 minutes from downtown and 10 from the airport! It was very quiet and great for rest. Absolutely loved how responsive Gautam was! I would definitely recommend this place.

THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD STAY! Stop scrolling and book Lex’s place now! This was the most magical stay ever not only does Lex’s immediately feel like home it’s a home full of art, style and personality that just adds to your trip to Dublin and makes you feel like you are getting a glimpse into real life instead of just being a tourist. We ate amazing food, and saw everything from the book of Kells to the Temple bar district and did it all just by walking 10-18 minutes in all directions. We also rented a car to go longer distances outside of the city and had no problems getting parking on the street right outside. Lex was also an amazing host communicated quickly and he gave lots of personalized recommendations and left us snacks and treats that were so thoughtful. This was one of our best stays ever at an Airbnb and next time we come back to Ireland we would definitely book Lex’s place again in a heartbeat.

Lovely spot with some sheep and horses visible from the windows. Clean, friendly and the beds were very comfy. I really enjoyed the photo book with the history of the lost village under the reservoir that you could see from one window.

We stayed for the weekend, and Simon’s place was great for a group of 8 of us. Spacious and clean and in a good location to get to the city center easily.

Loved staying here! Comfy beds and great shared spaces. It was the perfect escape to the country, but still close to the city. Quiet, peaceful, and wish we had more time to explore!

We had an amazing stay. The property is fabulous and is great for groups. Hosts were super accommodating and flexible. Looking forward to booking again in the summer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Castledermot. Perfect place for a large group to get together, great amenities, spotless house with lovely added touches throughout to improve our stay!

A little treasure in Tinahely ~ The Irish House is a very cosy home from home stay. We are a family group of ten, ranging from nine years to seventy six years and we all loved our stay in Tinahely over New Years. The house had generous comfortable bedrooms, spotless clean shower rooms and the kitchen had every single thing you might need for cooking and entertaining. The sitting room is on the smaller side but was super cosy with the fire burner and extra bean bags. Perfect for family chats and relaxing. The pool table and dart board in Murphy’s hotel around the corner were great for family games and pints on a wet cold day. The food is good there too. O’Connors pub was also really cosy with lots of fairy lights and cosy atmosphere. Having two shops and two take aways on the street was fantastic. The kids were delighted to be able to dip in and out for treats. Beautiful area with nearby forest walks and scenic drives. Sonya was a very kind host and stayed in contact throughout our stay

Jonathon was incredibly helpful and responsive. Ideal location with lots of space for a big family. If coming in summer, back garden is amazing.

It was a nice stay in Mary’s house. She had good recommendations for the area and was very attentive.

This is the second time that we stayed here and as before, we loved our stay in Olivia’s place. The accommodation is beautiful. The accommodation was warm and cosy. Lots of space for a big group. Very clean place and a lovely host. We look forward to our next stay!

What a brilliant stay. The house is amazing and so big, spacious and clean. Very close to the town and had everything we could have needed in it. Amazing value for money. Russel was an brilliant host who instantly responded to any messages or queries we had. Thank you, we will be back same time next year.

We stayed for a long weekend and will defo be doing the same again if we come back to Dublin. Main town is a walkable distance but where you are is just as beautiful and even more peaceful. The perfect place to stay after a day in the city.
