Steven was INCREDIBLY accommodating! We were working with very particular days that we needed, and they coincided with a previously scheduled house repair that he had scheduled. He went above and beyond to make it work for us, even discounting an early arrival for us. His communication was excellent and the effort he put in to make it work for us really stood out. The house is peaceful and perfect for any group. Great bed arrangements. The kids loved having their own space downstairs to hang out and play. Plenty of outdoor seating that surround the entire house. Loved the fire pit being near the hot tub, as we were all able to enjoy visiting together no matter which option we chose. Provided firewood was definitely a bonus! Can’t wait to come back again during the summer!

While the host of this cabin was WONDERFUL and the cabin worked very well I wish I had known a few things when I booked. 1) The cabin is 4 miles straight up a dirt mountain road-it takes 20-30 minutes to drive that 4 miles 2) the stairs inside are incredibly narrow, not a consistent height, and just generally difficult to get up and down (this caused us to have to shift sleeping arrangements) 3) the dining table is purposely distressed to the point of almost not being functional (you can’t set a cup of coffee in some places). It was a nice place for our larger group and again the host is wonderful. The upstairs bathroom and master are enormous. Everything had been freshly cleaned and linens and towels smelled very fresh but floors and furniture have used a really good deep clean. Instructions were clear and communicated well. All in all a little far out and inconvenient but we did have a great stay.

I love what Klara, Chuck, and Donald doing !! Sanctuary for Animals has very special place in my heart ! The bed and breakfast cabin was so cozy !! Walk in door .. and you feel at home … feel all the stress of life .. melt away.. love all the sounds of farm.. relaxing hot tub every evening after amazing days. Breakfast delivered will blow your taste buds off !! Delicious !!! Cabin is fully stocked .. they took care of every need … amazing !! Bed was so comfortable ! So many sweet dogs there .. who would love to come home with you! You won’t regret coming to sanctuary.. you will love it!! Looking forward to next stay!

The cabin was exactly as described, clean, easy to find, and spacious. The driveway can hold 4 cars. Keith and the cohost were very responsive and helpful when reached out to.

Our weekend getaway was great. The lake view was amazing and the remoteness from society really was the cherry on top for relaxation. Finding the cabin was a bit tricky but once found inside it was clean and beautiful. I had great communication with the host and was made aware of any changes to our stay beforehand. One thing I would say could be improved was the bed, comfort was okay but the bed was really squeaky. Other than that I would definitely recommend this stay for any couples in search for relaxation and a weekend getaway away from society.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! The location is perfect for anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in the woods, it offers total peace and tranquility. The cabin itself is cozy and beautifully designed, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The interior is warm and inviting, and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking meals. The outdoor space was just as lovely, with a fire pit and plenty of firewood. Our host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and there were thoughtful touches like extra blankets and a snack basket. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. I’ll definitely be returning for another stay soon!

For someone who is just starting out at staying at Airbnbs I was extremely happy with this one. First off, we requested the air fresheners be removed due to my wife’s asthma. They were removed and an air purifier was ran. Second, it was just a great place overall. The porch was perfect for playing cards on, we grilled our dinner on the provided grill and capped one of our nights off with a relaxing time in the hot tub! Will definitely recommend this one, and will definitely book again when we are back in the area!

Our stay was great, my husband and I loved sitting on the porch! Celeste answered our questions quickly and was always nice and there when we needed! Would definitely stay again!

The cabin was very cute! I appreciated the view of the river from the inside of the cabin and the ease of accessing the river on the outside. I was concerned about not feeling secluded once we got there due to surroundings however once we checked in I felt like we were secluded and enjoyed the escape from the world. We had a cute basset hound visit every morning but we didn’t mind I hear it’s a routine for the puppy to visit everyone on the bank of the river. We met an awesome neighbor who lives up a few cabins. He makes his own stink bait and was so very welcoming. Willie was his name and I want to come back to visit just to morning fish with him! The cabin was a cute and relaxing spot. We will be back, I hope!

We loved this little place! We felt right at home - a relaxed getaway indeed. There’s everything you need here, lots of perfect little details. We loved sitting on the front deck each morning with our coffee, listening to the birds and waving to the neighbors. The backyard provided a perfect run for our mini golden doodle, and our teen son had a great time in his own loft. Comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient.

Beautiful place, everything about this place was awesome! Perfect spot, tucked away but so close to downtown shops. The house was spotless, the owners responding so quickly! Looking forward to the next time!

My son and his two fishing buddies were very pleased. Easy parking for vehicle and boat. Both the bed and sofa were very comfortable. Highly recommend. It’s nothing fancy but just what was needed and for a good price.

It was one of the best places we have stayed at in terms of how nice the place is taken care of. How stocked everything was; kitchen with everything you need, pots, spices, oil, trash bags (we have been at places that do not put enough!), grill utensils, etc. even some goodies for us when we arrived. Overall we loved the house and how quiet it was around.

Awesome and quiet little paradise in the mtns near robbers cave lost the key but Yuri to the rescue got us in told us no big deal awesome hosts i would recommend to any couple or single travelers for a cozy stay thanks you guys are great 👍🏽

This place was a little slice of heaven. As soon as you walk in the front door, you can see straight through the back to the lake. The views in the morning and evening are simply beautiful. We felt extremely fortunate to get a chance to stay here as this is the owners personal lake cabin. The fishing was wonderful right off the dock! Everything from crappie to sand bass. We were able to catch it all off minnows, nightcrawlers, and lures. Stephanie was kind enough to let us use her families kayaks and that was a huge hit for our boys. Afternoon and early evening kayaking was simply the best! Stephanie was a wonderful host! Her place had everything under the sun and then some. Amenities galore, so much so, that it really did feel like a home away from home. We would stay at this place or any other location hosted by Stephanie in a heartbeat!!! Do not let the low number of ratings scare you away! She and her property are great!!!

We spent an amazing weekend at Melissa’s place last weekend. The house had everything we needed. There is a beautiful water view from the front porch to sit out and drink coffee in the morning or enjoy in the evening. We enjoying fishing from the dock just down at the waters edge. Having the boat ramp straight across the street was the most convenient. It only took a few minutes to be out on the water. The waters edge right in front is rocky, but strait out just a little ways is an island with sandy beaches. It was not crowded at all. Overall we had a wonderful weekend! We would stay here again, and recommend this place to others!

Very nice cabin, nicely appointed with everything we needed. Stacey was wonderful about communication, check-in and how to access the extra conveniences we hadn’t thought of like ice, firewood etc. I did have to run for bath soap, shampoo etc. Didn’t know it wouldn’t be there but will know next time. Great spot overall!
