Comfy beds, private location, clean and new. Second time we have stayed here and not the last. Host was very responsive and quick to respond. Linens and towels were soft and new.

We booked this place for a last minute family trip and were blown away by the beauty. True to pictures, the living room and deck outside offered a serene view of the river. The kitchen window offered views of Castle Crags. Beautiful view either way you looked! The home was well appointed and clean and the kitchen had every gadget you'd need to cook your meals! Our kids - an infant and older kids had plenty of toys and books to keep them entertained. Truly a memorable vacation! Thank you Jonathan for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Super easy house for a couple, families, or many people. Beds are comfortable, well (very well) equipped kitchen with items for cooking, baking, lots of plates . . . , and a very comfortable living room. Great location with an amazing mountain view a just a short walk down the alley, and peak a boo views from the house. Easy walk to groceries and food. No shoes inside, so you might want to bring slippers/house shoes. They do have some slippers to borrow too. Happy we stayed here.

From the outside, this appears to be just like any other house, but a lot of love has gone into the inside, making this probably the nicest place in town! And it is a real home, not a bunch of cheap IKEA things. Spacious and taken care of. There is even a little “gift shop.” If you’re here, it’s for hiking the various mountain parks and trails. We were surprised that even in April, you could find a foot of snow, so pack accordingly. This is a century home, but with several modes for heating, making it warm and cozy.

this was a wonderful spot to spend a long weekend at. couches and bed were super comfy. bathroom super clean. and awesome location- no more than 15 minutes to great restaurants and hikes!

Claudia’s home was absolutely beautiful! Nestled amongst evergreens with plenty of space for the kids to play, snow or shine :) The home itself was open and welcoming, with wonderful, rustic decor and family style kitchen with all the amenities. The bedrooms were generously sized, and had the most comfortable beds! We will definitely be coming back! Sarah and Family

Thyra’s Butterfly Rest was the perfect landing spot as we took our roadtrip down to California from Washington. She was super responsive when it came to any questions we had and even gave us a bunch of recommendations for food and activities. Having breakfast items and snacks was a huge plus as we arrived later in the night after the restaurants had closed. The bed was comfy and the toiletries provided also helped us out big time :) TLDR: perfect little spot to rest up before your big day of hiking or for having a little getaway in Dunsmuir! Great spot centrally located with easy access to town and highways. Clean and well stocked kitchen and bathroom, I would stay again.

A nice, peaceful and beautiful place. Conveniently located, almost 15 mins to Mt Shasta City. Host was very friendly, responsive and accommodated our odd hours checkin and checkout. Very knowledgeable about the area as well.

It was a sweet beautiful little spot and within driving distance to all the waterfalls I was hoping to see. She was also very responsive anytime I reached out.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.

Cute little place!! Loved the little bird motif. Great WiFi speed! It also had a well stocked kitchen. Communication was superb!
