Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was nice and clean, and we had everything we needed. Pictures accurately depict the house. Host does a good job of providing all of the details you need for your stay. Trash drop off is a bit out of the way, but if you aren’t on a strict schedule when you depart, the drive is enjoyable.Would stay here again.

So happy to have stayed in Susanne's home! She was so warm and welcoming at our check-in and was ready to answer questions that I now see were already answered in the posting but I had overlooked hahaha. She was kind nonetheless and was helpful! My husband, 2 year old, parents, mother-in-law, and aunt & uncle stayed the weekend for a nearby wedding. We were so pleased to see that there were toys and books for our son! He absolutely loved the home, especially having ample space outside to play and see the cows too! It was a beautiful and peaceful property! Just a note that I wanted to add for future stays in case it's helpful for anyone planning - the full bathroom upstairs is shared between the single beds (bedroom 3 in the pictures) and the queen (bedroom 4). The double bed (bedroom 2) would have to enter through either of the other two rooms to use that bathroom. And then the downstairs bathroom is the only one downstairs. It worked out perfectly fine for us and our arrangements!

The October House was a perfect getaway for our family. The house is very comfortable with ample room. We had a fantastic weekend in Basye. Would absolutely return.

Seth and Carla were extremely responsive during our stay! We loved how many beds this house had and we were able to all spend time together while comfortably being seated around tables/living rooms! We wish the fire pit had seating or that fireplaces worked, but we loved this property and its proximity to wineries and ski resorts!

I can’t say enough about Stephanie’s home. It was probably one of the best Airbnb’s that I’ve been hosted. The furnishings, decor, finishes are not only stylish, they are of great quality. Linens and towels all very nice. It was in a quiet, safe location. We enjoyed the backyard and deck. We would stay here again whenever we are visiting the area!

Laura’s place was perfect for our long holiday weekend stay in Madison. The property matched its description precisely, offering comfortable beds, a well-organized kitchen (everything is labeled), and fully functional amenities. Laura was responsive to our questions but we had most of the information we needed in the house. The location was ideal for exploring Culpeper and Charlottesville. Everything was immaculately clean, and the internet and TVs worked perfectly. We would absolutely recommend this rental and hope to return in the future.

Place was lovely and exactly as listed. Spacious , great views, clean and lots of DVDs and board games. Highly recommend staying here!

My dog and I felt right at home. It was clean, cozy and inviting. It exactly what we needed after a long day of driving and a long day of hiking. There was more than enough space for the two of us. I was very pleased with my first Airbnb experience. Thank you!

I originally rented this airbnb to accommodate a construction work crew that was coming in to help out with a project. Due to unforseen schedule changes, i was unable to use this place to it's full duration but my workcrew enjoyed their week long stay. Having said that, Suzy was a remarkable host. She was able to confirm the reservation with less than 24 hrs notice. Her property is beautiful and relaxing and a perfect place to recover from a long day of work. The host welcomed the crew with a freshly baked loaf of banana bread which we were not expecting. It was unexpected but a welcoming touch.

Kristen and Chris' place is a hidden gem! The unit was comfortable, spacious, private and exceptionally clean. It was conveniently located to many shops and restaurants as well JMU's campus. There was ample street parking. While it is a basement apartment in an older home, I could barely hear anyone walking upstairs. I highly recommend their place and will be staying there again!

We really enjoyed Maya's place! She was so sweet and gave us a beautiful valentine's gift basket and ballon. I cannot wait to return to her beautiful home again! Thank you Maya for everything!

Beautiful grounds and beautiful & comfortable inside. (Play area set up for any little guests, comfy couches and bed, and all the little touches that help make traveling easier.

We’re an outdoorsy family and we all loved our stay in Glenn’s home, right by the water with easy to launch area for the kayaks, no light pollution at night to watch a blanket of stars in the sky. Our fur baby loved it just as much and took a liking to Glenn. Thank you and hope to be back this summer!!!

Simply the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in so far! Excellent host - very communicative and flexible! Apartment was very clean, tidy, clearly labeled, with a gorgeous balcony view! It was an incredible experience, and will surely stay there again!!

I am very happy to find Carrie s place. It's nice and clean and has all the amenities as listed. My main purpose of staying was for work and its 16 minutes from Sentara RMH. It's quite doable and if you are working at the hospital, you would really enjoy this location. The host is extremely kind, poise, and extremely well accomplished to say the least. I will definitely stay there should I ever come to Harrisonburg.

Have stayed here multiple times now but this visit was specifically for my daughter and son in law to enjoy a babymoon getaway. The river is easily accessible so they floated in tubes one day and took their canoe out another. They were able to take their dog as it is dog friendly. They grilled out and enjoyed the beautiful decks around the home. Resturant suggestions were layed out with local menus as well as local attractions. Luray Caverns is close by, Cooters, from Dukes of Hazards store serves a great lunch, and the drive and scenery all around is incredible. Sharon is the best host and always available by text or phone for questions. Check in and out were simple.

My two elementary age daughters and I just spent three nights at "Osprey's Nest" and had a great time. The condo was clean and looks just like the pictures. My daughters loved sleeping in the open loft, and I had a quiet bedroom to myself. Bryce is only a 5 min drive away, and there are 3 restaurants and a general store within walking distance (or a 1-2 min drive). We had Detroit style pizza with a movie at the condo one night, and went out for dinner the other two nights. We also used the pool/hot tub at the resort, which only charged $5 per person for the day, and it was a great way to wind down after a day of skiing. Highly recommended!

Very clean, nicely furnished b&b. Beds were comfortable too. The views out the window were lovely in fall with the changing leaves. We found the stay peaceful and quiet. The apartment had everything we needed. It was a little light on supplies (e.g. detergent pods, shampoo and conditioner) but we had brought our own supplies so it wasn’t an issue.

The place does have an excellent view, and the location is perfect. It’s under 30 min from a lot of great trails, and even the immediate area is lovely to explore. The one thing I will say is that the condo is on the older side, so don’t expect fresh, new appliances. Nonetheless, everything (including the heating) works flawlessly. Patricia and Tracy were very responsive and very helpful, ready to help with whatever I needed. Another important note is all the hills, in that the condos around here are all literally built into them. Be prepared to walk uphill and put stress on your car. Other than that, there’s nothing I would change.

The perfect location for my husband and I to attend the college ski & snowboard races going on at Bryce Resort. Charmingly remodeled, Molly’s place was spotlessly clean and uncluttered, leaving plenty of space for all our winter gear! The beds and linens were very comfortable which made for quite a few cozy mornings sleeping in. The unit is directly beside the slopes and golf course, so you can’t beat the convenience no matter what time of year you come.

Andy was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had been at this resort a few times in the past and the unit we received was very nicely appointed and updated. We had all amenities and were super close to the indoor pool and gym. Comfortable.

Perfect location for the slopes. Ok, you don’t get the view of them from the condo but the ground/first floor location is so worth it!

Despite the unfortunate circumstances we went through, Doug was always available and responsive. The place was a wonderful stay, especially if you are someone who enjoys a private and peaceful area. Getting there early during the day before it gets dark might be helpful as there are no streetlights and the roads are very meandering. The sights were beautiful. Overall, very great thank you!
