This spot is so beautiful! The bungalow was comfortable for my family. My adult son was able to sleep on the couch no problem - it converted to a bed. Every supply we needed was there and there is lots of closet and drawer space for long stays. We loved the view of the water and the outdoor spaces are thoughtful and well done. Two seating areas by the bungalow and also a fire pit and dock by the water. We are already planning to come back next year.

Ali’s place was a perfect spot for a winter weekend getaway. Beautiful cabin in a great location, close to ski trails and ice fishing. The place is well stocked and Ali was very helpful with communication. Would absolutely stay here again.

We didn’t want to leave! It was so peaceful by the lake. The view from the big kitchen window was incredible. We used their kayaks quite a few times and immensely enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful views from the lake. The house was absolutely cozy and so clean! On a rainy day, we opened up the back garage door that was all set up to sit and enjoy the breeze and the views while sheltered from the rain! What a great surprise! We would definitely consider going back!

We enjoyed our stay at Rene’s house very much. The living area is spacious, making it the perfect space for my family reunion of 6 to hang out, play games and cook (BBQ grill, well stocked kitchen utensils and appliances, table for 6 on the porch looking out to the water, etc). The private waterfront is gorgeous - the house is located down a private and quiet road, making it a very relaxing and peaceful setting. The pre-teens also loved the badminton net and trampoline! We had no issues with the house, but Rene was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Rene’s house and all it provided allowed us to make many lasting memories.

This hidden gem was beyond our expectations with pristine views and tranquil surroundings. The home is beautifully furnished with all amenities to suit your needs. Spacious interior that comfortably accommodated 4 adults and 2 children (one child with special needs). A must for families looking for a relaxing and refreshing time away! A small reminder that the home is lakeside with sunset views and the breeze does get gusty at times

Beautiful home. Close to snowmobile trails with exceptional trails. Large trailers may need to unload and be left at community center down the road. If heavy snow can be a challenge to back one down drive. No problem for smaller trailers.

Excellent cottage, well equipped, nice decor, very cozy and clean. You can enjoy the great view of French River. Definitely worth the money.

We spent 5 days at Nicole’s place, and it did not disappoint. The place is absolutely beautiful, the cottage is so beyond well-appointed, there was lots of things available to do like games and water sports. The diving board was a HUGE hit with the kids! We can’t say enough good things about the space and the host. She was so accommodating to our large group which we appreciated so much. Don’t bother looking elsewhere if a cottage is what you’re looking for, this is it! Thank you so much for having us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mike's place in this charming little town. Lots of close amenities and cool locations to check out in the area. Would recommend.

Our family was here for a few days on our road trip. It’s definitely a more rustic cabin. But has amazing views and we definitely enjoyed kayaking and the beach. One thing that I didn’t realize before booking is this house is on land where other family is. We didn’t run into anyone (other than the step dad showing us around when we got there) but I feel it’s worth noting. The beach is on their property too. The house also had a lot of family photos and personal belongings. Which made it almost feel like you were staying in someone’s house. All and all, it was a good stay, just feel like these would be things that people may want to know.

Great spot to stay to explore Manitoulin. The location is very central so it's quick to drive to the top spots. Fire pit and beach access at the location is a great perk. Nano is a very friendly and responsive host, helped us with some small issues during our stay.

Glenn and Judy have created an oasis for complete relaxation. You awaken to the sound of the waves lapping the shore, there is always a breeze off the water, and the vistas are beautiful. Their home is completely off grid, and rustic, with ample space to relax and four generous bedrooms so everyone has their own space. The only downside was the compost toilet, but it was a mere inconvenience compared to the pristine beauty of the surroundings. Glenn and Judy are friendly, very religious, and make you feel completely at home. Would recommend without hesitation.

Came in October. The instructions on how to find the A frame cabin were clear. It was a bit tricky to find but thankfully Jen’s instructions led us straight there without getting lost. Check in was super easy as we arrived just as it was getting dark. We woke to a beautiful vista right on the water. Everything around the cabin was serene and quiet. No loud neighbor or kids in the vicinity. Very private with own beach and kayaking included. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. Bedding was supplied, mattresses were very firm but comfortable. Cabin itself was extremely spacious with huge windows and large back deck. Dining table inside and outside. Even a screened dining area close to the water in addition. Sandy area for a game of horseshoes, fire pit, new BBQ with utensils and plenty of parking. We had a wonderful peaceful experience and hoping to come back when the water is a bit warmer. Price was one of the best on the island for this season! Thank you Jen!

Our stay was lovely. So private and so beautiful. It was a grounding experience to be so close to nature. Decks with seating surround the entire cabin giving a tremendous opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

Great spot to stay and the hosts we're fantastic! Would highly recommend the place to anybody visiting the Manitoulin Island and surrounding area.

We loved our stay, as always. This house is beautiful and peaceful and comfortable, any time of year we visit. Highly recommend.
