wonderful get away place to stay. the place was very spacious . I recommend staying here and I will be back again when I have a trip for the family. 2 thumbs up!

Christine’s place was perfect for our needs. We were in town for the night for a triathlon. It was conveniently located near downtown McHenry which was very charming. Christine was very communicative and shared all needed information as well as recommendations for restaurants, etc. she was easy to work with and was flexible. Her place is VERY clean and comfortable. I wish I wouldn’t had to wake up so early so that I could have enjoyed the comfy bed a bit longer. The backyard is lovely and super relaxing. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We felt right at home here with our toddler and our dog. Our son especially loved the fun sunglasses on the coffee table. We hope to return and would definitely recommend.

stayed at this charming cottage in the woods for two days, and it was exactly what I needed to escape the city and recharge. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and feels like a hidden gem. Inside, it's clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. It would be great if there were drinkig water and some snacks for guests upon arrival just to add some extra comforts. Mornings with coffee on the porch and evenings by the fire were pure bliss. If you're looking to unplug and relax, this spot is perfect.

Pictures didn’t do this place justice, clean and very well furnished. Kitchen fully stocked as if they live there full time. High end utensils and kitchenware. Very cozy, well lit during the day, several spots to hang out indoors and outside with lots of entertainment options indoors, lots of room to roam outside and a fire pit . Sandra responds instantly, she’s very far from you so you have privacy but always available to come by if you needed anything. Sandra invited my daughter to help her groom the horse and that made her day. Would visit again for sure, and perhaps in the winter if available. The fireplace beckons. There’s an XL size griddle outside which I was allowed to use. She’s offering you all she has, so treat it with care and respect and clean after yourself so that we can all enjoy her place. This is the second time we used this place. Hosts are very nice, fair patient. My son with our very little grand children stayed there for the weekend. On the checkout day, it started snowing and it took a little extra time because of small children. Host was understanding and allowed an extra few minutes to check out. We will use this place without hesitation.

We enjoyed our stay at Antonio's lovely home. It had all the comforts of home and more. I would most certainly recommend this home to anyone looking for peace and relaxation while on vacation.

This is the fourth place we have stayed in the area over the past year, and it is by far the best in every way. Not only is Joanna’s place exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, and wonderfully located, it is the one place that had actually felt like home. It’s the extra details that make this house so wonderful. The kitchen is stocked with every kitchen utensil you could possibly need (and they aren’t odds and ends. They are all great quality.) Our favorite part was how family friendly the house is. There were two baby gates available to keep our children safe from the stairs. The furniture didn’t contain many sharp corners. The bedrooms had plenty of space for the baby beds. And the basement was stocked full of toys and books to keep our kids occupied. We could go on and on with how wonderful the house is and how wonderful Joanna is. Can’t wait to stay again!

We were in town for Thanksgiving visiting family with our dogs for 4 nights. Communication with host was great. The house was very clean, well furnished (we cooked the Thanksgiving meal there), recently renovated kitchen (huge kitchen island) with high end appliances, and yes there are 6 bedrooms (some small but nice). Rooms are split between three floors so everyone had room/privacy. Backyard with pool was great, lots of space for dogs, everything is fenced in but the front which was not a problem as the house is on a dead-end street with very little traffic. This is definitely a superhost home, all your condiments, lots of nice touches and snacks/gifts. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to family in Chicago. House is locate between 41 and 94 making travel around Chicago easy.

Jane responded fast to text messages. very kind, offered to tell about restaurants and local entertainment. I had an issue with the door ( operator error ) called Jane and she called me back to see if i was able to fix the issue, which was a simple fix. I will definitely make sure I reserve there again when I go back into town if available.

We had a great time at Mikes place! It was all the little things and extras. From the provided waffle mix with toppings, the golf simulator and indoor pool to the ping pong table and infinity game table. It was also very cozy and we all felt close and connected. We were a large group that gets together once a year for skiing. It was the first time we visited Wisconsin and we would definitely come back! Mike was very responsive with any issues that came up.

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

Scott’s place was very nice! It was updated and clean. With the 3 bedrooms, it was a good home for our multigenerational family to have the space to come together at times and have the space we needed to spread out. The bottom bedroom was a bit chilly due to all of the beautiful, large windows, however, we found extra covers that allowed us to make due. I would suggest if you’re coming in the cooler months to bring warmer pajamas to sleep in. Thanks, Scott!

We were genuinely surprised to find a place in this location so close to the relatives we were visiting. Genoa City is not exactly the hotspot on the border! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, but no overly inquisitive citizens. Property was perfect for our requirements, with the fenced in back yard that allowed us to let our pet out whenever without having to use a leash. Nice personal welcoming touches were unexpected and truly appreciated, since we arrived late and weren't able to do any shopping before hand. Beds were comfortable and spaced throughout the second floor, with expansion in the lower basement if necessary for bigger families, especially those with older children. School immediately across the street is great for spontaneous recreation of all types if you have the equipment. Our dog has not had the opportunity to enjoy such a large open space for quite some time and it was great to wear him out for the evening prior to bedtime. Abundant TVs throughout the home!

We loved our stay at this property! The location in Abbey Springs is so peaceful and we enjoyed relaxing on the upper balcony overlooking the woods and golf course. It’s not listed, so no deduction in my rating, but for people who are new to Abbey Springs and want to enjoy the lakefront, keep in mind this property doesn’t provide beach gear or beach towels. The golf cart is a huge added bonus and we absolutely loved riding around the resort. Thank you! We will be back for sure!

Stephen was a welcoming host and the cabin was exactly as described. The location is secluded and quiet, but you’re also close to groceries, restaurants and fun antique stores. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals, and the fireplace is cozy and perfect for relaxing. Even with snow on the ground we enjoyed strolling around the property down to the lake. A wonderful stay, we’d love to visit again.

This Airbnb was ideal for our stay and exceeded expectations. Cleanliness is very important to us and it was very clean! The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry facilities had everything you could possibly need. Excellent sleeping space for a large group. The area was nice and quiet. Absolutely loved staying at Sylvia's! The camper is very conveniently located within the park - close to all the amenities and activities! Easy to access, beautiful grounds and a very peaceful stay for my family and I.

Wonderful experience. Responsive hosts, charming house, comfortable gathering spaces, well-stocked kitchen, great beds, easy walk to Main St. Hosted a Christmas Eve celebration there with extended family, many coming from out-of-state (and country) as well as from Sun City, and it couldn't have been better. Five stars and happy memories!

Had a get together with friends and enjoyed a long and fun night of games and activities with the friends. Plenty to do and arcades and ping pong were super fun. House was clean and organized. Perfect for hosting fun events with friends

We are former Crystal Lakers who returned home to visit friends. Brent's cottage was exactly as pictured and perfect for our stay. I was able to walk by the lake everyday and was close to everything. The house was very clean and Brent was super responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here as a family with 4 kiddos under the ages of 5. We arrived early and Collin worked fast to get us check in sooner than originally planned. He was very fast and friendly to respond. The house was tidy, clean and the kitchen was fully equipped- my wife is very particular about cleanliness and she felt very comfortable staying here. This was such a convenient spot as restaurants and shopping were within small driving distance. We didn’t get a chance to use the jacuzzi but that space along with the front patio was such a cozy setup. This was by far one of our favorite stays and we highly recommend Collin and his home. Thank you for hosting to us!

We had a great time at Brent's cottage for a long weekend with our puppy. The neighborhood was walkable (including the general store and lake) and peaceful/quiet. The house was as described and seemingly recently updated with lovely furniture and decor. The kitchen was lovely, easy to use, and felt at home, with many dishes, pots/pans, and cutlery/utensils. Easy check-in with a keypad, and Brent was communicative about all instructions and local recommendations - of which we tried many! I will say that the bathroom was a bit small for us, but that's to be expected in a cottage; I'm just a bit spoiled with our high water pressure and water softener at home :) Also, I was hoping for a fenced area for our doggie, but we managed walks with the leash with no problem. We can definitely see ourselves staying here again!
