Listen. I don't want to tell you anything about this place. I want to lie to you and tell you it was mediocre. I want to tell you that I didn't find a single thing enjoyable and didnt wake up to dolphins. I want to tell the deck was boring and bed is made of wood. the truth is.. I found a gem and so have you. Ditch the kids and take you wife here. bring some bug spray and some simple foods. I didn't plan to stay put and that was a mistake. You should plan to stay and not go anywhere. Also. lamas look like aliens in the dark.

Me my father and brother where on a weekend fishing trip from Tennessee could not have ask for a more quiet place to relax after a day on the water nobody had anything bad to say and Kathleen is amazing as a host! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Dockside Dreamhouse was an incredible place. The marsh is gorgeous, the house is private and quiet. The firepit is lovely. We had a wonderful stay. All photos are accurate as is the beautifully decorated home. So many special touches. The kitchen was fully stocked. All of the linens were fresh. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. The vibes were definitely beachy and relaxing. We did daily adventures to Brunswick, Savannah & Jekyll Island. Driftwood Beach is a must see on your list! Megan was so responsive and answered any question we had very quickly. The only downside about the marsh were the noseeums. There was not an amount of bug spray or citronella candles/oils that could keep them away. If the wind is blowing, or the sun is down they seem to go away. When we make it back, we would definitely bring outdoor fans, they seem to keep the bugs away. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises, sunsets and nightly fires. We loved catching blue crabs on the dock. Very special home:)

Honestly, my family had a blast staying at this home! We absolutely would stay again if ever in the area! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing home that is in close proximity to Jekyll Island, Brunswick and St. Simon’s!

Serena and Dwight were wonderful hosts! It was a pleasure to stay at their special place on the river! The cottage was warm, inviting, clean, comfortable and decorated nicely with Serena's original artworks. The spacious grounds were dotted with beautiful gardens that were just coming out of their winters rest. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for sunsets and lounging on the elevated dock, while watching the tides and wildlife of the salt marsh. The town of Darien is a gem. Great restaurants, shops and museums. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. We had experienced true, southern hospitality. We will return to this little treasure, as our time there was not enough!

House looked just like the pictures. The view is absolutely stunning, you'll never get tired of looking out over the marsh - the sunrises are worth waking up for! This is by far the most accommodating and fully stocked AirBnB we've ever stayed at. Tons of toys, baby items, etc. Highly recommend and will return!

We had a great weekend staying at the Marsh House. It was a peaceful getaway. Watching the sunrise across the marsh was beautiful. The house was clean, organized, and unique. All the woodwork was beautiful. I especially loved spending quiet time enjoying that amazing back porch. Jennifer has thought of everything to make this house feel like home. She's super organized, informative, and responds quickly to messages. We can't wait to visit this peaceful place again.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans la maison de Caleb. Nous avons bien profité du très grand spa et de la magnifique cour arrière ensoleillée. La piscine était un peu froide (début mars), mais avec le spa, c'était parfait (on pouvait passer de la piscine au spa!). Mes enfants ont fait un feu en soirée et ont joué aux arcades. L'endroit est extrêmement tranquille. La cuisine est très bien équipée (on peut vraiment cuisiner), les lits sont confortables et le grand sofa est invitant pour les soirées cinéma en famille. Petite note : il y avait café, sucre, sel, poivre, huile d'olive, quelques condiments et collations à notre passage, ce qui est toujours très apprécié. Nous avons visité Savannah (à environ 45 minutes) et le Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge (à 13 minutes).
