We came this weekend for a snow tubing trip to River Riders. There were 5 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all! The fenced in backyard was perfect and everyone enjoyed the hot tub, even in the freezing temps. The old house is super cute and has some unique qualities. It was clean, plenty of towels and everything needed in the kitchen to cook breakfast, lunches and dinners! No issues were encountered at all and we will be back in the Spring for river tubing! Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at the Old Schoolhouse property and definitely recommend it! It's perfectly located, super close to the area's amazing breweries, wineries, and hikes. The property was as advertised and was extremely cozy. Our favorite part was the walking paths throughout; it snowed quite a bit during our stay and walking the area was magical!

Our stay at Joe’s Farm was perfect! The property is peaceful, charming, and surrounded by nature. The kids loved seeing the free-range chickens. The home itself is beautifully decorated with a rustic farmhouse feel, and every detail was thoughtfully curated. I hosted a small family gathering with relatives from out of town, and the accommodations could not have been better. The space was more than comfortable enough for 5 adults and 3 children, well-equipped, and perfect for spending quality time together. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms were cozy, and the outdoor space was wonderful for relaxing and making memories. Joe was fantastic—friendly, extremely responsive, and ensured we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil, picturesque getaway with top-notch accommodations, this is the place!

My family enjoyed the house. It was super nice and there was plenty of room to spread out. The kids enjoyed playing on the trampoline and felt safe playing outdoors. We all put puzzles together and watched movies in the enclosed porch. My only "difficulty" was that there were only 2 paper towels on the roll when we arrived and we couldn't find any in storage. I could've reached out to the owner but decided to just go and buy some. It was a great place to stay and we would definitely do it again!

We just got back from Jackie's Place! The home was beautifully decorated and clean. It is private, but also close to the best that Alexandria has to offer! We loved walking to coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. We were there to visit colleges for my son and were surprised how close we were to DC and Georgetown. Having the parking spot was also great. We could just leave the car and walk everywhere. Thank you for a great stay!

Patricia was fantastic! We booked our stay last minute, coming in with our pups. She was incredibly responsive with the questions I was tossing at her on a Sunday afternoon. The place was in a fantastic location, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals and the plus....the Nespresso Cappuccino maker that had cappuccino pods for our stay. When we arrived Patricia had left our pups treats, dishes for water and food, and poop bags for their daily constitutionals. Given the opportunity to travel up that way again, would definitely stay here. Oh! and be sure to ask for some local restaurant recommendations, she did not stear us wrong!

Our first AirBnB experience; any trepidation we felt was put to rest upon arrival. This place was dazzlingly clean--Hooray! Braedin was a fine communicator; we had a little blip (it was chilly, and then we blew a breaker using the provided space heaters simultaneously), but, even late on a Saturday night, kind assistance arrived so quickly that our heads are still spinning! The location was VERY quiet. The upstairs portion of the house was unoccupied during our stay. Everything we needed to fix ourselves breakfast (and my coffee fix) was provided in the kitchen. We were thrilled to be able to do an "emergency" load of laundry, too. I borrowed a stool and lamp from the living room so the bedroom could have light +a table for reading material/phone charging on both sides of the bed (for me and Hubby). We were very happy with the whole experience and will definitely stay here again when we visit our nearby relatives. Thank you for the wonderful lodging, Braedin!

my family and I had an amazing time at Julia's place. She is an amazing host and the house was well furnished and we really enjoyed our 11 day stay there. look forward to coming back again.

We had a lovely stay! Such a convenient location - metro and quick bites nearby made this apartment feel even more homey. Harrison was so responsive and helpful! Would definitely recommend.

Another delightful stay with Bo and Gillian. Perfect hosts; kind, helpful and responsive. Bo and their 2 kids helped us bring our stuff from the car to the apartment the snowy night we arrived! I love the art and decor so much. Bed is super comfortable. We slept very well. Our granddaughter enjoyed her time with us there too. We will be back. Highly recommend this special place. We have enjoyed getting to know Bo and Gillian. Thanks so much!!

We loved staying at John and Reina's place with our family of five! The environment is beautiful and peaceful, both inside and outside. It’s also very convenient, being close to everything we needed to enjoy Washington, D.C!

Hudson’s place exceeded our expectations. Quick two day trip to DC with family who’ve never been. Easy to find. On street parking pass. The apartment was well appointed. Everyone had their own space. Easy walk to delicious and diverse dining options. The walk to the metro was 10-15 minutes. Hudson was an excellent host. We plan on returning!

One of my favorite stays was at John’s place, where he truly made it feel like home. The atmosphere, both inside and outside, was incredibly peaceful and serene. I particularly enjoyed spending time by the koi pond; the vibrant fish added a soothing touch to the environment. Even when we lost power, it turned into a cozy experience. We lit candles, played games, and John provided extra flashlights. Despite the unexpected circumstances, the ambiance felt perfect, creating a warm, intimate setting that reminded me of home.

Hospitality was amazing. Rob went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. Great location, easy to access public transportation. we felt very safe. Highly recommend.

What a delightful gem! The robe on the bathroom door and a bottle of Fiji water in the fridge plus the cozy atmosphere made me feel welcome and right at home. When I am in town, I hope to stay here again.

Quiet river front home. Well appointed, comfortable. We were there during a snow storm so we didn’t get to take advantage of kayaking, but next time we will come back in warm weather so we can!

Overall great stay if you are looking for some place quiet to relax. Scott was great a communication and resolving any issues that popped up. He was very accommodating and flexible. Will definitely stay again if back in the area.

We loved our stay! The hosts were very helpful and accommodating throughout our visit, and the space was conveniently located. We want to come back during the spring to make more use of the outdoor amenities!

Location is away from it all but close enough to walk to downtown Harpers Ferry. Sit outside and listen to the Shenandoah River. Amazing. Tony and hosts thought of everything for our stay.

Great place for large group and families! Host was very easy to communicate with. Place was very clean and as described. Very large house for our group of 8 adults 4 kids and 1 dog perfectly. Lots of baby and toddler items including high chair, utensils, and toys made this a perfect place for families. Close to breweries and wineries which we enjoyed. Last but not least gorgeous view from the living room of the mountains!

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend get away. Perfect and relaxing. Loved the location and all the lovely wineries near by.

This was our second time staying in Denny's home, and it was just as perfect as we remembered from our first visit. The home includes everything we needed, and is a great location for those visiting the Charles Town area. We would recommend this home to anyone ten times over. Thanks for having us...again!
