we have stayed for 2 nights and it was avery pleasant stay surrounded by lush green trees and u can clearly see snow covered mountains from this stay Uncle is very responsive and friendly they have a Little kitchen garden outside and flower plants.property is beautiful and homely it has 3 rooms and kitchen and 2 washrooms this place is little away from dharmashala but it's worth staying there if you have your own vehicle

We had a fabulous time there. The ambiance was amazing. Right out of a picture book with the river flowing next to the balcony and the mountains as back drop. Couldn’t ask for more peace. Nidhi and the cleaning ladies were so friendly and helpful. Nidhi was so helpful, she even left some food for us as we got late in arriving! One place we will definitely visit again.

Stayed at this beautiful property near Dal Lake in Dharamshala and absolutely loved it. The view was breathtaking, and the whole place had such a warm, homely vibe. Arjun, the host, was super helpful and responsive, and Veena Didi and Seema Didi took amazing care of us throughout the stay. The property was squeaky clean, and they were kind enough to accommodate an early check-in too. The food was delicious, very homely, and reasonably priced — felt like a home away from home. Would definitely love to come back!

We had awesome 2 night's stay at Sonali's place - Studio Indique. It's a very spacious studio apartment for 3 people and a huge bathroom. Nice little kitchen in the corner of the apartment to cook or heat. Spacious dining and living space, albeit it's studio apartment. It also has high-speed Internet and nice garden outside to chill out. No TV in the apartment to spend good family time, and we were very happy about it. There are grocery stores and cafes just outside the home stay. So, you can cook your essentials or try culinary skills. Sonali also suggested us few good restaurants around Dharamshala - Sakura (Japanese) and Mcloed Ganj - Hot Yak (Chinese and Tibetan), where we had lip smacking foods. I also celebrated my Wife's birthday at Sonali's place with a delicious cake from nearby cake shop and red wine to make it special. Also, my daughter had medical emergency at the midnight, and Sonali helped us with the hospital details and guided us until she recovered. Thaks Sonali :-)

We loved our stay in Karuna retreat for 5 days. The place has warm and cozy vibes. The kids loved the media room in the attic. It was a different experience for them. Since we were traveling by our own vehicle, we enjoyed the best of both worlds, the calm and peaceful neighbourhood of Rakkad and the hustle and bustle of Mcleod ganj. Traveling to the Main Square of Mcleodganj took 30 mins. Karuna Retreat is very close to Norbulingka Institute which was a great place to sit and just enjoy some peaceful moments. Star and constellations gazing was our favourite thing to do on the terrace of our beautiful homestay. There were nice home run cafes nearby. A grocery shop was just round the corner. We loved the location. Our host Tenzin was an easy and proactive person to talk to, though we never needed anything as everything was just fine. We loved the collection of books there too. We really hope to come back soon and stay for a longer period of time.

The stay and host Mira were nothing short of amazing! I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a really clean space. The apartment is beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and style. Best of all It’s in a quiet area but close to main attractions like the waterfall trek and the good cafes. Can’t wait to be back here!

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The place looked exactly like the pictures—if not even better. From the moment we arrived, Ayush and his team were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. On such short notice, Ayush arranged an amazing barbecue experience for us (the chicken tikka is a must-try!), and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The chef and Sachin were always available, ensuring we had everything we needed. The hospitality, comfort, and attention to detail made our stay completely stress-free. We never had to worry about a thing, including our valuables. If you’re looking for a truly seamless and enjoyable stay, this is the place to be. Highly recommend! We’ll be back soon!

This is a nice place with a view of the snow capped mountains. The caretaker- Deepakji & the cook Surekha Ji are very such delight. The food cooked was very good. The house has a good terrace & a garden .Overall worth it.

This place was wonderful. It was my first stop in India so the perfect place to settle in. It’s a short walk from McLeod Ganj and is surrounded by great amenities including a couple of great restaurants, a shop and a gym. The area is a great mix of Tibetan/Buddhist and Indian cultures. It’s wonderful! The view from the balcony is spectacular and the kitchen is well equipped for self catering. I was remote working so the work desk was ideal but trying to work without getting mesmerised by the view was hard 😂 The team couldn’t have done more for me including getting an Indian SIM card. Thanks guys. I’ll be returning and I can’t wait.

This place is amazing. The staff are incredible. The dome tents are pure luxury and the surroundings are simply magical. I cannot recommend this place enough!! It’s awesome!
