This place is BEAUTIFUL! It was even more awesome than the pictures show. I had a couple simple questions and June was super helpful right away! It was surprisingly refreshing to not have cell phone coverage. There is WiFi at the lodge so “checking in” on things if needed is easily done. I can’t wait to go back in the summer!! We have stayed here a couple of times now and have had a great experience every time. It's a beautiful house and location! All instructions were very clear and the place was so clean. It was really nice that there were some spices, olive oil, and all the necessary cookware to make our meals.

Great space for a group of people with plenty of room for all. Kitchen is well stocked and the rest of the space is cozy. Shower head was a little tricky if your about 4' but we made it work!

Great place, good layout, very clean! Convenient location for skiing at Showdown. Enjoyed sitting out on the covered deck watching our grandson play in the snow. Love the area—just beautiful! Allan was a great host. We’ll be back!

Short answer: this was an amazing place to stay. It was serene, scenic, and wonderful. We took our boys to stay at John's Airbnb in Townsend, Montana. When I booked the stay, I did not dream of the great hiking and all of the outdoor time my kids would be enjoying. Our oldest walked around pretending it was Minecraft in real life and our youngest fished and played in Dry Creek like it was his natural habitat. It's amazing what kids can do with no wifi! John and Danielle came up to say hi and made sure we knew of the nearby cows, where the property boundaries are, and about the events going on in town. The stars shined so incredibly brightly. The air was clear, even though our return to Helena revealed that smoke had settled in on the towns, somehow the creek-side oasis maintained great air quality. We are so thankful for John and Danielle setting up this little spot of paradise near enough that we can make a one night trip to it any time. We are excited to return!

This is our 3rd time staying there. We have a large family, so it contains all of us without any problems and makes it more fun to be together rather then in several hotel rooms. The kitchen setup is great with lots of dishes and cookware for our large family, so we are able to prepare and cook all of our meals there which is much better then having to go out and eat. Lots of bedrooms, Lots of games, toys and books to entertain when we're not off skiing. Even had a highchair to help with the little ones. The road going up to the place can be a little difficult if you don't have 4 wheel drive or a vehicle with good traction when it is muddy or icy, but we did fine. Beautiful home! Dave is helpful and we have enjoyed all of our stays there!

I've spent a lot of time in the area so already knew what to expect and where this cabin was. Cabin was very clean and ready for our arrival. Zach was very courteous in reminding me there was no cell service in the area, so I needed to be prepared to check in and access the wifi for external communications. We went in the winter and expected to have to walk into the neighborhood; that expectation was correct. Driving up the access road to this place in the winter has some difficulties, so be prepared. Snowmobile and ski access are very easy and would rent again. Neighbors are also super kind and helpful if there are any issues, like getting your truck stuck with a jack-knifed trailer at the top of the hill. Cabin was very nice; big wood burning fireplace, central air, fridge, oven/range, dishwasher, microwave, and laundry facilities in house. Front walkway was a bit slippery during afternoon snowmelt. Would most definitely re-rent this place.
