Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

Beautiful place to stay if you want to get away from the city for a little bit! Very cosy and tidy, everything is extremely clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and cooking in the grill the most! Beautiful location and lots of animals to spend time with! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough great things about my stay at Marjorie Perez ’s place! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could need. The attention to detail truly made it feel like a home away from home. Marjorie was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their local recommendations were spot on, and I felt so welcomed and comfortable. The location was perfect. Every little touch, from the cozy bedding to the thoughtful extras made this experience unforgettable. A group of my friends and I stayed here for a weekend. I am from the area originally and the location cannot be beat. It a gorgeous lakefront property and we rented a boat/captain for dinner on Friday to take us down the river to a waterfront restaurant. We heated the pool but ended up using the hot tub instead. The furnishings and house itself are not new or “modern” but it looked exactly as described/and in the photos, and the house is even bigger overall. For the price, this was a great deal. We spent our time hanging out in the kitchen which had enormous windows looking outside, and on the deck, and it was super comfortable for all 11 of us there. Robert was incredibly communicative and always available to answer questions. We wished we could move in! I’d definitely stay there again. Great for large groups.

We only had one night but wished we had more, in that short time, we were in love with the beauty and serenity of both the bnb space and the lake. Definitely worth the visit and we hope to come back. The host was responsive, friendly and available striking that perfect balance of being there when needed and giving space to just enjoy. Highly recommend! This place is a gem!

We stayed at this Airbnb located in-between Charlotte and Rock Hill, SC for an athletic tournament at Manchester Fields. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms were roomy, and the 2.5 bathrooms were a nice bonus. The back yard is cute with grill, fire pit, and soft-side hot tub. This house is located in a cul-de-sac with a suburban feel with drive-to strip malls nearby.

We really enjoyed the stay at Richard’s. The house is full of beautiful cook books and the kitchen is very well stocked with hearty nonstick cast iron, general seasonings, vinegar etc. Also a very nice coffee/tea bar that was also stocked. Hot tub was great and the home was very cozy. Loved walking around the neighborhood. Looking forward to staying again.

Awesome place to stay. Host was very responsive during stay. Would stay again. Very flexible check in and check out times. Very quiet and relaxing with plenty of room for guests.

Bryan's house was perfect for us! We were in town to play with the Charlotte Symphony and had our dog with us. There is a nice sunny, second floor deck with a gate so our dog could hang out with us without escaping into the yard. There's no fence for a dog but a quiet neighborhood for dog walks. Very comfortable place with quiet neighbors. Nice to have parking in the driveway out front. The front door entrance is opened with a code that was easy to operate. Only about 15 minutes to downtown. We would definitely stay again.

Michael was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and responsive and this place was a refuge for our family during home repairs. It had everything we needed to feel at home for a week, and we appreciated the convenient location.

Enjoyed our extended stay. The home was very convenient to all our families activities including restaurants, parks, grocery stores shopping, etc. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were fantastic; very responsive and always helpful. Wonderful home and would definitely stay there again.

Eli's place was just what we were looking for. Simple, free of clutter and in a safe neighborhood. Parks we're close so that was nice with kids.

Wonderful home on a beautiful point with a fantastic view!! We would certainly stay here again, the whole house has a perfectly chill lake vibe, comfortable furniture, and is immaculately clean! Arouna & Charlie were wonderful hosts, immediately responsive and the care they have for this home shows!

It was great to rent from an actual person! I will not rent when I get an automated reply from an inquiry. Jennifer was super-helpful, especially since we needed to extend the stay not once, but twice, due to the repair work on our home that required us to stay there for that long in the first place. We were there for over 2 weeks. Such a quiet and peaceful place. Kids loved the walk around the neighborhood - which took us to several streets where you could see Lake Wylie, too! It's an older home, and some items could use minor repairs (upstairs toilet handle should be replaced) but it wasn't anything that detracted too much from our stay. Very comfortable home and I was able to cook complete meals in the kitchen. Easy wi-fi and TV instructiojns, too. Would recommend for large groups or big families. Lots of gathering spaces - so you're never on top of each other.

Everything was great! easy to get to, clean, and very convenient for what we needed. will Definitely stay again.

We enjoyed the Airbnb a lot .. it was very clean .. comfortable and convenient to everything .. parking was wonderful .. never had trouble finding parking right infront of the unit.. we would go back next time we are visiting Charlotte 🌺

nice place in a nice quiet neighborhood

I spent four weeks at this spacious and comfortable apartment while working in Center City. There is a grocery store in easy walking distance, a great coffee shop a block away. Though it is next to the highway it's pretty quiet and supplies a nice white noise at night. Rachel was quick to respond if I needed assistance, which was rare. Next time I come to Charlotte I will look to see if this place is available.

Our family rented the Fountain of Young over Thanksgiving as a central location to gather 3 generations together. It's ideal for families; there are enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space, yet many spaces to gather together. The media room with the projector screen was a huge hit, as was the heated outdoor pool (a perk when most rentals close up their pools once summer is over). We enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pits; the private beach and kayaks looked inviting for those renting in warmer weather. There are beautiful views of the lake from many spots along the rear of the house. Lastly I must comment on the kitchen - I have never rented an Air bnb with a better equipped kitchen! Any kitchen gadget you could possibly need is on site. For all the dishes, glasses, bakeware, etc., everything was so clean - they have an awesome cleaning crew. Also love that this rental is green they have detailed recycling instructions.

I booked this home so my husband and I could visit our family for the holidays who live about 30 mins away. It was able to accommodate us perfectly. I also have a baby who was able to have an entire nursery to herself which was such a blessing as we wanted her to be comfortable and unaffected. Even though the owners live at the property, the home was absolutely spotless and we felt right at home. They even had a Christmas tree up that we were so excited to gather around on Christmas morning. Very grateful to have found this listing!

Great condo, spacious and beautiful view on the lake. Perfect for our family size and near a great coffee shop.
