what an amazing place! surrounded by the woods, wild animals to see especially coming back by car when it's dark, a cozy and relaxing atmosphere in the cottage. we loved everything about it! one can go everywhere even though it seems far from everything. but many hikes ans nature to see are within max. 40 minutes by car. (a car is an absolute must for this cottage). the only thing would be that the house does not get any sunshine. but there is a beautiful field 1 minute down the alley and I imagine it is perfect for the summer when it is warm but too hot in the sun. thanks also to Suzanne who was a great host and artist!

Great stay! The apartment was clean and the hosts were always very responsive and flexible. It was about a 10-15 drive to get into Bar Harbor so not too bad. WiFi was alright but did the job - wouldn’t be strong enough for a work from home situation, but strong enough for a vacation where we didn’t need it too often.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was immaculate and Ruby was super responsive and helpful. Perfect for families with the open plan. Modern and well stocked. Thank you!

Alice and Kyle were absolutely fantastic hosts! Their cottage felt like a warm hug and had everything we could possibly need! The kitchen was a treasure trove of utensils and cookware, making it a joy to cook! And oh, the beds! They were incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect cozy retreat. We enjoyed the incredible views from the panoramic windows! We had such a wonderful time!

This location has a lot of beauty around it. Recommend arriving during the daylight as it is very dark and so you might need a flashlight to find the keys to get in if you come after dark. Might recommend motion sensor lights to help with this but not a huge deal breaker. They describe the door entrances very well but location this place using their instructions could seem a little vague based on how other entrances looked. But my GPS took us straight there with no issues so the description was not a huge deal. We chose to stay downstairs as it had the gas stove and main shower but the beds need a little attention to their frames as they were a little squeaky when laying down or moving any slight movement. The view was amazing and we got some great pictures of the northern lights. We were not there except to mainly sleep as our trip was for business but would have enjoyed this home if we stayed in the area again. If you need several beds, check this place out.

If you think the photos are beautiful, it’s so much better in person. Even in winter the beach was so gorgeous, we’re tempted to come back this summer! They provide everything you need including supplies for your dogs! Dog bed, water bowl, cleaning supplies etc.. and our dogs loved it here, the big back yard is a huge plus. It’s such a relaxing stay and we would love to come again!

Spacious listing, clean, great amenities, quiet and very easy to check in. We had booked another Airbnb near Acadia for a hiking weekend with my husband, 1.5 year old toddler and dog. The one we chose at first was not what we expected (too small) so we needed to find a new place ASAP. Derek's listing was available to book immediately and we were able to check in very last minute at 9:30 PM. He was very responsive, and we had a great weekend. The place was very clean and spacious and great living room for our child to play and extra bedrooms for him to nap. Room in the backyard for the dog to run around as well. Overall, it was perfect for what we needed for a weekend away to be close enough to Bar Harbor/Acadia.

We were immediately charmed by this pristine, cozy cottage by the ocean. The view is incredible and the atmosphere relaxed and inviting. Ashley and her hospitality crew are so friendly and helpful. Felt like we had known them for a while! Very difficult to leave this beautiful place.and hope to return someday.

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!
