This space was beautiful and peaceful. I felt like I was sitting in a place where artist and writers and storytellers had gathered. The house was so comfortable and inviting. Back Yard Bistro in Pipes Creek had the best chicken fried steaks I've ever tried. The hill behind the home was an excellent adventure for my family. The yard was perfect and sitting in the hot tub with the views was magical. 10 out of 10 on everything. I want to come to this place again.

This house was perfect for our romantic getaway. Everything was perfect. The house was comfortable and homey yet modern and clean feeling. The bed was so comfortable I slept like I was home. It was secluded and quiet. The hot tub worked great as well. We would definitely go here again if we wanted to unplug and get away. The host was helpful and responsive. Ten out of ten for sure.

We booked this place for my boyfriends birthday and it was everything we needed. The views alone were what made the entire stay. We relaxed, disconnected, and enjoyed literally just the peacefulness of the place. It was just enough for what we needed, close enough to go check out the cute towns nearby. Bring a small heater if you get cold easily and easy food/snacks. We even booked an extra night because we didn’t want to leave. The hosts were great and even went as far as making a birthday basket for when we arrived. Highly recommend ❤️

What an awesome spot for a weekend away! We could not be happier with our stay at this cute little cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed the front porch and coffee in the morning and then hanging out in the back at night enjoying a relaxing fire. Hot tub was great as well! The cabin had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean, and the linens were good quality. The property feels private despite having other airbnbs on the property as they are well spaced. We would happily stay here again!

My wife and I were looking for a quiet and cozy weekend away in a private setting. Cabin in the Woods met our expectations. It was clean and comfortable and private. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the wood stove worked great during the cold nights.

My friend and I stayed for two nights with my dog and had an amazing time! The location was remote and peaceful just how we were hoping. The house was clean and the decor was so fun and unique. The views were stunning even in winter and we got to enjoy a full moon in the hot tub! My friend forgot two personal items in the house, and Cristina was kind enough to facilitate them being shipped back to her. 10/10 and hopefully will come back someday 😊

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this cabin, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature. A highlight of our trip was definitely the hot tub, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Had a great time staying with Randy and Michelle! They provided helpful and thorough instructions and the place was the perfect getaway for 2! It was in a quiet and peaceful location that offered the privacy we were looking for while still being in a great location to visit Fredericksburg!

Wonderful location to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We love the serenity the place offer. The animals are beautiful and it's such a great experience to interact with them. I look forward to it every day. Myra and her husband are such great hosts, they gave us a tour around the property and introduced us to all the animals there. It was a great and unique experience.

From sunrise to sunset, everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! The views were stunning, the pickleball court and pool were so much fun, and the convenience store had everything we needed. The attention to detail was amazing; the place was cozy, spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location was ideal, with easy access to wineries, restaurants, and local activities. It was a girls’ trip weekend, and we felt safe and had an amazing time. I highly recommend this place whether you’re planning a getaway with your partner, family, friends, or even just looking to escape the city solo for a weekend. It’s pet-friendly! We’d absolutely go back and truly enjoyed our stay.

Our family loved the cabin. It felt so remote and relaxing on the property, yet we were still within a short drive of many hill country attractions. A great place to base your hill country getaway.

Heather thought of everything. The place was well stocked, clean, organized, decorated, and peaceful. It even smelled amazing! The master bed was the comfiest I have ever slept on. The instructions on how to use each fan and remote and air conditioner was easy and placed thoughtfully. Heather responded to each of my questions promptly. It was quiet and peaceful. My husband and I got some much needed rest with our dog enjoying the ability to run in and out to the pet area. My husband said the gas grill was the best he has used and I loved cooking in that kitchen. Heather doesn't skimp and provides the best for her guests! Only note is for people with back, leg/knee or hip issues. While the bathtub/shower is quaint and adorable, it may be too tall for some people with the physical problems I listed. I have some back and knee pain and it was difficult but doable. Still totally worth the stay! I felt pampered and cared for and at home.

We had a great time at William’s cabin! The kids played in the river all day. It was fun taking the kayaks down the river, fishing and relaxing. We hope to come back again!

Linda's cabin near the river was a perfect getaway spot! The cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our stay truly memorable. The proximity to the river allowed us to enjoy nature and relax. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

We had so much fun. Three families came together to enjoy the river. It was perfect for our group. Each family had a separate cabin, yet we could all be together. No stress! The kids were always occupied and there was no complaining. It was very convenient to have the river and all the recreational water vessels available. Melanie was an attentive host.

We enjoyed our stay at our little cabin! It was located right on the river and was the perfect size place for a weekend trip.

The exclamation point on a wonderful 2-week road trip through the great state of Texas. The pictures honestly do not do David's place justice. David was also very responsive and took time out of his day to show me around his ranch on his Side by Side exploring the different windmills and buildings. Don't hesitate to book this place, seriously!

We had a great time at Carrie’s place. We had the whole area to ourselves and the view was very nice and peaceful.

This humble cabin was everything we needed for a weekend getaway in the hill country. We enjoyed star gazing, having a little fire, and unplugging. Plus it was close to Garner & Lost Maples, which are great for hiking. I’d definitely be back again!
