Marouane's place has been one of the most beautiful stays I've been in. I had the honor and privilege to stay at Marouane's during the month of Ramadan, so I had the pleasure of experiencing the varied festivities in the Medina during this holiday. Not only is this place centrally located and extremely walkable, Marouane's hospitality is unmatched. Marouane was consistently responsive, patient, and went above and beyond if I had any concerns. Marouane was like a father-figure to me, and his nurturing nature made me feel even more at home.

Martial nous a récupéré à l'aéroport. Notre avion arrivant le matin Martial nous a laissé occuper le logement avant l'heure prévue ! C'était très appréciable de pouvoir poser nos valises des notre arrivée !! Encore merci ! Nous avons eu le droit au petit plateau de bienvenue (café, thé, pain de mie, beurre ......) ce qui est très gentil ! Le logement correspond aux photos, bien placé au sud de la medina. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Maryem est une hôte très agréable et sympathique..son.appartement est mieux que sur les photos..grand et spacieux très proche du centre de tunis à pied!! bref idéal ! Maryem a eu la.gentillesse de nous attendre alors que bous sommes arrivés après minuit! bref allez y les yeux fermés !!

Nous avons eu une chance immense de pouvoir loger dans cet appartement. À deux pas de la Médina (magnifique), nous étions dans cet endroit qui est plein de charme et très confortable. Nous avons enfin eu le bonheur de croiser la propriétaire, Rabâa, qui s'était déplacée immédiatement pour régler un souci technique, et d'échanger avec elle sur tous les sujets autour d'un verre sur le rooftop de l'hôtel Dar El Jeld...

The listing was accurate and true to its description. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Medina, making everything easily accessible and providing an authentic experience. Hayfa was an outstanding host. Shortly after our reservation, she introduced herself and assured us she would provide additional details closer to our departure. True to her word, she sent a wealth of useful information that greatly enhanced our trip. Upon arrival, we found a well-organized guide with details about local amenities, which was incredibly helpful. Since we booked our stay during Ramadan, finding food and transport proved to be a challenge at times. However, Hayfa was exceptionally responsive throughout our stay, going above and beyond whenever we needed assistance. I highly recommend this location for those seeking an authentic experience and excellent hospitality. Thank you for a warm and welcoming stay!

As a digital nomad, I’ve been using Airbnb and similar situations for the last 2+ years and can confidently say this is the most beautiful and unique place I’ve stayed. It is the kind of place where you get inspired. It is part museum and part fruit of love of the owners meticulous restoration efforts of this historic house. But don’t be scared. It has all the modern amenities and they work perfectly well. Amel had warned me about the wifi coverage being it the medina but the wifi worked pretty great in one part of the house which was good enough for me and I managed to work remotely without a hitch. I can’t wait to return and bring friends next time!

Logement bien situé , pas très loin de la mosquée de Zitouna , des restaurants et cafés de la médina. Plusieurs commerces avec marché à proximité. bien décoré, charmant avec toutes les commodités. propre un peu bruyant mais c'est l'esprit de médina ! toutes mes remerciements à l'hôte, très gentil, réactif et bienveillant . Nous avons passé un bon séjour.

5 stars. Very unique stay in a historic building. Our family of 5 stayed a week at Khalil's home and was very comfortable. Spacious rooms, large kitchen, interesting building, thoughtful decor, reliable WiFi (on the slow side but comparable to internet speeds we've had in Tunisia). We had plenty of space and felt at home. There is street noise which isn't a surprise because the apartment is centrally located, however I do recommend ear plugs for sleeping. Khalil is a very responsive and thoughtful host. He was super helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Thanks for a great stay, we absolutely would book again if we return to Tunis!
