I rented Lisa's home for my partner's birthday gathering, and we had an unforgettable time there—every guest was amazed by the property! It was the perfect size for what we needed, and you can very comfortably sleep up to 12 people there. The place was clean, spacious, with lots of character, and we were allowed to bring our cat, who had a lovely time too! He particularly enjoyed the guinea pigs! The hot tub was a great addition, which we managed to squeeze 8 people into! In terms of location, despite being right next to a busy road, it is very private and you can't hear the traffic from inside. We walked to the nearby winery for a tour and tasting, which was lovely, though the road is not particularly pedestrian-friendly. All in all, Lisa was extremely helpful and friendly, and helped make our stay wonderful. She had even left some fresh eggs in the kitchen for us, laid by the chickens in the garden. We loved it, and I can highly recommend staying there!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is in a beautiful location surrounded by gorgeous scenery. Its so peaceful and relaxing, but there's plenty to do if you choose. Wendy was friendly and incredibly helpful with all our questions. Nothing was too much trouble. The interiors are tastefully decorated (the fireplace is amazing) and the hot tub was a lot of fun! Its a great spot to watch the sunset. The house is easy to understand and Alexa makes life straightforward. Charging the car for free was a bonus! The place is a perfect escape to the countryside.

We had a fantastic stay. Had everything we needed, the place was decorated and furnished well, the beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was lovely and relaxing! Would definitely come back here again!

Short and sweet stay - very quick and easy check in out and out process. Beautiful property and lovely in the sun! Clean and as described. Will be coming again in summer for longer!

If you want a peaceful getaway this is the place, the surroundings are stunning, very picturesque! The host was so helpful we asked for earlier check in and she accepted which was fantastic, everything is thought of and you could literally turn up with clothes and a toothbrush! There’s is even fresh milk in the fridge, the ice machine is a lovely touch too especially with the nice weather is so warm there and hardly any wind. I would definitely visit again! 10/10 - We had a wonderful stay in the countryside! The views were stunning, and the property was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need—Kari (the host) truly thought of every detail. If you’re looking for peace, privacy, and a chance to recharge, this is the perfect place. We left feeling refreshed and already hope to be back soon. Highly recommended

Beautiful place, with everything you could need for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The views were amazing from the decking and the hot tub. The hut has everything you could need for a few nights stay. The hosts were very helpful and instructions for check in were really clear. I would definitely go back

What a beautiful place! The surroundings are lovely and peaceful. It is great for birdwatching, and we also enjoyed watching the bunnies visiting the garden. We loved being next to the Woodland Trust area for little walks. Coming from London by train is super easy, and there are lots of nice pubs and cafes nearby. Barbara and Mike were really quick to respond to any messages and very helpful. We hope to return in the future!

We loved our time spent at the lodge. It is easy to locate if you follow directions left by Julie. Everything was clean and tidy . The lodge has a lovely cosy feel. The hot tub was great. We did plan to go out for a meal at a restaurant near by but decided not to as we just want to spend our time in the lodge! Definitely recommend, thank you Julie

We loved our stay at Pancake Lodge, beautiful views, immaculate lodge, hot tub was a very good quality one, outdoor dining area was unique and creatively made, all amenities needed and clear communication throughout. Kari also was kind enough to add a birthday banner for us before arrival and helped plan for a later check in putting on some lights warmth etc. Very thoughtful extra touches were appreciated. Would highly recommend and will return.
