Roma ji is an excellent host! She has a great knack of knowing when to engage with guests, and when to leave them on their own. She ensured my comfort, helped me with many local recommendations (Especially tailored to my biking trip), and allowed me lot of flexibility around breakfast timing (Given that on most days I left early in the morning for my bike trips). Meghalaya haa so much to offer, and one trip is not enough to cover it all! And whenever I visit Meghalaya, I will ensure I stay at Hillcrest! PS: Great view of Shilong (Morning & Night) right from your room! dont miss it!

Me and my husband took a trip to Shillong 4days back and stayed at Risa green Homestay. The whole place has a beautiful calm and positive vibe. The house is located in lush green forests with beautiful birds and pine trees to look at right from the balcony. The mesmerising beauty and the sunrise was my total healer. The chirpy birds woke me up early 😃but I was more than happy. The host Veera and her family are warm and friendly people. Despite her busy schedule at work n with family, she was always ready to help. Infact she helped us immensely with our booking at Cherrapunji and trust me all her recommendations were great, from food to stay. We loved the stay and would highly recommend people who are looking for a quiet place to heal their body and soul to visit this place. They provide home cooked simple food also and the staff is always helpful. Thanks for having us stay at your place 🙂

Martina was the best host anyone can ask for and the place was just perfect for a holiday to experience the beauty of Shillong away from city hustle. They made my stay so comfortable and the place was exactly as promised!!! Best choice of stay and friendship in all of Shillong!!!

This was one of the perfect homestays! Warm hosts who provide fabulous food and great conversation, combined with a quiet, green location, far from the madding crowds of Shillong, and yet not too far from the main points.

The villa is extremely well maintained and has aesthetically pleasing interior. The caretaker Saka was also good helped us with things. They only have Omelette, Bread Butter, Banana as options for Breakfast. The only feedback for improvement from us is that we felt was that there is no water dispenser/purifier and they offer only 2/3 (500ml) bottles of water at check-in even though you stay for more than 2 nights. Any requirement for additional water during your stay is chargeable.

We really had a nice time staying at your place with a comfortable room and a peaceful outdoor area. My room was beyond my expectations, because it was more beautiful than those pictures. actually I found the location more convenient than police bazar. thanks you Rachel

Dama's place is perfectly located in a startegic place to beat the traffic for some scenic sites in Meghalaya. Even though it is in the outskirts of the city this place has serenity which speaks a lot through the sorrouding hillocks, the cultivated lands around brings the moisture in the air right upto the doorstep which we call the dew and to compliment is the hosts warmth that comes with long corporate and adminsitrative experiince. Wishing that she increases the room numbers soon. God bless

I had a wonderful stay! The cleanliness was impeccable, and even though we checked in late at night, the host made the process smooth and hassle-free. The place had a cozy, homely environment, and its location was perfect, just a short walk to Dawki River. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the host was incredibly helpful in guiding us to nearby spots worth visiting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Thanks a lot for making our stay so enjoyable!

Vivi is a very active and helpful host. The place is 10 mins away from police bazaar and the property is very easy to locate and very clean. Even the care takers are very helpful. Would love coming back to this place.

Awesome place - ideal for peace. The hosts are friendly and responsive. the place is away from the city and you could share a taxi for 80 bucks one way per passenger to the city centre. I would want to stay there again. Cheers

I had a wonderful stay at Dariasa's. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The host was very responsive ensuring a smooth check in and a pleasant experience throughout. Especially appreciate the well stocked kitchen and thoughtful welcome snacks. Overall it was a fantastic stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shillong.

Dhruva s Homestay was a stone throw from the main market… it was easy to communicate with him and the entire stay was without any problems…

We stayed for a night at Hesed house. The place is extremely comfortable and catered to all our needs. Sai was responsive and answered all our queries and Iba at the house was very helpful. The food is exceptional and the view from the place is to die for! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

I had a memorable stay at Emily and Sankrita's place. The place is a luxury given that it is located in a village and has every amenities one can look for in this budget. Sankrita is the sweetest host I have ever met. She and her team went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, always ready to respond to every demand. Sankrita also took me to nearby places of interest and cooked awesome food. The location is a bit remote, and the roads not so good. but it is totally worth it because of the genuine and kind hospitality of the host and the arrangements. Emily took care of all the initial communications. It was my "home" away from home, for those days and Sankrita made it possible. 💕 I cannot thank her enough for everything.

I had a great stay at Caney's place! The homestay is located on an uphill neighbourhood, so it might be difficult for some to walk but it's quiet and peaceful. The place has all the essentials, just as listed. Caney was super responsive and quick to help whenever needed.

This is my second time here and I don't think I can ever give this place anything less than 5 stars! This Airbnb has been kept really well maintained and both the host and the caretaker are super responsive and helpful. Overall a great place to unwind!

The host and also the caretaker Andrew made sure our check in was hassle free. The place is located in the Laitumkhrah area which is a nice quiet neighborhood away from the noise of the city. Places like Dylan's cafe, Hashtag café and café Shillong are very close by and if you want a scooter, caretaker Andrew can arrange one for you. The complimentary breakfast was simple but very good. The room was a cozy one with a decent speed wifi and a shared kitchen. Our experience overall has been amazing and would definitely recommend this place and the host to anyone visiting Shillong.

Location: Perfect for us. We were in Shillong for the NH7 Weekender. So we wanted something located close to the bus stop and shuttle drop off points. It's about a 20 minute walk to Police Bazaar and say about 30 min walk to SRGT bus stop. 2 minute walk from Barik bus stop, which was a BIG help cause we got back from the venue after midnight. Place: Room and attached bathroom are super clean. Breakfast is served in the morning and being a big eater I was definitely not left wanting. Completely worth it. Plus, it's very very rare to have a host make the effort to serve you something different every morning. We definitely appreciated the effort and care. Host: Very welcoming, helpful and warm. Trust me, you'll feel right at home here. Go ahead and book.

Absolutely gorgeous and homely place with great amenities, breakfast and dinner they made was very tasty and well prepared, Eric was a lovely host, very responsive and helpful throughout and made our stay quite comfortable. The room had good enough hot water for 2 guests, the staff was very friendly and helpful too. would love to stay again
